Fans hoping for another Steffy Forrester appearance don’t have to wait much longer! Fan favorite Jacqueline MacInnes Wood is returning to The Bold and the Beautiful in 2015!
The actress returns to the set next week to film episodes that will air at the end of January. It’s been almost a year since viewers saw Steffy, who last appeared in February. Wood opted to leave the show at the end of her contract in 2013, but continued appearing on a recurring basis.
Two months ago, Wood addressed concerns over her lack of appearances on B&B via Facebook. “As much as I love B&B and still wanted to be a part of it. Unfortunately we weren’t on the same page contractually/scheduling/etc.,” she wrote. “These things happen in this industry and I hope all my fans can understand that. I am a huge supporter of Brad Bell and the entire cast and crew. Love and kisses to all of my fans. I really do care about you all.”
She ended her post on an optimistic note, admitting that the door for a return wasn’t necessarily closed. “Hey! If characters can be recast, shot, fall down elevator shafts and come back to life months/years later lol then never say never. XOXO Love u all and will definitely keep [you] posted on future projects.”
Luckily for us all, things seemed to work out. Though Jacqueline MacInnes Wood is only slated to appear in a handful of episodes, this is still a good thing! Hopefully she can continue to appear on the show as her schedule permits. Seeing a familiar face will be good after fans lose Hope (Kim Matula opted to leave the show) next month.
I’m not a Steffy fan but I would like see her with Wyatt if and when she stays on the soap more.
