HBO’s Harry Potter television series has cast screen newcomers Dominic McLaughlin in the role of Harry Potter, Arabella Stanton as Hermione Granger, and Alastair Stout as Ron Weasley. The series will be a faithful adaptation of the beloved Harry Potter books by author and executive producer J.K. Rowling. 

Netflix’s Little House on the Prairie has added more cast. Jocko Sims will play Dr. George Tann. Warren Christie will play John Edwards. Wren Zhawenim Gotts will play Good Eagle. Meegwun Fairbrother will play Mitchell. Alyssa Wapanatǎhk will play White Sun. Xander Cole will play Little Puma. They join previously announced series regulars Alice Halsey in the role of Laura Ingalls, Luke Bracey as Charles Ingalls, Crosby Fitzgerald as Caroline Ingalls and Skywalker Hughes as Mary Ingalls. Part hopeful family drama, part epic survival tale, and part origin story of the American West, this fresh adaptation of Laura Ingalls Wilder’s iconic semi-autobiographical Little House books offers a kaleidoscopic view of the struggles and triumphs of those who shaped the frontier. 

T’Nia Miller has been cast in Marvel’s upcoming Vision Quest series. She joins Bettany and James Spader in the Disney+ WandaVision spinoff series. 

The Wheel Of Time has been canceled after three seasons. With the Forsaken loose in the world, the heroes of the Light must chart their own courses and muster hidden strengths as they face the Darkness within themselves. 

Disney+ has picked up the rights to CoComelon starting in 2027. The hit animated kids series has been streaming on Netflix since 2020. 

Season two of Dan Da Dan premieres July 3 on Netflix. The mystery around Jiji’s family boils over as Momo, Okarun and Turbo Granny investigate the strange hot spring town and its even stranger secrets.

Production has begun on season two of Showtime’s The Agency: Central Intelligence. The new season stars Michael Fassbender, Oscar nominee Jeffrey Wright, Jodie Turner-Smith, Katherine Waterston, Harriet Sansom Harris, John Magaro, Saura Lightfoot-Leon, Andrew Brooke, India Fowler, Reza Brojerdi, Alex Reznik and Richard Gere. It follows Martian, a CIA agent living undercover in his own life. Samia, his lover, is a political prisoner in Sudan and he will do anything to try and save her, even past the point of treachery. The only way out is deeper in. A knife-edge Martian must walk if he is to save love, life, and his mission. 

Straw Hats! One Piece is headed for the Grand Line! First stop: TUDUM. The series is the live action adaptation of the world’s most popular manga by Eiichiro Oda. An epic saga of adventure on the high seas, the story follows the adventures of Luffy, an enthusiastic young man with the singular aspiration of becoming King of the Pirates. 

Following the series finale of After Midnight, CBS will air Comics Unleashed with Byron Allen in the 12:37 slot following The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. The Byron Allen-hosted comedy talk show will air Monday through Friday with back-to-back, half-hour episodes. The syndicated series has been running since 2006. 

Masterpiece on PBS has acquired two series for 2025 and 2026. The Great Escaper featuring Michael Caine and Glenda Jackson in their final acting roles will premiere this fall in its U.S. television debut and The Count of Monte Cristo starring Sam Claflin and Jeremy Irons will premiere in 2026. The Great Escaper tells the true story of Bernard Jordan who made global headlines in the summer of 2014. He had staged a “great escape” from his care home to join fellow war veterans on a beach in Normandy, commemorating their fallen comrades at the D-Day Landings 70th anniversary. The Count of Monte Cristo is a lushly lensed adaptation of Alexandre Dumas’ iconic masterpiece.

Hulu has pride! See the joy and feel the love on Hulu all throughout June. Season two of I Kissed A Boy premieres June 17 with a reunion episode June 24. Season 2b of The Bravest Knight premieres June 20. The 2025 LA Pride Parade will stream live June 8 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. PT. The 2025 New York City Pride Parade will stream live June 29 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. PT. The 2025 San Francisco Pride Parade will stream live June 29 from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. PT. ESPN has selected two of Major League Baseball’s top rivalries for Sunday Night Baseball Presented by Capital One on June 8 and June 15. The American League East-leading New York Yankees and Aaron Judge will host the Boston Red Sox and Rafael Devers on Sunday, June 8, at 6:30 p.m. ET on ESPN. The start time will change to 7 p.m. – the traditional Sunday Night Baseball timeslot – if the Indiana Pacers defeat the New York Knicks to advance to the NBA Finals. The following week, the defending World Series Champion and National League West-leading Los Angeles Dodgers and Shohei Ohtani will host the second place San Francisco Giants and Wilmer Flores on Sunday, June 15, at 7 p.m. on ESPN. 

Too Hot to Handle: Spain premieres June 13 on Netflix. 10 contestants will come together thinking that they have been selected to participate in a fake reality show called Masters of Seduction, hosted by model and host Alba Carrillo. But their lives are about to change when they meet Lana, a virtual assistant who won’t miss a single detail. A prize of 100,000 euros is on the line for these contestants, who will have to give up on any affection and any possible heat that might arise between them in that paradise-like place where they have met. And the prize they aspire to will be reduced every single time one of them breaks the rules. 

Yolanthe premieres June 18 on Netflix. The series follows Yolanthe Cabau as she builds a new life in Los Angeles with her son Xess Xava following a turbulent period in the Dutch public eye. Whilst juggling single motherhood to the son she had with ex-footballer Wesley Sneijder, renovating a new home and pursuing her acting career she tries to chase her wildest dreams in the City of Angels. However, the past is never far away. Old wounds, complicated familial bonds, and unexpected, life-threatening setbacks turn her life upside down. As she builds her future it becomes clear that the past has not been resolved. Will she be able to find happiness in L.A., while life has her going down a different path? 

Netflix today announced the start of production of its upcoming adaptation All the Truth Behind My Lies, a new miniseries based on the novel by Elísabet Benavent. The miniseries tells the story of Coco and Marín, two best friends who have been living together for years. They are about to embark on a caravan trip with their entire gang to celebrate their friend Blanca’s bachelorette party, but what should be an adventure celebrating friendship turns into a ticking time bomb as the secrets hidden among them gradually begin to unravel. 

Underdogs premieres June 15 on National Geographic. Narrated by Ryan Reynolds, the series gets up close and personal with the outcasts of the animal kingdom. Each episode of the five-part series showcases a different aspect of these underdogs’ bizarre mating strategies, surprising superpowers, deception, dubious parenting skills and gross-out behaviors. It features a range of never-before-filmed scenes, including the first time a film crew has ever entered a special cave in New Zealand – a huge cavern that glows brighter than a bachelor pad under a black light thanks to the glowing butts of millions of mucus-coated grubs. All over the world, overlooked superstars like this are out there 24/7, giving it maximum effort and keeping the natural world in working order for all those showboating polar bears, sharks and gorillas.
