One Life to Live returned to fans just a few months ago, and no one was happier than longtime star and six-time Emmy winner for Outstanding Lead Actress, Erika Slezak (Viki).

The veteran actress happily noted the few, but important differences in the show since their online launch. “The only difference is we air half hour episodes now and on two times a week, which is wonderful. In terms of the work? There is no difference. We have sets, we have props, we have actors, we have stage managers and all of that stuff.”

Slezak says when she heard of Prospect Park’s renewed attempt at re-launching the online soaps, she was very excited. “I suspected that they were going to try this, even though it didn’t work out two years ago. I had a conversation with the Prospect Park people and they said we are not giving up and are going to keep trying. So when they came to me and said they were going to try it, I thought ‘great for you for really going through with it’. I was very, very pleased for them and happy to be a part of it.”

When previewing what’s to come on One Life to Live, the actress says fans should keep an eye on the character of Jeffrey. “Corbin [Bleu]’s character is going to become a very, very interesting character. He develops a lot in the coming months.”
