Apple TV+ has renewed The Morning Show for a fifth season. Season four, premiering September 17, opens in spring 2024, almost two years after the events of season three. With the UBA-NBN merger complete, the newsroom must grapple with newfound responsibility, hidden motives and the elusive nature of truth in a polarized America. In a world rife with deepfakes, conspiracy theories and corporate cover-ups – who can you trust? And how can you know what’s actually real? Along with Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon, the upcoming fourth season stars Billy Crudup, Mark Duplass, Nestor Carbonell, Karen Pittman, Greta Lee, Nicole Beharie and Jon Hamm. Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell: Deathwatch premieres October 14 on Netflix. Sam Fisher is back and this time, the mission is personal. In this first-ever adaptation of the acclaimed stealth video game franchise Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell, legendary agent Sam Fisher is drawn back into the field when a wounded young operative seeks out his help. It stars Liev Schreiber as Sam Fisher and Kirby Howell-Baptiste as new Splinter Cell agent Zinnia McKenna.

Based on the hit global format, each standalone episode follows a different Real Housewife and real wife as they navigate swapping their everyday comforts and luxuries to fully immerse themselves in a vastly different familial experience. Paramount+ has renewed Tulsa King for a fourth season. The renewal comes ahead of its third season premiere September 21. As Dwight’s empire expands, so do his enemies and the risks to his crew. BritBox has announced additional cast for its upcoming series Agatha Christie’s Tommy & Tuppence. The series is a six-part contemporary adaptation of the Agatha Christie novels and short stories. Joining the previously announced Antonia Thomas, Josh Dylan and Imelda Staunton are Nicholas Richardson, Charlie Condou, Callie Cooke, Chizzy Akudolu, and Sebastian De Souza.
Natalee Linez has been cast in CBS’ upcoming new series CIA. She joins Tom Ellis, Nick Gehlfuss and Michael Michele in the FBI spinoff series set to premiere at midseason. The series is centered on two unlikely partners – a fast-talking, rule-breaking loose cannon CIA case officer, and a by-the-book, seasoned and smart FBI agent who believes in the rule of law. When this odd couple are assigned to work out of CIA’s New York Station, they must learn to work together to investigate cases and criminals posing threats on U.S. soil, finding that their differences may actually be their strength.
Tanner Zagarino has been cast in hulu’s upcoming NFL drama series from Dan Fogelman. He joins previously cast Christopher Meloni, Sam Corlett, William H. Macy and Mandy Moore.

ESPN and the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL), the top professional women’s soccer league in the United States, today announced a supplemental media rights agreement that expands ESPN’s coverage of the league for the 2026 and 2027 seasons. Under the agreement, ABC and ESPN networks will carry 16 more regular-season games each year, increasing the total number of NWSL matches available on The Walt Disney Company networks from 17 to 33 per season. The centerpiece of this agreement is the launch of NWSL’s “Match of the Week” series throughout the season on ABC or ESPN networks, as well as the live presentation of NWSL’s Decision Day games – eight matches played concurrently on the last match day of the season. The new, expanded deal nearly doubles the regular season schedule for NWSL on ESPN, creating more excitement for fans and greater exposure for teams, athletes, and partners. The supplemental agreement complements ESPN’s four-year U.S. media rights relationship with the NWSL announced in November 2023. ABC and ESPN will continue to present the NWSL playoffs, featuring two quarterfinal matches and one semifinal match.
Versant announced it has acquired media rights for League One Volleyball (LOVB), bringing the premier women’s professional volleyball league in the U.S. to a national primetime audience on USA Network starting January 2026. Under the multi-year agreement, USA Network will exclusively air the league’s Match of the Week in primetime on Wednesday nights at 8 p.m. ET. The agreement also provides for live primetime coverage of the league’s playoffs, including the 2026 LOVB Championship Match where the champions will be crowned live on USA Network.
ESPN has reached a multi-year extension with Malika Andrews. The Sports Emmy Award-winning host and reporter will continue to have a year-round presence as the host of NBA Countdown, NBA Today and the NBA Draft on ESPN. Additionally, ESPN is expanding Andrews’ on-air presence with a package of NBA sideline reporter assignments. Recently, Andrews was named host of WNBA Countdown on ESPN.
Netflix’s NFL Christmas Gameday is back with a new line-up of on-air booth talent in Washington, D.C. and Minneapolis, Minnesota. Live from Washington, D.C. for the Dallas Cowboys vs. Washington Commanders will be play-by-play announcer Ian Eagle (play-by-play announcer, CBS Sports and Amazon Prime Video) and game analysts Nate Burleson (former NFL wide receiver, analyst on THE NFL Today on CBS and CBS Mornings co-host) and Matt Ryan (former NFL quarterback, CBS Sports). The Cowboys/Commanders will air at 1 pm ET from Northwest Stadium in Landover, Maryland. Live from Minneapolis, Minnesota for the Detroit Lions vs. Minnesota Vikings will be play-by-play announcer Noah Eagle (play-by-play announcer, NBC Sports) and game analyst Drew Brees (former Super Bowl-winning quarterback). The Lions/Vikings will air at 4:30 pm ET from the U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
NBC Sports announced today the debut of “On the Bench,” a production innovation to be used exclusively for games streaming on Peacock NBA Monday that dedicates one analyst to each team and positions that analyst courtside with their team. The unique approach and unprecedented access allow each commentator to cover the game through the lens of the team they’re assigned. An industry first, “On the Bench” will be used exclusively for the 23 Peacock NBA Monday games this season. Rather than sitting next to the play-by-play voice, the analysts will be positioned near the assistant coaches of their assigned team during the action, listening in on huddles and timeouts, and delivering information straight from the bench. Each analyst will also be immersed with their team leading up to the game, spending time at shootarounds, and speaking with players and coaches during pregame locker room availability. “On the Bench” will debut on Peacock NBA Monday beginning Oct. 27 when Donovan Mitchell and the Cleveland Cavaliers visit Cade Cunningham and the Detroit Pistons at 7 p.m. ET. NBC Sports NBA play-by-play announcer Noah Eagle will call the action with Robbie Hummel and Austin Rivers as analysts. Hummel will be dedicated to the Pistons while Rivers will be immersed with the Cavaliers.
Prime Video will debut as a domestic broadcaster of the Masters Tournament next April. Prime Video will complement the live Tournament coverage delivered annually by CBS Sports and ESPN. Beginning with the 2026 Masters Tournament, two additional hours of first and second round coverage will be offered both days on Prime Video. The Masters will stream live on Prime Video from 1:00 – 3:00 PM ET on Thursday, April 9 and Friday, April 10, leading into ESPN’s broadcast coverage on both days from 3:00 – 7:30 PM ET. The CBS Television Network will air the Masters live from 2:00 – 7:00 PM ET on Saturday, April 11 and Sunday, April 12, preceded each day by live streaming coverage on Paramount+ from 12:00 – 2:00 PM ET .
ESPN announced its wall-to-wall, week-long WWE coverage plans to culminate with its first WWE Premium Live Event Wrestlepalooza streaming exclusively for fans with a subscription to the ESPN Unlimited plan – either directly or through a traditional pay TV package – on the ESPN App in the U.S. on Saturday, September 20, at 7 p.m. ET. WWE‘s pre-and post-event shows for Wrestlepalooza will also be available on the ESPN App. The PLE pre-show begins at 5 p.m. and the post-event show commences immediately following the conclusion of Wrestlepalooza.
