Chief of War premieres August 1 on Apple TV+. Set amidst the beautiful backdrop of the islands of Hawai’i, the nine-episode series, based on true events, follows warrior Ka’iana, portrayed by Jason Momoa, as he tries to unify the islands before Western colonization in the late 18th century. Told from an indigenous perspective, the series is a passion project for creators Momoa and Thomas Pa’a Sibbett, who share native Hawaiian heritage. The series features a predominantly Polynesian cast, led by Momoa alongside Luciane Buchanan, Temuera Morrison, Te Ao o Hinepehinga, Cliff Curtis, newcomer Kaina Makua, Moses Goods, Siua Ikale’o, Brandon Finn, James Udom, Mainei Kinimaka, Te Kohe Tuhaka and Benjamin Hoetjes. 

F1: The Academy premieres May 28 on Netflix. This adrenaline-fueled docuseries follows female drivers as they battle it out in the 2024 F1 Academy racing series. Through exclusive, behind-the-scenes access, the seven episode series highlights the drama of the races, as well as the personal stories and high stakes for these incredible drivers and the teams around them, as they break barriers in one of the most demanding sports in the world. For F1 Academy’s leader and managing director, Susie Wolff, the pressure has never felt more real. The future of women in motorsport is at stake. As Susie spearheads this new operation, her extensive experience behind the wheel of F1 cars allows her to connect with the drivers on a deep and personal level, whilst understanding the pressure that each one of the drivers face to succeed. 

Season four of Family Law will premiere on The CW July 23. As the ten episode season starring Jewel Staite and Victor Garber kicks off, Abigail’s home, work and romantic life are up in flames. Her boyfriend Ben has fallen off the wagon, Sofia has written a devastating essay about her mother’s alcoholism and Harry has passed her over for equity partnership. Abby decides to give Ben a second chance – though it only leads to more disappointment. Later, sparks fly when she meets someone new and unexpected, but is she ready to date again? Professionally, Abby’s concerns about a major development at the firm are ignored, forcing her to make a decision that sends shockwaves through the office – and her family. Meanwhile, Harry and Joanne manage their breakup poorly, until they both have experiences that make them reevaluate what truly matters. At work, Harry’s plan for a lucrative merger with a rival law office looks like a sure thing until it forces him to make an impossible choice. 

Apple TV+ announced a new five part docuseries titled Mr. Scorsese. The series is a portrait of a man through the lens of his work, exploring the many facets of a visionary who redefined filmmaking, including his extraordinary career and unique personal history. With exclusive, unrestricted access to Scorsese’s private archives, the documentary series is anchored by extensive conversations with the filmmaker himself and never-before-seen interviews with friends, family and creative collaborators including Robert De Niro, Daniel Day-Lewis, Leonardo DiCaprio, Mick Jagger, Robbie Robertson, Thelma Schoonmaker, Steven Spielberg, Sharon Stone, Jodie Foster, Paul Schrader, Margot Robbie, Cate Blanchett, Jay Cocks and Rodrigo Prieto, along with his children, wife Helen Morris and close childhood friends. From acclaimed director Rebecca Miller, the series examines how his own colorful life experiences informed his artistic vision as each film he made stunned the world with originality. Starting with his New York University student films through to the present day, this documentary explores the themes that have fascinated Scorsese and informed his work, including the place of good and evil in the fundamental nature of humankind. 

The Summer House two part reunion premieres May 28 on Bravo. Host Andy Cohen joins Amanda Batula, Kyle Cooke, Paige DeSorbo, Imrul Hassan, Lindsay Hubbard, Ciara Miller, Gabby Prescod, Carl Radke, Jesse Solomon, West Wilson, and Lexi Wood as they revisit a season of blossoming beginnings and heartbreaking endings. 

Zach Braff will reprise his role as John “J.D.” Dorian in ABC’s Scrubs reboot series in the works. Series creator Bill Lawrence is already attached to the project. Discussions with other original cast members will begin as well. 

Season two of The Ultimatum: Queer Love premieres June 25 on Netflix. Additional episodes will premiere July 2. Six new couples, made up of women and non-binary people, are at a crossroads in their relationship. One partner is ready for marriage, the other may have doubts. An ultimatum is issued. And in just over eight weeks, each couple will either get married, or get out, after they each choose new potential partners in a life-changing opportunity to get a glimpse of two different futures. JoAnna Garcia Swisher hosts the series.  

The Chrisleys will return to television on Lifetime for the newly greenlit docuseries, The Untitled Chrisleys Project, premiering later this year. In the wake of the family’s controversy and upheaval with their parents sentenced to time in federal prison for bank fraud and tax evasion, the Chrisley Family is now pulling back the curtain and offering unprecedented access to their lives in a deeply personal and dramatic new series. In the new series, the Chrisleys don’t know best anymore, but they’re doing their best to be there for each other. The family faces the challenge of carrying on the Chrisley name and legacy on their own with only phone calls and brief visits with their incarcerated parents. While Savannah maintains custody of her younger siblings, Chloe and Grayson, she has been fighting tirelessly for a Presidential pardon to free her parents. Meanwhile, Chase is addressing some life struggles while building his new business and navigating his relationship with girlfriend Jodi. For the first time, this multigenerational family which includes Todd’s beloved mother Nanny Faye and Julie’s parents Harvey and Pam, is exposing the raw truth of their lives – past and present – and the reality is far different from what audiences have seen before. The family faces a critical point in their lives that will either make the family bond stronger or leave it shattered forever. This series delivers an unfiltered, deeply personal look at their journey and introduces the real Chrisleys as they navigate this new chapter. 

HBO and NFL Films re-team to present two upcoming editions of the groundbreaking series Hard Knocks: Training Camp with the Buffalo Bills debuting August 5 on HBO with new episodes of the five-part series premiering on subsequent Tuesdays through September 2, and Hard Knocks: In Season with the NFC East debuting this December. Head coach Sean McDermott and general manager Brandon Beane will be featured alongside the 2024 NFL Most Valuable Player, quarterback Josh Allen, and an array of veteran and rookie players training at St. John Fisher University in Pittsford, New York in Hard Knocks: Training Camp with the Buffalo Bills. Hard Knocks: In Season with the NFC East will follow the Dallas Cowboys, New York Giants, Washington Commanders, and reigning Super Bowl LIX champion Philadelphia Eagles. The Cowboys’ Dak Prescott and CeeDee Lamb, the Giants’ Russell Wilson and Malik Nabers, Jayden Daniels, and Terry McLaurin of the Commanders, and Jalen Hurts and Saquon Barkley of the Eagles are among the stars to be featured in the series.

Six part docuseries Jesy Nelson: Life After Little Mix is coming soon to Prime Video. This summer, ESPN’s flagship news and information program will travel from coast to coast with the launch of “SportsCenter: 50 States in 50 Days” – a nationwide tour designed to bring SportsCenter and its anchors directly to fans across the country. Beginning Friday, June 27, the ESPN tour will feature a mix of live on-site shows and storytelling segments from a different state each day for 50 consecutive days. While originating from high-profile athletic venues and events to unique hometown locales, the initiative will spotlight rivalries and community traditions, while capturing the full spectrum of what it means to be a sports fan in every corner of America. 

The Madame Blanc Mysteries returns July 7 on Acorn TV. Season four returns to the wonderful world of Sainte Victoire, packed with unusual antiques and objéts d’art, murder, mystery, sunshine and laughter. Jean White is navigating a fledgling romance with her sidekick Dom Hayes. 

The 2025 Concacaf Gold Cup will take place in 14 stadiums across 11 U.S. and Canadian cities from Saturday, June 14, to Sunday, July 6. The 2025 Concacaf Gold Cup opens FOX Sports’ Summer of Soccer with the United States Men’s National Team (USMNT) starring in their final premier tournament test before next year’s FIFA World Cup 2026. The stacked 16-team field featuring the region’s top national teams, including the USMNT, Mexico, Canada, Panama, Costa Rica, Honduras, Haiti, Jamaica, Trinidad and Tobago, Guatemala, El Salvador, Suriname, Dominican Republic, Guadeloupe, Curacao and Saudi Arabia kicks off across FOX Sports networks this summer with 31-matches airing on FOX (4), FS1 (24) and FS2 (3).

Soccer drama series 90 Minutes premieres May 22 on Peacock. When Las Navajas, a once-legendary amateur soccer team, is shaken by a scandalous brawl, their aging owner recruits washed-up local legend “Veneno” Montoya to coach the underdogs through a tournament filled with bitter rivalries, mafia threats, and impossible odds – igniting a wild journey to reclaim their honor and restore their neighborhood’s pride. 

Noah’s Arc: The Movie premieres June 20 on Paramount+. The movie will celebrate the 20th anniversary of the iconic Logo series. The series’ original stars Darryl Stephens, Rodney Chester, Doug Spearman, Christian Vincent, Jensen Atwood and WIlson Cruz return to reprise their roles in the film with special appearances by Jasmine Guy, TC Carson, Eva Marcille, Gregory Kieth, Jonathan Julian White, K’Hood, Mariyea, Jasun Jabbar, TS Madison, Kennedy Davenport and Dynisty St. James. Fans and new audiences will reunite with the beloved chosen family following the events of 2020’s Noah’s Arc: The ‘Rona Chronicles special.
