Hot Topics

Hollyoaks will air a story showing Ste radicalized by the far right. We are excited to see them tackle such a timely story, but concerned about how far they are willing to go.

Hollyoaks (11:05)

The rest of Romeo’s family rolls into town. What are our thoughts on Juliet and Donna Marie? Also, Prince can’t handle the fear he might have testicular cancer and inadvertently pushes Romeo and Lily into bed. Meanwhile, another (wrong) McQueen has been arrested for Russ’ murder.

The Young and the Restless (20:28)

Tessa gives up her blackmail scheme for Mariah to come back home while still holding on to her insurance policy sewn into a teddy bear- We finally see a glimpse of Devon’s pain as he’s the last remaining Winters standing. But what took so long and how do we invest in Ana’s return after the treatment of everyone else her complexion?

General Hospital (31:36)

Ava tried to set up Griffin, but Kiki figured it out. Why can Ava never win? She needs to form an alliance with Ryan. Speaking of, when is Ryan going to kill someone of significance? Kim is a terrible character with little to no purpose… still.

The Bold and the Beautiful (44:14)

Everyone is obsessed with Eric’s penis and where it belongs and we can’t understand why. Also something that’s beyond our understanding, the annual purge of all animosity and strife between characters in order to sit around a table on Thanksgiving and fake the funk. This is one antiquated tradition that needs to stop.

Days of our Lives (51:05)

Paul leaves town with some hot chocolate at his side. Also leaving town with zero fan fair is Valerie. Much like the exit of Kyler Pettis, there’s been no announcement or interest in her sudden departure amongst the soap press. Tripp and Ciara are finally over, but so is the Ben/Claire alliance.

Closing (01:14:36)

  1. Ciara & Ben in this younger crowd feels weird to me. I don’t know how they should go about it or where they should fit them in. I just don’t like how it brings their maturity level down like they’re a teen romance. They should actually talk about the age gap and use it as an obstacle.
