Selena Gomez: My Mind & Me will premiere on Apple TV+ November 4. After years in the limelight, Selena Gomez achieves unimaginable stardom. But just as she reaches a new peak, an unexpected turn pulls her into darkness. This uniquely raw and intimate documentary spans her six-year journey into a new light.  As a recording artist, Gomez has sold more than 210 million singles worldwide and amassed over 45 billion global streams of her music. This year, she received a Grammy nomination for her first all-Spanish EP and an Emmy nomination for her role in the critically acclaimed and award-winning series Only Murders in the Building, in which she stars opposite Steve Martin and Martin Short. The announcement was made today, on World Mental Health Day, in support of global mental health education and awareness, as Selena bravely shares her own journey in this revealing film. 

Season 4 Part 1 of Doom Patrol premieres December 8 on HBO Max. New episodes will run through January 5. Part 2 will premiere later in 2023. 

Star Trek: Discovery will return for season five on Paramount+ in 2023. Callum Keith Rennie, Elias Toufexis and Eve Harlow have joined the new season. In season five, Captain Burnham and the crew of the U.S.S. Discovery uncover a mystery that sends them on an epic adventure across the galaxy to find an ancient power whose very existence has been deliberately hidden for centuries. But there are others on the hunt as well … dangerous foes who are desperate to claim the prize for themselves and will stop at nothing to get it. 

NBC has ordered six additional episodes of its new drama series Quantum Leap. The additional episode order brings its season one total to 18 episodes. It’s been nearly 30 years since Dr. Sam Beckett stepped into the Quantum Leap accelerator and vanished. Now, a new team, led by physicist Ben Song, has been assembled to restart the project in hope of understanding the mysteries behind the machine and the man who created it.  Everything changes, however, when Ben makes an unauthorized leap into the past, leaving the team behind to solve the mystery of why he did it. At Ben’s side throughout his leaps is Addison, who appears in the form of a hologram only Ben can see and hear. She’s a decorated Army veteran who brings level-headed precision to her job.

Tom Welling has joined the cast of The CW’s Supernatural prequel series The Winchesters. Welling will recur as as Samuel Campbell, Mary’s dad and the patriarch of the Campbell Hunting family.

Disney Channel has renewed Marvel’s Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur for a second season ahead of its series premiere February 10. The series follows the adventures of 13 year old super genius Lunella Lafayette and her 10-ton T-Rex, Devil Dinosaur, whom she accidentally brings through time into present day New York City. Equipped with Devil’s fierce loyalty and brawn, the loving support of her family and best friend Casey, Lunella sets out to make a difference and protect her Lower East Side neighborhood from danger. 

The Walking Dead: Dead City will premiere on AMC in April 2023. The six episode first season follows Maggie and Negan characters traveling into a post-apocalyptic Manhattan long ago cut off from the mainland. The crumbling city is filled with the dead and denizens who have made New York City their own world full of anarchy, danger, beauty, and terror. 

FX’s new series Kindred will premiere on hulu December 13 with all eight episodes. Adapted from the novel “Kindred” by Octavia E. Butler, the series centers on Dana James, a young Black woman and aspiring writer who has uprooted her life of familial obligation and relocated to Los Angeles, ready to claim a future that, for once, feels all her own. But, before she can settle into her new home, she finds herself being violently pulled back and forth in time. She emerges at a nineteenth-century plantation, a place remarkably and intimately linked with Dana and her family. An interracial romance threads through Dana’s past and present, and the clock is ticking as she struggles to confront secrets she never knew ran through her blood, in this genre-breaking exploration of the ties that bind. 

Damon Wayans and Damon Wayans Jr. are set to star in a multicamera comedy project set at CBS. The potential series would see the two as a father and son who the father tries to help mold into an adult as he approaches 40. 

John Stamos and Katelynn Tarver have been cast in Amazon Freevee’s pilot Open Book inspired by Jessica Simpson’s memoir. The potential half hour series will be a coming of age story following a young pop star. 

Peacock is developing a series based on the 1996 movie Fear. The series would be a romantic cat and mouse thriller. 

TBS will be the exclusive home of the 2022 American League Division Series and American League Championship Series presented by loanDepot, with coverage of both best-of-five ALDS Game 1s beginning tomorrow, Tuesday, Oct. 11. TBS’ 16th consecutive year of MLB Postseason coverage will lead off with the MLB on TBS Leadoff pregame show at 3 p.m. ET, followed by the Seattle Mariners at Houston Astros at 3:30 p.m. and the Cleveland Guardians vs. New York Yankees at 7:30 p.m. 

Jodie Whittaker’s final episode of Doctor Who will air October 23 on BBC America. Ncuti Gatwa will take over the role as the Doctor following her departure with showrunner Russell T Davies also returning. 

Fred Armisen will portray Uncle Fester on Netflix’s upcoming series Wednesday. The series follows Wednesday Addams’ years as a student at Nevermore Academy, where she attempts to master her emerging psychic ability, thwart a monstrous killing spree that has terrorized the local town, and solve the murder mystery that embroiled her parents 25 years ago – all while navigating her new and very tangled relationships at Nevermore.

The season finale of The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power will being streaming October 14. The series takes place in the fabled Second Age of Middle-earth’s history. Set thousands of years before the events of J.R.R. Tolkien’s “The Hobbit” and “The Lord of the Rings” books, the series take viewers back to an era in which great powers were forged, kingdoms rose to glory and fell to ruin, unlikely heroes were tested, hope hung by the finest of threads, and the greatest villain that ever flowed from Tolkien’s pen threatened to cover all the world in darkness. 

Part 1 of Season 4 of Titans premieres November 3 on HBO Max. The new season will introduce new and familiar characters. Part 2 will premiere in 2023. 

Prime Video’s The Peripheral premieres October 21 with episodes premiering weekly through December 9. The series is based on the novel of the same name by William Gibson. The series centers on Flynne Fisher, a woman trying to hold together the pieces of her broken family in a forgotten corner of tomorrow’s America. Flynne is smart, ambitious, and doomed. She has no future; until the future comes calling for her. The Peripheral is master storyteller William Gibson’s dazzling, hallucinatory glimpse into the fate of mankind – and what lies beyond. 

The third and final season of Star Trek: Picard premieres February 16 on Paramount+. Amanda Plummer, Mica Burton, and Ashlei Sharpe Chestnut will recur. Daniel Davis will also return as Professor Moriarty from Star Trek: The Next Generation.

Season two of Prime Video’s The Wheel of Time is coming soon. Set in a sprawling, epic world where magic exists and only certain women are allowed to access it, the story follows Moiraine, a member of the incredibly powerful all-female organization called the Aes Sedai, as she arrives in the small town of Two Rivers. There, she embarks on a dangerous, world-spanning journey with five young men and women, one of whom is prophesied to be the Dragon Reborn, who will either save or destroy humanity.  

Teen Wolf: The Movie will premiere on Paramount+ January 26. A full moon rises in Beacon Hills and with it a terrifying evil has emerged. The wolves are howling once again, calling for the return of banshees, werecoyotes, hellhounds, kitsunes and every other shapeshifter in the night. But only a werewolf like Scott McCall, no longer a teenager yet still an alpha, can both gather new allies and reunite trusted friends to fight back against what could be the most powerful and deadliest enemy they’ve ever faced. 

Nickelodeon’s SpongeBob Universe crossover event, SpongeBob SquarePants Presents The Tidal Zone will premiere November 25. SpongeBob SquarePants, The Patrick Star Show, and Kamp Koral: SpongeBob’s Under Years will all take part in the event. 

Star Trek: Prodigy returns for its midseason premiere on Paramount+ October 27. Ronny Cox will reprise his role as Admiral Edward Jellico from Star Trek: The Next Generation. 

Season four of The Dragon Prince will premiere on Netflix November 3. Titled The Dragon Prince: Mystery of Aaravos, an extraordinary discovery inspires two human princes and an elven assassin to team up on an epic quest to bring peace to their warring lands.

Transformers: EarthSpark will premiere on Paramount+ November 11. The new series introduces a new generation of Transformers robots–the first to be born on Earth–and together with the human family who welcomes them in and cares for them, they’ll redefine what it means to be a family. 

The CW Network is answering United States Surgeon General Dr. Vivek H. Murthy’s call to tackle the number one issue facing American youth – mental health – by launching a new ongoing mental health initiative to help raise awareness of the multifaceted issue and engage its audience in efforts to be part of the solution.  The CW has also teamed up with world-renowned recording artist Stevie Wonder, who performed live at The CW’s Upfront presentation in May, to use his song “Where is Our Love Song” as the official soundtrack of the “Dare to Love, Defy Hate” initiative. The song’s message of humanity, togetherness and peace serves as a call to action for all generations to do their part in promoting the theme of love and harmony throughout the world. The network plans to incorporate Mental Health storylines within All American, All American: Homecoming, Nancy Drew, Superman & Lois, Walker, and Walker Independence.
