Obliterated premieres on Netflix November 30. The series is a high octane action-comedy that tells the story of an elite special forces team who thwarts a deadly threat to Las Vegas. After their celebratory party, filled with booze, drugs and sex, the team discovers that the bomb they deactivated was a fake. The now intoxicated team has to fight through their impairments, overcome their personal issues, find the real bomb, and save the world.

True Detective: Night Country will premiere on HBO January 14. When the long winter night falls in Ennis, Alaska, the eight men who operate the Tsalal Arctic Research Station vanish without a trace. To solve the case, Detectives Liz Danvers and Evangeline Navarro will have to confront the darkness they carry in themselves, and dig into the haunted truths that lie buried under the eternal ice. The new season will consist of six episodes. 

Netflix has renewed Alice in Borderland for a third season. With Kento Yamazaki and Tao Tsuchiya reprising their roles as Arisu and Usagi, fans can look forward to witnessing the evolution of their characters in the ever-dangerous landscape of Borderland. Shinsuke Sato’s continued direction will also ensure that the series maintains its trademark intensity and cinematic excellence. Based on the manga series of the same name by Haro Aso, the series follows the story of Arisu after he is transported to a parallel universe in which he has to play and win games to remain alive. The games are divided into four categories represented by suits on a deck of playing cards. 

Season two of Peacock’s Wolf Like Me premieres October 19 with all seven episodes. In the new season, Mary and Gary leap into the next phase of their relationship, facing their biggest challenge yet: pregnancy. As much as the two try to have a “normal” pregnancy, it seems impossible with so many questions looming over them. Will their child be a human or a wolf? Just how long can they keep things secret from the rest of their family? Will what happened in the outback come back to haunt them? And with Mary’s former professor, Anton, suddenly in the picture, can their relationship withstand newly unearthed secrets from Mary’s past? 

Netflix’s DROP 01 event revealed a lot of first looks and series announcements:

An animated Devil May Cry series is coming soon to the streamer. The anime series is based on the game of the same name.

The streamer offered a first look at the upcoming third season of Sonic Prime. 

Captain Laserhawk: A Blood Dragon Remix premieres on Netflix October 19. 

Blue Eye Samurai premieres on the streamer November 3. 

Scott Pilgrim Takes Off premieres on November 17. 

Pluto premieres October 26. 

Masters of the Universe: Revolution will premiere in 2024. 

Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft is coming soon. Hayley Atwell will voice Lara. 

The first three episodes of Castlevania: Nocturne premieres during the event ahead of the series premiere September 28. 

Animated sci-fi series Scavengers Reign premieres on Max October 19 with three episodes weekly. The remaining crew of a damaged interstellar freighter ship find themselves stranded on a beautiful, yet unforgiving alien planet where they must survive long enough to escape or be rescued. As the survivors struggle to locate their downed ship and missing crewmates, their new home reveals a hostile world allowed to thrive without human interference. 

Joe Manganiello is set to host NBC’s upcoming series Deal or No Deal Island. 13 players are transported to the elusive Banker’s private island to compete for cash in a season-long, fully immersive competition. The series will combine thrilling challenges, mind-bending dilemmas and the classic game of Deal or No Deal as contestants try to beat the banker. Manganiello will guide them throughout – leading the game play, relaying the banker’s tempting offers and helping them through the toughest decisions of their lives. The iconic briefcases are back and are hidden on the island with millions in prize money split between them. In each episode, players vie to get their hands on the highest-value briefcase for a chance to gain immunity and choose a fellow player to enter “The Temple,” where they must play a high-stakes game of Deal or No Deal.

The two part The Real Housewives of Orange County reunion premieres October 4 on Bravo. Host Andy Cohen sits down with housewives Tamra Judge, Shannon Storms Beador, Heather Dubrow, Gina Kirschenheiter, Emily Simpson, and Jennifer Pedranti as well as friend Taylor Armstrong. 

With the writers strike coming to an end, late night is setting return dates. HBO’s Last Week Tonight With John Oliver returns October 1. NBC’s The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and Late Night with Seth Meyers will return October 2. CBS’ The Late Show With Stephen Colbert returns October 2, ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live returns October 2. Comedy Central’s The Daily Show returns October 16 with more guest hosts for the remainder of the year. 

Chrissy & Dave Dine Out and Royal Rules of Ohio, which were set up at hulu, will now premiere on Freeform. The network also picked up the new series Sasha Reid and the Midnight Order. 

The Curse of Oak Island returns for season eleven on The History Channel November 7. With their boldest plans yet to solve the 228-year-old treasure mystery, Rick and Marty Lagina alongside their talented team are back like never before. Continued dig efforts take place within the infamous Money Pit, Lot 5 and beyond while stunning discoveries continue to be unearthed on Oak Island. Additionally, the team’s research leads them to embark on the most monumental journey overseas yet that will offer new and shocking evidence that could finally connect the Knights Templar to this centuries long tale. Could it be that this year marks the end of the world’s longest-running treasure hunt?

Diane Wiest will not be in the upcoming third season of Mayor of Kingstown. The fate of her character was left hanging at the end of the second season. The Paramount+ series from Taylor Sheridan stars Jeremy Renner. 

Katy Perry will appear in an upcoming episode of Peppa Pig. Perry will voice dressmaker Ms. Leopard when the episode airs in spring 2024. 

The Challenge: Battle for a New Champion premieres on MTV October 25. The season will feature 24 fierce contenders vying for the crown as they endure the ultimate test of willpower with unpredictable formats and shocking twists. Mental and physical limits will be pushed further than ever before as contenders must face off against rotating vets in surprise eliminations. With the stakes higher than ever, this new era of competitors must beat the best to be the best. In the end, who will solidify their legacy and emerge as a first- time champion? Leading up to premiere, fans will get an exclusive sneak peek and meet the cast during MTV’s The Challenge: Battle for a New Champion: Countdown Begins launch special October 18. 

Good Night World premieres on Netflix October 12. Four miserable members of a dysfunctional household have no idea that they’ve formed a happy family unit in an immersive VR game – with each other.

Medium Theresa Caputo is back in the new Lifetime series Theresa Caputo: Raising Spirits. Premiering in 2024, the show follows Theresa as she explores the next phase of her personal life and embarks on a much-anticipated tour, including sold-out shows in London, for Theresa Caputo Live! The Experience. No topic will go uncovered: from spending time as a devoted friend, mother, daughter, grandma, to many exciting first-time adventures. She’ll celebrate her son’s wedding, help her daughter adjust to motherhood, visit with her parents next door… and channel her share of spirits for others. Whether she’s on the road or back home on Long Island, some people are put in Theresa’s path for a reason, and she is known for her surprise readings. Throughout the series, cameras will be there to capture these impromptu moments no matter if she’s running an errand or at a drive-thru, and viewers will see as she often makes big impressions on skeptics time and again, leaving them stunned. 

Crashing Eid premieres on Netflix October 19. When Razan’s British Pakistani fiance crashes her Saudi family’s Eid celebrations, she attempts to convince them that he is a suitable match.

Why Not Us: Grambling Dance premieres on ESPN+ October 4. The eight episode fifth season will take fans beyond the performances of one of the most well-respected HBCU dance lines in the country – the Orchesis Dance Company at Grambling State University. 

Season two of All the Same… or Not is now streaming on Disney+. Carol and her friends Beta, Trix, Pri, and Amanda are getting ready for a new year of school, beach, and fun in their beloved Rio de Janeiro. 

CNN Max has launched on Max. The hub features a full seven day schedule with content from CNN, CNN International and original content. The 24/7 streaming service will bring the immediacy and value of global breaking news with top analysis, context, and reporting across all the biggest stories in the world.

L-POP is now streaming on Disney+. The new series invites audiences to discover the fascinating world of K-pop – the successful genre of Korean pop music that is already a global phenomenon – through a story full of music and dance. The series follows Andrea, a K-pop fan who decides to form her own cover dance group to win her ultimate dream prize in a music contest: a trip to Seoul. Throughout the six episodes, Korean culture is represented with the language, cuisine, and traditions. 

The cast of Prime Video’s The Boys are welcoming the cast of spinoff Gen V to The Boys universe. Jack Quaid, Antony Starr, Erin Moriarty, Jessie T. Usher, Karen Fukuhara, Colby Minifie, Claudia Doumit, and Cameron Crovetti provide advice to the newcomers. The series premieres September 29 on Prime Video.
