NBC has renewed American Ninja Warrior for an 18th season. All rounds of the competition will film in Las Vegas this fall. New this season, a brand-new round will be introduced to the competition featuring a supersized three-lane racecourse, where ninjas will face off head-to-head-to-head in thrilling side-by-side races. It will continue with the action-packed, all-racing format for the National Finals introduced in Season 17, where the winner will take home a grand prize of $250,000.

Eight-part historical epic drama King & Conqueror will stream on Prime Video in the US. The series is the story of a clash that defined the future of a country – and a continent – for a thousand years, the roots of which stretch back decades and extend out through a pair of interconnected family dynasties, struggling for power across two countries and a raging sea. Harold of Wessex and William of Normandy were two men destined to meet at the Battle of Hastings in 1066; two allies with no design on the English throne, who found themselves forced by circumstance and personal obsession into a war for possession of the crown. It stars James Norton as Harold, Earl of Wessex, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau as William, Duke of Normandy, Emily Beecham as Edith Swan-neck and Clémence Poésy as Matilda. The ensemble cast also features Eddie Marsan as King Edward, Juliet Stevenson as Lady Emma, Jean-Marc Barr as King Henry, Luther Ford as Tostig, Geoff Bell as Godwin, Elliott Cowan as Sweyn, Bo Bragason as Queen Gunhild, Bjarne Henriksen as Earl Siward, Oliver Masucci as Baldwin, Clare Holman as Gytha, Elander Moore as Morcar, Indy Lewis as Margaret, Jason Forbes as Thane Thomas, Ingvar Sigurdsson as Fitzosbern, Ines Asserson as Judith, Sveinn Ólafur Gunnarsson as Hardrada and Léo Legrand as Odo.

All ten episodes of Are You My First? premiere on hulu August 18. Meet the largest group of eligible virgins ever assembled, arriving in a tropical paradise with their hearts open and their V-cards intact. It is a groundbreaking new dating experiment, where virgin singles are free to explore their connections without judgment. Hosted by Colton Underwood and Kaitlyn Bristowe, these sexy young singles embark on a heated yet heartfelt journey, packed with romantic dates, revealing challenges, and new love interests eager to find “the one.”

Let the Devil In premieres August 31 on MGM+. The haunting and mysterious four-episode documentary series is about a decades-old tragedy that destroyed one family and ignited the darkest fears of a small New Jersey town. For the first time, witnesses, friends, and community members try to make sense of the unthinkable events, some believing that Satan took hold of a vulnerable teen boy, while others believe that far more earthly demons were to blame.

The English dub of Even Given the Worthless “Appraiser” Class, I’m Actually the Strongest premieres August 5 on Crunchryoll. All twelve episodes will be available. Ein has been saddled with the job of “Appraiser,” the weakest and least fortunate of all the jobs one can be born with, as the only power it grants is the ability to appraise things. Treated cruelly by all and reduced to a litter collector by his peers, Ein has grown to hate himself and lives his days in spineless self-abasement. But when he meets Yuri, the spirit of the World Tree, and her protector, Ursula the sage, Ein’s fate takes a drastic turn. With the gift of a Spirit Eye from Yuri and the help of Ursula in learning how to use it, Ein grows stronger and stronger, until he’s ready to take Yuri on her long-desired journey to meet her World Tree’s sisters. He goes on to overcome all sorts of challenges, armed with his natural kindness and his new-found courage.

Newcomers Chance and Soraya Painter, both just 28 and raising two young kids, begin carving out a homestead in remote Alaskan bush country. As they face unpredictable terrain and daily survival, seasoned legends like Marty Meierotto and Mike Horstman continue their tireless fight against the elements, refusing to let go of the rugged independence they’ve spent a lifetime building. And for 81-year-old icon Tom Oar, this season could mark the moment he decides whether to keep going or hand off the torch.
