ABC has ordered The Rookie: North to series. The series introduces Alex Holland who believed his midlife wasn’t worthy of a crisis. But after a violent home invasion ignites a dormant purpose, Alex battles a lifetime of failed commitments by joining the Pierce County Police Department as a rookie. Policing from the urban coast to the rural forest where backup isn’t just five minutes away, Alex must prove to his skeptical training officer, his fellow rookies and himself, that he’s finally found something worthy of the fight. The all-new series stars Jay Ellis, Janet Montgomery, Karen Fukuhara, Chris Sullivan, Froy Gutierrez, Mya Lowe and Malik Watson. 

Prime Video has renewed Reacher for a fifth season. The renewal comes ahead of the fourth season premiere. Season Four will continue the high-stakes storytelling that has made Reacher a standout global hit, with Alan Ritchson reprising his role as Jack Reacher. Additional details on the upcoming season will be announced at a later date. Based on the 13th book in Lee Child’s global best-selling series, Gone Tomorrow, in the fourth season of the action-packed series, when a chance encounter with a distraught stranger on a subway goes horribly wrong, Jack Reacher is drawn into a complex and deadly game that pits him against ruthless foes from the highest echelons of power. New to the cast this season are Chris Marquette, Sydelle Noel, AGNEZ MO, Anggun, Kevin Weisman, Marc Blucas, Kevin Corrigan, and Kathleen Roberston. 

The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power returns for season three November 11 on Prime Video. The series follows an ensemble cast of characters, both familiar and new, as they confront the long-feared re-emergence of evil to Middle-earth. From the darkest depths of the Misty Mountains to the majestic forests of the elf capital of Lindon, to the breathtaking island kingdom of Númenor, to the farthest reaches of the map, these kingdoms and characters will carve out legacies that live on long after they are gone. Jumping forward several years from the events of Season Two, Season Three takes place at the height of the War of the Elves and Sauron, as the Dark Lord seeks to craft the One Ring that will give him the edge he needs to win the war, bind all peoples to his will – and at last rule all Middle-earth. 

Prime Video has renewed Jury Duty for a third season. The comedy series follows an unsuspecting person who doesn’t realize they’re the subject of a series where everyone around them is an actor. 

Little House on the Prairie premieres July 9 on Netflix. Part hopeful family drama, part epic survival tale, and part origin story of the American West, this fresh adaptation of Laura Ingalls Wilder’s iconic semi-autobiographical Little House books offers a kaleidoscopic view of the struggles and triumphs of those who shaped the frontier. 

Anna Pigeon will premiere on USA Network August 7. The series follows Anna Pigeon (Tracy Spiridakos), a former city slicker who became a park ranger after a devastating loss changed the trajectory of her life forever. While Anna tries to outrun her demons, her focus turns to solving crimes that have taken place within national park grounds, no matter who or what gets in her way. The series also stars Ronnie Rowe as Frederick Stanton, an FBI agent and charismatic wanderer who chases crimes through national parks and keeps his cool, except when it comes to Anna; and Paulina Alexis as Zoey Bear Child, a young ranger coming into her own who looks to Anna as a mentor. Melanie Scrofano joins the series as Bethany Lopez, the wife of park ranger Manny Lopez (Manuel Rodriguez-Saenz), who is working to find her place within the ranger community. Additional cast members include Tricia Helfer, Kim Coates, Cooper Levy, Jordan Sledz, Ryan Northcott, Crystle Lightning and Nikki Hallow. 

Season five of Sweet Magnolias premieres June 11 on Netflix. Maddie isn’t the only one grappling with the demands of a new job in Season 5. Multiple citizens of Serenity seek balance and happiness while chasing dreams, navigating old and new relationships, and redefining what they want from themselves and each other. From Serenity to New York and beyond, the Magnolias meet challenges with passion, humor, love — and margaritas.

The Five Star Weekend premieres on Peacock July 9. The series is centered on Hollis Shaw, a famed cook and best-selling author known for her delicious recipes, impeccable taste, and warm demeanor, who suffers a devastating loss. Unable to move forward, the death starts to expose the cracks in Hollis’s picture-perfect life – her strained marriage, her complicated relationship with her daughter, and her growing pursuit of validation from her fans. In an effort to overcome grief and find herself again, Hollis gets the idea to host a weekend away at her house on Nantucket with three friends from different stages in her life: her childhood, her twenties, thirties, and one surprise fifth star. Set against a luxurious and coastal backdrop, the stars will mature in ways they could never imagine as boundaries are pushed and secrets are exposed. 

Prime Video has ordered Escorted to series. The eight-episode, half-hour single-camera comedy stars Brett Goldstein. A divorced dad in Manhattan accidentally becomes a male escort in this romantic comedy about sexual dynamic, keeping secrets, and whether real intimacy can ever be bought. 

On May 21, ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live will air an encore episode. The episode will air at the same time as the series finale of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on CBS

Action comedy Ride or Die premieres July 15 on Prime Video with all eight episodes. The series stars Octavia Spencer and Hannah Waddingham. The series follows best friends Debbie Claybourne (Octavia Spencer) and Judith Burton (Hannah Waddingham) who thought they knew everything about each other, except Judith turns out to be an international assassin. When a mysterious figure emerges from Judith’s past and a hit goes horribly wrong, both of their worlds are turned upside down as they’re forced to go on the run together. It’s a race against time and a road trip across Europe, with law enforcement, highly trained assassins, and some very dangerous criminals at their heels. 

The Paper will return for season two this September on Peacock. The series stars Domhnall Gleeson, Sabrina Impacciatore and Oscar Nuñez 

Season two of The Terminal List will premiere on Prime Video October 21 with all eight episodes. The Terminal List centers on Navy SEAL Commander “James Reece” (Chris Pratt) as he battles unknown conspiratorial forces seeking to upend the world order. This season comes from Jack Carr’s second novel, True Believer, where he puts “James Reece” on a journey of violent redemption, finding a new purpose after finishing his list. The psychological revenge thriller of Season One opens up into a globe-trotting espionage thriller taking Reece across the Indian Ocean, Southern and Northern Africa, the Middle East, and Europe. Joined by returning fan favorites like “Raife Hastings” (Tom Hopper), “Katie Buranek” (Constance Wu), “Mohammed Farooq” (Dar Salim), “Jules Landry” (Luke Hemsworth) and newcomers like “Freddy Strain” (Gabriel Luna), Reece will uncover a conspiracy that reaches from Moscow to Langley and ties into his own family’s history. 

Peacock has announced that Ciara Miller and Tefi Pessoa will be the co-hosts of this upcoming season of Love Island USA’s companion series Aftersun; a third season of Love Island Games launches next year with Ariana Madix returning as host; along with a gripping true crime documentary The Wolves of Real Estate: The Alexander Brothers. These series accompany previously announced new seasons of bonafide hits Love Island USA season eight (June 2), Married At First Sight season 20 (Summer 2026), and a second season of Nelly and Ashanti: We Belong Together (Fall 2026). Additionally, season six of The Traitors is set to launch early next year. 

Aaron Paul has been cast in the upcoming third season of Prime Video’s Fallout. Additionally, Annabel O’Hagan and Dave Register have been upped to series regulars for season three, alongside Frances Turner who was upped to series regular in season two and remains a regular.

VERSANT today announced the expansion of its programming slate across its Entertainment and Sports portfolio, E!, Oxygen True Crime, SYFY, USA Network and Golf Channel, with new and renewed scripted and unscripted programming and live sports and events. Oxygen True Crime has greenlit new series Killer DNA with Maury Povich and Snapped: Rich Bitch Rampage, hosted by Lisa Vanderpump. The network has also picked up new seasons of hit series Killer Grannies hosted by June Squibb, Prosecuting Evil with Kelly Siegler and The Death Investigator with Barbara Butcher. SYFY has announced that season three of The Ark will premiere on Wednesday, July 29. E! continues to be the go-to destination for live events, award shows and entertainment coverage. People’s Choice Awards will return to the network, along with Critics Choice Awards and continued Live from E! red carpet coverage. The network also greenlit new reality competition series Cocktail Wars hosted by Lance Bass and Joey Fatone. 

Prime Video has ordered Fourth Wing to series, based on the book series by Rebecca Yarros. Violet Sorrengail is forced by her mother to enter the brutal world of Basgiath War College. Violet joins hundreds of candidates striving to become the elite of Navarre: dragon riders. 

Bravo has ordered new series Vanderpump Rules: Lisa Las Vegas and Secrets, Lies, Texas Wives. Bravo has ordered season renewals of many of its beloved docuseries, including The Real Housewives of Rhode Island (s2), The Valley: Persian Style (s2), Wife Swap: The Real Housewives Edition (s2), Below Deck Down Under (s5), Married to Medicine (s13), Southern Charm (s12), Summer House (s11), The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City (s7), Top Chef (s24), along with previously announced seasons of “Below Deck” (s13), “The Real Housewives of Potomac” (s11), “The Real Housewives of New York City” (s16), “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” (s15), and “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen” (s24). As previously announced, Jeff Lewis returns to Bravo with “Still Flipping Out,” set to premiere later in 2026.  

OWN has renewed Love & Marriage: Huntsville for a twelfth season. The thirty episode new season will roll out across 2026 and 2027. The series follows a dynamic group of couples and longtime friends in Huntsville, Alabama. With bold personalities and unfiltered perspectives, the series explores the realities of love, marriage, and ambition to capture the highs, the heartbreaks and the intense moments that come with building authentic relationships while pursuing excellence. 

NBC has canceled On Brand With Jimmy Fallon after one season. In the business competition series, Jimmy Fallon is joined by the On Brand Agency’s Chief Marketing Officer, Bozoma Saint John, whose storied history in the C-suite of companies such as Uber, Pepsi and Netflix makes her the perfect expert judge and mentor to the creatives during their season-long competition. 

Nia DaCosta will direct the pilot and second episode of Prime Video’s Sex Criminals. The series is based on the comic series by Matt Fraction and Chip Zdarsky. Recent casting includes Imogen Poots as ‘Suze’ and John Reynolds as ‘Jon.’ Suze is a normal girl with an extraordinary ability: when she has sex, she stops time. One night, she meets Jon…who has the same gift. And so they do what any other sex having, time stopping couple would do: they rob banks.

Ben Kingsley, Max Minghella and Pekka Strang have been cast in The White Lotus. The three will recur in the fourth season of the HBO series. 

Prime Video had ordered Rose Hill to series. Based on the book series by Elsie Silver, the series follows best friends and neighbors West Belmont, a rancher with commitment issues, and brooding record label owner Ford Grant, aka Forbes’ “World’s Hottest Billionaire,” who’s long carried a torch for West’s sister, Rosie. And when country-pop star Skylar Stone breezes into their rugged mountain town, the heat gets turned way up in this romantic family drama. 

HGTV’s Battle on the Beach will head to the Grand Strand, South Carolina’s hot vacation destination, in its latest seven-episode season premiering June 1. HGTV stars Sarah Baeumler, Mika Kleinschmidt and Ty Pennington will each mentor a two-person team of promising renovators as they vie to transform lackluster beachfront vacation properties – and the biggest homes in Battle on the Beach history – into stunning waterfront escapes that deliver top reviews and top dollar. Armed with $100,000, seven weeks and invaluable advice from their respected mentors, the teams will overhaul the dated digs while navigating unprecedented design challenges, including repurposing discarded roadside finds in their homes and swapping partners for the chance at additional prize money. Husband-and-wife renovation duo Tristyn and Kamohai Kalama will determine which team increases the rental value of each week’s revamped space, with the winner given a critical choice: take home $3,000 now or apply $6,000 to the final grand prize. When the stunning renos are complete, the team who clinches the highest peak season rate for their short-term rental will claim a cash prize of at least $50,000, with their mentor boasting ultimate bragging rights. 

Reality Retreat will premiere on Prime Video in 2027. The reality series brings together eleven of reality television’s most recognizable and talked-about women for a high-stakes wellness retreat designed to challenge their identities, relationships, and personal growth. Set in a tropical location, the series follows a group of women whose lives in the spotlight have made them icons, villains, and tabloid fixtures. Removed from their comfort zones, they embark on an immersive experience centered on healing, accountability, and transformation. Through intense wellness rituals, unfiltered truth-telling exercises, and emotionally charged confrontations, each participant must reckon with who they are beyond their public persona – as chaos, comedy, and catharsis unfold in equal measure. At the retreat, growth is not guaranteed. Old habits resurface, alliances fracture, and egos collide. With their place in the experience constantly at risk, each woman must decide whether to embrace evolution, or leave unchanged. The series features an ensemble cast including former Housewives stars Kenya Moore, Margaret Josephs, and Kim Zolciak; reality standouts Christine Quinn, Brittany Cartwright, and Tamar Braxton; Bachelorette fan-favorites Kaitlyn Bristowe and Jenn Tran; mother-daughter duo Julie and Savannah Chrisley; as well as Hilaria Baldwin. 

Riley Green has joined The Voice as a coach. Green will join Adam Levine and Kelly Clarkson as coaches in the upcoming season 30. A fourth coach will be announced later. 

David Arquette, Stella Baker, Jodi Balfour, Kim Dickens, Troy Garity, Jerod Haynes, Michael “Killer Mike” Render, Holland Taylor, and William Zabk have been cast in Scarpetta. The nine will all appear in the upcoming second season of the Prime Video series. 

Television host Keiana Martin has joined ESPN as an anchor for SportsCenter. She will begin work in May. 

Docuseries Last Train to North America premieres May 12 on ESPN Deportes and ESPN2, with two new episodes debuting weekly. Hosted by ESPN’s renowned journalist, Martin Ainstein, the nine-episode series follows a unique rail journey across the United States, Mexico and Canada as the three nations prepare to jointly host the biggest sporting event of the summer. The series will debut a new episode every Monday.

NBC Sports has acquired an additional NFL regular-season game to be played on Saturday, Jan. 2, 2027, on NBC and Peacock. The extra game on NBC Sports’ schedule will be an afternoon matchup on NBC and Peacock at 4:30 p.m. ET on Jan. 2, and will be followed by the Peacock NFL Exclusive at 8 p.m. ET. With the two Saturday games and Sunday Night Football on Jan. 3, NBCUniversal will be home to three Week 17 games as playoff races and positioning become more heated. 

Roku has become the North American streaming home for the inaugural Enhanced Games on May 24. The Enhanced Games are an elite sports competition that aims to celebrate athletic excellence while exploring the limits of human performance. Combining scientific innovation, medically approved performance enhancement usage, and a deep commitment to athlete welfare, the Enhanced Games will be a first-of-its-kind sporting event, available for free on the Roku Sports Channel. 

Calabasas Confidential premieres May 29 on Netflix. After graduating college, a group of lifelong friends, foes, and exes return to Calabasas for a summer they’ll never forget. The new season of People Magazine Investigates: Surviving a Serial Killer premieres June 2 on ID. In partnership with PEOPLE Magazine’s award-winning true crime reporting team, the new season will feature six gripping episodes unpacking the real-life, harrowing accounts of survivors who crossed paths with serial killers and lived to share their story.
