Apple TV+ has renewed Dark Matter for a second season. The series is based on the book by Blake Crouch, and follows Jason Dessen, a physicist, professor and family man who – one night while walking home on the streets of Chicago – is abducted into an alternate version of his life. Wonder quickly turns to nightmare when he tries to return to his reality amid the mind-bending landscape of lives he could have lived. In this labyrinth of realities, he embarks on a harrowing journey to get back to his true family and save them from the most terrifying, unbeatable foe imaginable: himself.

Prime Video has canceled My Lady Jane after one season. The series is a radical retelling of English royal history, in which King Henry VIII’s son Edward does not die of tuberculosis, Lady Jane Grey is not beheaded, and neither is her rascal of a husband Guildford. At the center of this swashbuckling new series is the brilliant and headstrong Jane, who is shocked to be crowned queen overnight and finds herself the target of nefarious villains coming for the crown (and her head). It is an epic tale of true love and high adventure.

RuPaul’s Drag Race, RuPaul’s Drag Race: Untucked, RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars, and RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars: Untucked have been renewed for new seasons. RuPaul’s Drag Race will return to MTV for its 17th season. RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars will return for season 10

Nicole Scherzinger will serve as mentor and judge in its upcoming unscripted series Building the Band. Joining her on the judging panel are music experts Liam Payne and Kelly Rowland, together bringing their unparalleled expertise and personal band experience to the competition. Adding to the excitement, AJ McLean will host the series. Additional guest judges, along with various challenges will be announced at a later date. The series brings together talented singers for a truly unique competition show where building the perfect band is all about chemistry. The singers are in complete control as they seek to form their very own bands in individual ‘booths’ without ever seeing each other. All they have to go on is musical compatibility, connection, chemistry and merit. What will happen when the bands finally meet, and looks, choreography, and style come into play? With incredible performances, compelling drama, and one big goal – to find the next great music band – the stage is set for an unforgettable experience.

Yerin Ha has been cast in the upcoming fourth season of Netflix’s Bridgerton. She will appear as Sophie, the love interest of Benedict, who will be the main focus of the new season. Jonathan Bailey has also announced that he will reprise his role as Anthony in the new season.

Fox has moved the season premiere of anthology crime series Accused due to the Vice President debate. Originally scheduled for October 1, the series will now return October 8.

Netflix has canceled Buying Beverly Hills after two seasons. Mauricio Umansky’s family-run firm The Agency represents some of the most lavish properties in Beverly Hills. But there’s drama around every corner.

Eugene Levy and Dan Levy are set to host the 76th Emmy Awards on ABC. The ceremony will air live coast to coast from the Peacock Theater at L.A. LIVE in Los Angeles on September 15 (8:00-11:00 p.m. EDT/5:00-8:00 p.m. PDT).

The CW has pulled The Librarians: The Next Chapter from its fall schedule. The series was originally set to premiere October 24. The network recently announced The Wranglers would air in its place with no word on when the series will now air.

The series finale of Naruto: Shippuden will air August 31 on Toonami. New episodes of One Piece will replace the series starting September 7, doubling up its airing.

Nat Geo has canceled Wicked Tuna after thirteen seasons. The series follows a group of salty fishermen from the nation’s oldest seaport, Gloucester, Massachusetts, as they make their living the way it’s been done for centuries – rod and reel fishing, one catch at a time – all in pursuit of the bluefin tuna. One “monstah” bluefin can be worth more than $20,000, and with that kind of money on the line, every captain is fighting to be the best in the fleet.

CBS is developing a third hour of its morning show CBS Mornings. The new hour will feature different talent and a different name to be announced.

A-List to Playlist premieres August 30 on Netflix. Actor Cho Jung-seok tries his hand at singing with Jung Sang-hoon and Moon Sang-hoon by his side. With special appearances by IU, Park Hyo-shin, Gummy, and Dynamic Duo, follow the 20-year acting veteran’s 100-day journey as he prepares to make his grand singing debut.
