X-Men ’97 will premiere on Disney+ March 20. The series revisits the iconic era of the 1990s as The X-Men, a band of mutants who use their uncanny gifts to protect a world that hates and fears them, are challenged like never before, forced to face a dangerous and unexpected new future. The voice cast includes Ray Chase as Cyclops, Jennifer Hale as Jean Grey, Alison Sealy-Smith as Storm, Cal Dodd as Wolverine, JP Karliak as Morph, Lenore Zann as Rogue, George Buza as Beast, AJ LoCascio as Gambit, Holly Chou as Jubilee, Isaac Robinson-Smith as Bishop, Matthew Waterson as Magneto and Adrian Hough as Nightcrawler

Season three of Girls5eva will make its debut on Netflix March 14. The members of the late ’90s girl-group Girls5eva – Dawn, Wickie, Summer, and Gloria – have reunited and recorded a new album, Returnity, so it’s time for the next logical step: a comeback tour. With no plan, tour manager, or venues secured, the ladies pile into a van and hit the great unknown, doing their damnedest to promote their album and get back on top. In the process, Girls5eva will grapple with life on the road, see their relationships tested, play a billionaire’s birthday party, sow their oats, confront parents they believe held them back, cross paths with the biggest pop star on the planet, and question if they really want “the big time” again. Will Girls5eva fast-track their comeback and sell their tour documentary in the process? Or will the road destroy them? 

The fourth season of Evil will serve as the final season. Paramount+ has also ordered an additional four episodes to wrap up the series. The series is a psychological mystery that examines the origins of evil along the dividing line between science and religion. The final season will premiere in May. 

Season two part two of Invincible premieres on Prime Video March 14. Based on the comic book by Robert Kirkman, Cory Walker, and Ryan Ottley, the story revolves around 18-year-old Mark Grayson, who’s just like every other guy his age – except his father is (or was) the most powerful superhero on the planet. Still reeling from Nolan’s betrayal in Season One, Mark struggles to rebuild his life as he faces a host of new threats, all while battling his greatest fear – that he might become his father without even knowing it. 


The CW has set Spring premiere dates for new and returning series. Season six of All American will premiere April 1 at 8. FBoy Island spinoff Lovers and Liars will air a special presentation April 1 at 9 before it moves to its regular timeslot April 11. Walker premieres April 3. Crime procedural Sight Unseen will premiere April 3. Patti Stanger: The Matchmaker premieres April 11. 100 Days to Indy premieres April 26. Police 24/7 premieres April 30. Hostage Rescue premieres April 30. All American: Homecoming will premiere following the season finale of All American. The final season of Superman and Lois will premiere in the fall. The network has also ordered new series. Sherlock & Daughter puts Sherlock Holmes out of his comfort zone, mysteriously unable to investigate a sinister case without risking the lives of his closest friends. Enter: young American Amelia. After her mother’s mysterious murder, she learns her missing father may be the legendary detective. The network has also ordered game shows Trivial Pursuit and Scrabble. 

The fourth and final season of The Umbrella Academy premieres on Netflix August 8. The series is based on the comic book series created and written by Gerard Way. The cast includes Elliot Page, Tom Hopper, David Castañeda, Emmy Raver-Lampman, Robert Sheehan, Aidan Gallagher, Justin H. Min, Ritu Arya, Colm Feore, Nick Offerman, Megan Mullally and David Cross. 

Season two of American Rust, rescued by Amazon Freevee following its cancellation at Showtime, will now premiere on Prime Video March 28 with the title American Rust: Broken Justice. Jeff Daniels, Maura Tierney, and additional Season One cast return alongside new series regulars Luna Lauren Velez and Kyle Beltran. The series takes us back to the fictional small town of Buell, Pennsylvania. Del Harris and Grace Poe try to rebuild their lives after the harrowing events of Season One. Season Two picks up with a string of seemingly unrelated murders, hinting at a much larger conspiracy that threatens everyone in this small, tight-knit town. The series is based on the novel by Philipp Meyer. 

Lovie Simone and Michael Cooper Jr. will star in Mara Brock Akil’s new Netflix series Forever. Regina King will direct the first episode and executive produce the reimagining of the groundbreaking 1975 Judy Blume novel.

Meryl Streep will return for the upcoming fourth season of Only Murder in the Building. Streep made her first appearance in the hulu series in season three. She plays the role of Oliver’s girlfriend, Loretta Durkin. 

Jon Hamm has been cast in Paramount+’s Landman. Set in the proverbial boomtowns of West Texas, the series is a modern-day tale of fortune seeking in the world of oil rigs. Based on the notable 11-part podcast “Boomtown,” the series is an upstairs/downstairs story of roughnecks and wildcat billionaires fueling a boom so big, it’s reshaping our climate, our economy and our geopolitics. 

British comedy series Dead Hot will air on hulu in the US. The series is a compelling and twisty character-driven comedy-thriller set in Liverpool, which explores family, class, love, trauma, and identity. Protagonists Elliot and Jess navigate the highs and lows, and complexities of their mid-twenties.

ALLBLK has renewed Wicked City for a third season. The series follows a coven of Black witches who push their supernatural powers to new heights after uncovering dark secrets and accidentally entering the world of the forbidden. Three months after failing to stop a magical slaver named The Handler, the Atlanta coven find themselves broken and separated. Jordan – who now runs The Mystic Haven – and Angela try and fail to find Sherise who’s being held captive by The Handler. Mona has moved away, and Camille is put in permanent hiding by her birth mother, Claudette. Unbeknownst to the coven, Tabitha and Caden are trapped inside a nightmare realm as Claudette exacts her revenge. Meanwhile, Sherise is forced to do The Handler’s bidding at his high-class magical supper club “Obsidian Dream.” 

Maribel Verdú, Mariela Garriga, Austin Amelio, Ben Temple and Dani Rovira will star in Max’s When Nobody Sees Us. The plot takes place during Holy Week 2024 in Morón de la Frontera, a town in Andalusia, southern Spain, located adjacent to a local U.S. Army base. Lucía Gutiérrez portrays a Civil Guard sergeant investigating the unusual suicide of a neighbor and a series of strange events that occur during the first Easter procession. Magaly Castillo plays a U.S. Army special agent sent to the Morón de la Frontera base to investigate the whereabouts of a missing American soldier who seems to have connections to a mystery linked to Colonel Seamus Hoopen, head of the base area. The lone military policeman, Sergeant Andrew Taylor, accompanies Magaly in her investigations. They soon discover that the two investigations are connected, the case is more complex than they had assumed, involving both Morón residents and American military personnel from the nearby base. 

Brian and Mika Kleinschmidt go head-to-head in HGTV’s newest renovation competition series 100 Day Hotel Challenge. Inspired by a recent boutique hotel renovation in Florida they completed together, Brian and Mika will now raise the stakes by assembling teams of HGTV experts to help them fully transform two adjacent, dated beachfront hotels in stunning Salter Path, North Carolina – and in only 100 days or less. The six-episode series is slated to premiere in Summer 2024. 

TNT Sports has announced a multiyear renewal agreement with Reggie Miller. Miller is amidst his 19th season with TNT Sports, serving as a game analyst for NBA on TNT’s regular season, NBA All-Star, and NBA Playoffs coverage, through the Conference Finals. He has called more than 650 national NBA regular season and playoff games throughout his television broadcasting career – fifth all-time among color commentators – including 13 NBA Conference Finals. He will be calling his 17th NBA All-Star Game for TNT February 18, at 8 p.m. ET from Indianapolis. 

JJ Redick will join Mike Breen, Doris Burke and Lisa Salters on ESPN’s lead NBA broadcast team. The new team will call NBA Finals on ABC, Eastern Conference Finals and more marquee games. 

Preschool streaming service Noggin will be shutting down later this year. Nick Jr. content and more which was on the service is also available on Paramount+. 

Live sports event The Netflix Slam premieres March 3 on Netflix at 12:30pm PST / 9:30pm CET from the Michelob ULTRA Arena at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino. 22-time Grand Slam men’s singles title champion Rafael Nadal will face off against World No. 2 and fellow Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz. Joining the Slam for on and off court commentary and play by play are tennis greats Andre Agassi, Andy Roddick, Jim Courier, Mary Joe Fernández and Patrick McEnroe as well as tennis analyst Prakash Amritraj and host Kay Adams. For Spanish markets, tennis favorites Feliciano López and David Ferrer will be calling the shots.

The Long Shadow will premiere March 21 on Sundance Now and AMC+. When a mother of four is found murdered near her home in October 1975, DCS Dennis Hoban leads the investigation but is frustrated in his efforts to find her killer. After a succession of further murders, it dawns on the detectives that they are dealing with a serial killer. Bereft of serious leads, Hoban is quickly sidelined from the investigation by Chief Constable Ronald Gregory, who seeks to run the investigation his way. After subsequent murders, Gregory appoints Assistant Chief Constable George Oldfield to take over the inquiry. 

A Round of Applause premieres February 29 on Netflix. Struggling with existential angst and longing for his past life in an orange, a man navigates his quirky family in this decades-spanning drama.

Limited series The Sympathizer premieres April 14 on HBO. Based on Viet Thanh Nguyen’s novel of the same name, the series is an espionage thriller and cross-culture satire about the struggles of a half-French, half-Vietnamese communist spy during the final days of the Vietnam War and his new life as a refugee in Los Angeles, where he learns that his spying days aren’t over. 

Chicken Nugget premieres March 15 on Netflix. A woman steps into an odd machine and becomes… a chicken nugget?! Now, it’s up to her father and admirer to embark on a zany quest to bring her back.

Tig Notaro: Hello Again premieres on Prime Video March 26. The hilarious and sharply observed stand-up special is packed with delightfully awkward misunderstandings, health scares made hilarious, and family moments with her wife and children that are simultaneously sidesplitting and heartwarming. With her signature delivery and celebrated gift for storytelling, Notaro’s new set hits all the right notes.

Season seven of Somebody Feed Phil premieres March 1 on Netflix.
