Season two of The Last Thing He Told Me premieres February 20 on Apple TV. Based on Laura Dave’s “The First Time I Saw Him,” the new season sees Owen show up after five years on the run. Hannah and her stepdaughter Bailey find themselves in a race to figure out how to reunite their family before the past catches up to them. 

House of Villains returns for season three February 26 on Peacock with the first three episodes. Hosted by Joel McHale, the hit comedy competition series brings together 11 reality all-stars who must scheme, strategize and shade each other in different challenges for a chance to win $200,000 and the title of “America’s Ultimate Supervillain.” 

Bait premieres on Prime Video March 25 with all six episodes. The series stars Riz Ahmed as Shah Latif, a struggling actor, whose last chance to hit it big comes in the form of an audition of a lifetime. The series follows him over the course of four wild days as his life spirals out of control and his family, ex-lover and the entire world weigh in on whether he is the right man for the job.

Netflix’s The Hunting Wives has added WNBA star Angel Reese in a co starring role. She will appear in the upcoming second season as “Trainer Barbie”. 

In a special telecast, NBC will air its comedy Stumble on February 20 at 10:30 p.m. ET/PT immediately following that evening’s coverage of the Milan Cortina Winter Olympics. The series is a mockumentary about the ridiculously high stakes competitive world of junior college cheer. 

Netflix has announced the cast of its upcoming drama series Kennedy. Michael Fassbender is Joe Sr. and Laura Donnelly is Rose, Joshuah Melnick will play Jack, Ben Miles is Eddie Moore,  Saura Lightfoot-Leon is Kick, Cole Doman will play Lem Billings, Nick Robinson is Joe Jr., Lydia Peckham is Rosemary. and Imogen Poots will play Gloria Swanson. The series explores the lives, loves, rivalries and tragedies that shaped the most iconic dynasty in modern history. 

Prime Video has ordered the adult animated series Lore Olympus. The series is based on the Webtoon webcomic by Rachel Smythe. The series is a modern, romantic reimagining of the Greek myth of Hades and Persephone

Production has begun on the upcoming second season of North of North. The eight episode Netflix series is currently filming in Iqaluit, Nunavut, and Toronto, with production continuing through April. Season two will continue to follow Siaja, a young Inuk mother who attempts to build a new life in her tiny Arctic community of Ice Cove. Anna Lambe will reprise her starring role as Siaja, alongside Maika Harper, Braeden Clarke, Jay Ryan, Mary Lynn Rajskub, Zorga Qaunaq, Bailey Poching, Nutaaq Doreen Simmonds and Keira Cooper. 

Netflix has announced a strategic partnership with MAPPA Co., Ltd. (MAPPA), the acclaimed studio behind hits such as Chainsaw Man and Jujutsu Kaisen. Through this collaboration, the two companies will work together on new projects with a global perspective – from story development to merchandise – and Netflix will exclusively stream a slate of original MAPPA-produced anime titles to members worldwide. Netflix has already brought distinctive MAPPA productions such as Ranma1/2 and Kakegurui Twin to global audiences. Under this expanded partnership, multiple new anime projects are now in planning and production. Together with MAPPA, Netflix aims to bring more original anime from Japan to the world, broaden opportunities for creative collaboration, and pioneer new frontiers in anime expression.

Marty, Life Is Short, the definitive documentary on comedian Martin Short, is coming to Netflix May 12. Directed by Lawrence Kasdan, the film takes a look at one of the most influential comedians of a generation through never-before-seen footage and exclusive interviews.

Glitter & Gold: Ice Dancing premieres February 1 on Netflix. The high-stakes docu-series explores the passionate and sparkling world of competitive ice dance, where lifelong partnerships (both romantic and platonic), relentless dedication, and raw human emotion all collide with one goal: Olympic glory. The dramatic three-part series follows the world’s best ice dance pairs, including American favorites Madison Chock and Evan Bates, campy Canadians Piper Gilles and Paul Poirier, and the wild cards, Guillaume Cizeron and Laurence Fournier Beaudry from Team France. Each episode will showcase their rollercoaster journey, on and off the ice, as they push the boundaries of their art form and compete head-to-head on the road to the upcoming 2026 Winter Olympics in Milano Cortina.

The English dub of Tune in to the Midnight Heart premieres January 20 on Crunchyroll. Meet Arisu Yamabuki, heir to a powerful conglomerate who seeks perfection in life. He listened to the radio program Midnight Heart Tune until the host, Apollo, vanished. Upon enrolling at Furin High and joining the broadcasting club, he meets four girls hoping to make a living off their voices. Arisu promises to make their vocal dreams come true and honor the promise he once made to Apollo.

Docuseries Saban is coming soon to ESPN. The multi-part series chronicles the life, legacy, and seminal impact of the most successful college football coach of all time, Nick Saban. The series will peel back the curtain on the long closely guarded world of Saban, with hundreds of hours of never-before-seen footage from the locker room and practice fields, as well as many other behind-the-scenes moments in his career at Alabama, and prior to that LSU, the Miami Dolphins, and Michigan State among other stops. There’s also a wealth of present-day interviews with Saban and his wife, the legendary Ms. Terry Saban, whose own influence and impact played a massive role in Nick’s success as a coach and leader. The English dub of An Adventurer’s Daily Grind at Age 29 premieres January 20 on Crunchyroll. Born and raised in the slums, 29-year-old adventurer Hajime Shinonome now lives a quiet life in Komai Village. But his peaceful days take a turn when he discovers Lirui, an abandoned young girl, being attacked by a slime. Moved by her desperation and reminded of his own past, he takes her back to the village. Straight to Hell premieres on Netflix April 27. Was Kazuko Hosoki a savior or a devil? The series examines the untold life of one of modern Japan’s most influential and controversial figures. Season two of Iyanu premieres Spring 2026 on Cartoon Network and HBO Max. Season two continues Iyanu’s evolution as her powers deepen and the weight of leadership intensifies. Alan Chikin Chow, the most-watched YouTube Shorts creator, is partnering with Netflix for a new scripted series in collaboration with HYBE America, the U.S. arm of the Korean music and entertainment company. His new series will follow a misfit crew of aspiring pop idol rejects enrolled in an arts academy who come together to form a co-ed band. The emerging artists who will star alongside Chow will release original music concurrently with the series. With Chow’s content expertise and HYBE’s K-pop training, the music group will be well on its way to joining the ranks of Katseye and BTS. 

The Dangers in My Heart: The Movie will be in theaters February 16 (subtitled) and February 18 (English Dub). Tickets will be available January 23. The film uses footage from the first two seasons of the HIDIVE series along with new animation following Kyotaro Ichikawa and Anna Yamada. Kyotaro Ichikawa is a painfully awkward middle school boy deep in the throes of eighth-grader syndrome, spending his days obsessed reading morbid books like The Encyclopedia of Murder and anatomical diagrams. His quiet, isolated world is suddenly turned upside down when Anna Yamada, the classroom star, unexpectedly steps into his life. Whether she’s casually eating rice balls in the library, humming to herself, or suddenly closing the distance between them, Yamada’s unpredictable behavior leaves Ichikawa constantly off balance. And before he knows it, she is occupying his every day thoughts. As they spend more time together, Yamada too begins to find herself drawn to Ichikawa in ways she never expected. It’s the first time either of them has truly understood what it means to “like” someone. Through misunderstandings and clumsy, heartfelt emotions, the distance between them slowly, but surely, begins to close.
