Season two of Frasier premieres on Paramount+ September 19 with the first two episodes. The new season will see Dr. Frasier Crane return to his radio roots at KACL in Seattle for an episode. The episode will feature previously announced guest stars stepping back into their roles from the original Frasier including Dan Butler as Bob “Bulldog” Briscoe, Edward Hibbert as Gil Chesterton and Harriet Sansom Harris as Frasier’s delightfully devilish agent, Bebe Glazer. The series follows Frasier Crane in the next chapter of his life after he returns to Boston to face new challenges, forge new relationships and – with hope – finally fulfill an old dream or two. 

Season two of Kold x Windy premieres August 8 on ALLBLK. The series exposes the reality behind Chicago’s south side and its street culture that has influenced our entire nation. This season brings conflict and desire, along with new characters and betrayals. Rising hip-hop and drill star Malika “Kold” Wise, who is now very pregnant with her deceased fiancé’s child, has fallen into an emotional rollercoaster of anxiety and violent fits. Although Kold x Windy have recently signed with Achieve Jamz, Malika seems to have lost her musical footing. Forced to return to committing her “stains,” she’s reverting to the life she so desperately tried to leave behind. Her trusted confidant and group member Renee “Windy” Johnson, is still obsessed with reppin’ Kold x Windy on the mic and in the streets. Despite her bulletproof façade, Renee is dealing with her own set of demons. 

The English dub of Twilight Out of Focus will begin streaming on Crunchyroll July 18. A boys’ school film club is the backdrop for three tales of new romance. Mao and Hisashi pair up for a project, make three promises, and draw closer together in the process. The club president, Jin, and a jealous junior named Giichi clash before finding common ground. Shion, a first-year student, joins the film club in search of a boyfriend and butts heads with Rei—until Rei asks him on a date.

Season two of Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures premieres August 14 on Disney+ and Disney Jr. Set 200 years before The Phantom Menace, during the High Republic era, the series follows Jedi younglings Kai Brightstar, Lys Solay, and Nubs as they study the ways of the Force, explore the galaxy, help citizens and creatures in need and learn valuable skills needed to become Jedi along the way. The new season follows the younglings as they continue their training and embark on even bigger missions across the galaxy. Helping to lead the younglings on these missions is Master Zia’s new Padawan, Wes Vinik, and his astromech RO-M1. As they continue their training and grow in the ways of the Force, the young Jedi will travel to new planets with new and old friends and encounter adversaries like The Ganguls, who are growing in their pirate ranks.

Netflix has ordered Sneaky Links: Dating After Dark to series. The dating experiment show tests a very real phenomenon (a regular late night casual hook up) through a one-of-a-kind dating social experiment. Is your sneaky link ‘the one’ or are they getting in the way of you finding the one? Chloe Veitch will host the series while Spicy Mari will serve as a dating and relationship expert. The series will premiere summer 2025. 

Season two of anime series Oshi no Ko will receive an English dub on HIDIVE in the coming months. The series will have an early world premiere screening at Anime NYC on August 23. The new season has already begun streaming on HIDIVE with English subtitles. 

K-Drama No Gain No Love premieres August 26 on Prime Video. The rom-com is a modern romance about not wanting to lose out on love, money, and career. Will these characters be able to gain love and not lose out on anything? 

Japanese female pro-wrestling drama series The Queen of Villains premieres September 19 on Netflix. The series tells the untold story of Dump Matsumoto, a professional wrestler who ignited a boom in women’s wrestling in the 1980s with her cult-like following. Unlike the iconic “Crush Gals” duo, Chigusa Nagayo and Lioness Asuka, Matsumoto made her mark as the most famous heel. Dominating television screens, they became a cultural phenomenon, captivating Japan.

ESPN and ABC will provide multi-day, multi-platform coverage of the 2024 AT&T WNBA All-Star hosted by the three-time WNBA Champion Phoenix Mercury. On Friday, July 19, ESPN will televise the Kia WNBA Skills Challenge and the WNBA STARRY 3-Point Contest at 9 p.m. ET. On Saturday, July 20, the 2024 AT&T WNBA All-Star Game will be broadcast live on ABC in primetime for the second consecutive year. Live coverage from Footprint Center tips off at 8:30 p.m. with a special onsite edition of WNBA Countdown Presented by Google preceding Saturday’s broadcast at 8 p.m. (ABC). Veteran play-by-play voice Ryan Ruocco, Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Famers Rebecca Lobo and Holly Rowe will call the action for both days, with LaChina Robinson hosting studio coverage live from site alongside analysts Andraya Cater, Hall of Famer Carolyn Peck and Chiney Ogwumike, providing updates in and around the events on Friday night in addition to Saturday’s edition of WNBA Countdown Presented by Google. 

Great American Family has renewed County Rescue for a second season. The series follows the unique challenges EMTs and paramedics face on both their personal and professional journeys. 

Thirteen AMC series will make their debut on Netflix August 19. The series include A Discovery of Witches, Anne Rice’s Interview with the Vampire, Anne Rice’s Mayfair Witches, Dark Winds, Fear the Walking Dead, Gangs of London, Into the Badlands, Kevin Can F*** Himself, Monsieur Spade, Preacher, That Dirty Black Bag,The Terror, and The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon. 

Echoes of the Past is coming soon to Netflix. After losing his sister Nadia in a diving accident, Yehia is wrongfully imprisoned for her murder. 15 years later, he returns to uncover the truth and seek revenge.

The first three seasons of French series High Intellectual Potential are streaming now on hulu. The series is the inspiration for the upcoming ABC series High Potential set to premiere this fall. With an IQ of 160, Morgane’s life gets turned upside-down when her extraordinary abilities are discovered by the police, who offer her a job as consultant. But in exchange, the cops also have to work for her – reopening a missing persons investigation into Morgane’s first true love, who vanished fifteen years ago.
