Netflix has announced Arrivals: A New Manifest Mystery, a thrilling new sci-fi series set in the universe of Manifest. Arrivals marks a bold new chapter, introducing a new cast of characters and uncharted storylines set in a world built to captivate both Manifest superfans and newcomers alike. The news arrives on 8/28 – a date no fan of Flight 828 will overlook, and a signal that the world of Manifest is about to get bigger. When a mysterious plane crash-lands in Denver, the passengers emerge with no memory of who they are, where they came from, or why they’re here. A young social worker and a novice Homeland Security agent team up with the new arrivals in an attempt to stop a humanity-ending catastrophe, discovering along the way that they are all part of the very puzzle they’re trying to solve. The original series, Manifest, captivated audiences for three seasons on NBC before Netflix delivered its fourth and final season.
Disney+ has announced a global distribution deal with The Pokémon Company International, including a new stop-motion series Pokémon Tales: The Misadventures of Sirfetch’d & Pichu coming to audiences worldwide in 2027. Created by the acclaimed animation studio Aardman, the series will debut on Disney XD and stream exclusively on Disney+ in 2027. In the series, Sirfetch’d and Pichu embark on an epic journey through the Galar Region. Together, they set out on a gallant quest to help and protect Pokémon across the region. Their missions rarely go as planned, but their noble deeds forge their friendship as they step bravely into the unknown where peril, alliances, rivalries, extraordinary Pokémon, and endless laughs await them. The agreement also includes the beloved classic animated series Pokémon the Series: The Beginning, which began airing on Disney XD earlier this month and is now streaming on Disney+ in the U.S. and select international markets. The classic series follows Ash and Pikachu as they embark on adventures throughout the Pokémon world

Apple TV will air the first season of Small Prophets where it will premiere October 7. is a comic tale of the eccentric Michael Sleep who, since his darling Clea disappeared seven years ago, has lived a very ordinary life. He works in a DIY store, visits his dad Brian and hopes for Clea to return. One day Brian shares an old recipe involving rainwater, horse manure and more than a little alchemy. With recipe in hand, Michael sets out (albeit with some skepticism) to create homunculi – magical spirits that can predict the future – in the hope they have the answer to his burning question: “Will I ever see Clea again?” Michael gets help from his young coworker Kacey, an unlikely friendship that blossoms partly, but not wholly, through their mutual dislike of store manager Gordon. Their friendship adds to the frustration and intrigue of his nosy neighbors who are obsessed with trying to find out what the hell is going on in the garden shed.
