Vikings: Valhalla will be ending with its upcoming third season. The series is a sequel to Vikings and chronicles the heroic adventures of some of the most famous Vikings who ever lived – the legendary explorer Leif Eriksson, his fiery and headstrong sister Freydis Eriksdotter, and the ambitious Nordic prince Harald Sigurdsson. The final season will air in 2024. 

Fox has canceled Welcome To Flatch after two seasons. When a documentary crew sets out to explore the lives of residents in a small American town – their dreams, their concerns – they stumble upon the midwestern town of Flatch, which is made up of many eccentric personalities. It’s a place you want to visit and maybe even stay. If there was a decent motel. Which there is not.

Netflix has renewed Castlevania: Nocturne for a second season. The series is the next installment of the Castlevania universe, picking up 300 years after the end of the original Castlevania series, which ran for four seasons on Netflix. The series is based on the classic Konami video game series. France, 1792 – the height of the French Revolution. In a remote part of western France, the counter-revolutionary aristocracy has forged an alliance with a terrifying Vampire Messiah, who promises to ‘eat the sun’ and unleash an army of vampires and nightcreatures to crush the revolution and enslave humanity. Annette, a sorceress from the Caribbean, seeks out Richter Belmont, last descendant of the long-fabled family of vampire hunters, to lead the resistance. 

American Horror Story spinoff series American Horror Stories is an anthology series that will feature a different horror story each episode. The four episode Huluween event premieres October 26. More dark and twisted tales are coming soon! 

Food Network ushers in the holidays with over 50 hours of festive series. Christmas Cookie Challenge returns for a new eight episode season November 2. Holiday Wars returns Novemebr 5. Holiday Baking Championship is back November 6. Beat Bobby Flay: Holiday Throwdown returns November 7. The Elf on the Shelf: Sweet Showdown hosted by Duff Goldman premieres November 19. Selena + Chef: Home for the Holidays premieres November 30. Viewers can look forward to holiday-themed episodes of The Big Bake, Chopped, Guy’s Grocery Games, Kids Baking Championship, Delicious Miss Brown, Guy’s Ranch Kitchen, The Kitchen, Mary Makes it Easy and The Pioneer Woman

Star Trek and Kid Cudi are collaborating for Star Trek’s all-new “Boldly Be” campaign. Launching October 12, Kid Cudi will release a song inspired by Star Trek titled “Heaven’s Galaxy.” Fans can also join Star Trek, Kid Cudi and Fortnite as they embark on an out-of-this-world music and gaming collaboration like nothing this Galaxy has seen before! “Boldly Be” takes its inspiration from Star Trek’s ethos of IDIC (Infinite Diversity in Infinite Combinations), the basis of Vulcan philosophy that the vast variables create truth, beauty and strength. 

Creature premieres October 20 on Netflix. When tragedy befalls a reckless scientist in Ottoman-era Istanbul, his student uses untested methods to finish his work – with devastating consequences.

Lost Women of Highway 20 premieres November 5 on ID. The series is a sprawling, true-crime odyssey that begins with the disappearance of a 13-year-old Rachanda Pickle. When Rachanda disappears in 1990, detectives discover a trail of missing and murdered women along a ghostly stretch of Oregon’s US Highway 20 that goes back for decades, leading them to a killer who has been hiding in plain sight. With narration from Octavia Spencer, the docuseires asks poignant questions of our society’s treatment of women – then and now. 

Ferry: The Series premieres November 3 on Netflix. Desperate for funds, Ferry Bouman stumbles upon a golden opportunity when a high-profile bust leaves a vacant position among Brabant’s top dealers. Feds premieres November 8 on ID. The series will take viewers deep inside America’s most elite crime-fighting agency, the FBI.
