USA Network has ordered medical drama Diplomatic Immunity to series. The series centers on a young American doctor who is suddenly assigned to the medical office at the U.S. Embassy in Rome. He finds himself encountering challenging medical cases that require him to navigate diplomacy, government personalities and geopolitical situations – all while managing the romantic entanglements set against the thrill of a new life in a new country.
HGTV has ordered Let’s Go Back to Your Place. Tyler Cameron hosts as wingman for singletons looking for love in potential suitors’ most personal spaces. In each episode, Tyler will guide one hopeful romantic on three house tours looking for design clues that reveal more about the people that live there. Sight unseen, they’ll choose their blind date based on nothing but the story their home tells. The series will premiere in 2027.

Survivor will unveil the new castaways who will compete against each other in the 51st edition of the series in a livestream on its official YouTube channel August 26 at 1:00 PM, ET/10:00 AM, PT. The series returns for its 51st season with a two-hour episode on September 23. During the livestream, viewers will meet the new castaways and will also be treated to a first-look tour of the Survivor 51 Tribal Council by host and showrunner Jeff Probst.
Peacock has ordered docuseries Clap If You Care: The Wendy Williams Show. The three part series celebrates the outrageous fun, cultural impact and meteoric rise of The Wendy Williams Show, and is set to air in 2027. Skyrocketing from unlikely beginnings as a radio host to her impact on entertainment culture, Williams redefined the daytime talk genre with her outrageous on-screen fun on the long-running, Daytime Emmy-nominated talk show. While praising Williams’ TV reign, the documentary also sheds light on the complicated truths about the cost of fame and answers long-lingering questions surrounding the infamous exit from her own show. Over 20 former staffers from the talk show will share their behind-the-scenes experiences and memories of the pop culture icon.

Netflix and Shonda Rhimes have extended their creative partnership. Under the new multi-year overall deal, the creative partnership extends with Rhimes, her company Shondaland, and her long standing producing partner Betsy Beers. The extended partnership will give Netflix and Shondaland the opportunity to continue to exclusively produce, stream and distribute TV series, feature films and gaming while continuing merchandise and live events opportunities connected to its IP. Netflix will also continue to support Shondaland’s inclusion initiatives, such as the Ladder Program, to help train underrepresented below the line creatives.
Disney+ and ESPN today announced “Max vs 100,” a first-of-its-kind motorsport race created with Red Bull, which will stream live globally1 on ESPN on Disney+ on September 16 as part of customer’s existing subscription. The live event will see four-time Formula 1(R) World Champion and Red Bull athlete Max Verstappen attempt to overtake 100 drivers. “Max vs 100” will also stream live on the ESPN App for ESPN Unlimited subscribers in the U.S. and air on ESPN2 on delay later that day. Taking place at Silverstone, one of the sport’s most iconic circuits, 101 karts will line up on the grid at once for one of the biggest go-kart races the world has ever seen. The closed race will bring together Red Bull athletes and gaming talent, social media creators, streamers, media personalities and surprise guests from around the world as they attempt to keep the lead on Verstappen, offering a new racing format that blends elite competition with entertainment and innovation.
The FIFA Women’s World Cup 2027 Final Draw will stream LIVE exclusively on Netflix in the United States and Canada on December 11, 2026. The Final Draw will take place at the Museum of Modern Art in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The draw sets the stage for Brazil in 2027 by revealing how the 32 qualified teams will be divided into eight groups for the opening phase of the tournament, giving fans their first look at the matchups that will shape the competition. The FIFA Women’s World Cup 2027(TM) kicks off June 24, 2027 in Brazil and runs through July 25, 2027. The tournament will feature 32 national teams, 64 matches, and eight host cities across the country, crowning one world champion. ESPN and Disney+ are expanding the sports content offerings on Disney+ with the debut of College Football Saturdays this fall. Each week throughout the season, Disney+ subscribers in the U.S. can stream two ESPN/ABC college football games in addition to the Emmy Award-winning College GameDay Built by the Home Depot pregame show, which debuted on Disney+ last season. The first game available to Disney+ subscribers, as part of their existing subscription, will be the Aer Lingus College Football Classic matchup in Dublin, Ireland between North Carolina and TCU on Saturday, Aug. 29 (noon ET). Additional matchups have been announced for Sept. 5th, 12th and 19th while remaining games this season will be determined on a weekly basis.

Comedy series Brothers premieres September 23 on Apple TV. The series follows Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson, who play fictionalized versions of themselves, and whose friendship is thrown into chaos when they uncover a decades-old secret: they might actually be brothers. After Woody’s daughter’s engagement falls apart, he loads up the family and heads to Austin for an extended stay at Matthew’s ranch. But what begins as a healing getaway quickly spirals when Matthew’s mother, Ma Mac (played by Holland Taylor), accidentally lets slip a long-buried secret that the two friends might actually be brothers. Did Someone Happen to Mention Me? premieres October 22 on Netflix.
