Paramount+ has canceled Halo after two seasons. The series will be shopped to other outlets in an attempt to find a new home for the series. Master Chief John-117 leads his team of elite Spartans against the alien threat known as the Covenant. As humanity’s best hope for winning the war, John-117 discovers his deep connection to a mysterious alien structure that holds the key to humankind’s salvation, or its destruction – the Halo. 

On the heels of the season premiere of Cobra Kai Season Six Part One, a new premiere date has been set for Part Two. The next episodes will now premiere two weeks earlier, on November 15. The series takes place over 30 years after the events of the 1984 All Valley Karate Tournament with the continuation of the inescapable conflict between Daniel LaRusso and Johnny Lawrence. Part three is still set to premiere in 2025. 

Dune: Prophecy premieres on HBO in November. From the expansive universe of Dune, created by acclaimed author Frank Herbert, and 10,000 years before the ascension of Paul Atreides, the six episode series follows two Harkonnen sisters as they combat forces that threaten the future of humankind, and establish the fabled sect that will become known as the Bene Gesserit. It is inspired by the novel Sisterhood of Dune, written by Brian Herbert and Kevin J. Anderson. 

The Braxtons premieres August 9 on WE tv. In this new series, the fierce Braxton women reunite for the first time since the loss of their beloved sister, Traci, offering viewers a raw and unfiltered look at the family’s highs and lows across eight captivating episodes. Toni, Towanda, Trina, Tamar and Ms. E navigate careers, health challenges and busy personal lives while growing their family bond. Toni faces a critical health challenge as she prepares for her Vegas comeback. Trina starts therapy for PTSD. Towanda battles alopecia. Tamar focuses on her wellness journey. And Ms. E’s cooking show dream is becoming a reality. However, the family reuniting continues to bring up questions and unresolved issues. Will Traci’s last wish be enough for the family to be close again, as they once were? 

Dance Moms: A New Era premieres August 7 on hulu. The series is a reboot of the ever so popular Dance Moms. This time, with a new coach, new dancers and new mama drama. Introducing beloved dance coach, Glo Hampton, who wants to take her students and prestigious dance school Studio Bleu to the next level – competing nationally every week. But the road to glory won’t be an easy one. Coach Glo must juggle her tiny but mighty dancers, their scheming moms, and ensuing meltdowns, all while ruling with a tender but tough iron fist. Will Glo and her dance team persevere amidst the dramatics? 

Dan Stevens will star in AMC’s The Terror: Devil in Silver. Stevens will play Pepper, a working-class moving man who, through a combination of bad luck and a bad temper, finds himself wrongfully committed to New Hyde Psychiatric Hospital – an institution filled with the people society would rather forget. There, he must contend with patients who work against him, doctors who harbor grim secrets, and perhaps even the very Devil himself. As Pepper navigates a hellscape where nothing is as it seems, he finds that the only path to freedom is to face down the entity which thrives on the suffering within New Hyde’s walls – but doing so may prove that the worst demons of all live inside him. The season is based on the novel by Victor LaValle. 

Emily In Paris has added more cast for its upcoming fourth season. Joining the Netflix series are Eugenio Franceschini, Thalia Besson, Rupert Everett, Anna Galiena, and Raoul Bova. Part One of season four will premiere August 15. Part Two will premiere September 12. After the dramatic events of Camille and Gabriel’s misbegotten wedding, Emily is reeling: She has strong feelings for two men, but now Gabriel’s expecting a baby with his ex, and Alfie’s worst fears about her and Gabriel have been confirmed. At work, Sylvie is forced to confront a thorny dilemma from her past for the sake of her marriage, and the Agence Grateau team navigates personnel shakeups. Mindy and the band prepare for Eurovision, but when funds run dry, they’re forced to get thrifty. Emily and Gabriel’s chemistry is undeniable as they work together towards a Michelin star, but two big secrets threaten to undo everything they’ve dreamed of. 

Karim Diané and Zoë Steiner have joined the cast of Paramount+’s Star Trek: Starfleet Academy. Diané and Steiner will play cadets, joining previously announced cadets Kerrice Brooks, Bella Shepard and George Hawkins, as well as cast members Holly Hunter as the captain and chancellor of Starfleet Academy, and Paul Giamatti as the season’s villain. The series introduces viewers to a young group of cadets who come together to pursue a common dream of hope and optimism. Under the watchful and demanding eyes of their instructors, they discover what it takes to become Starfleet officers as they navigate blossoming friendships, explosive rivalries, first loves and a new enemy that threatens both the Academy and the Federation itself. 

Niko Pepaj has been promoted to series regular on the upcoming eighth season of S.W.A.T. Pepaj has recurred on the series for the last two seasons of the CBS series which was canceled, then renewed. Also joining the series as recurring is Annie Ilonzeh. 

Limited series Senna premieres on Netflix November 29. Over the course of six episodes, the series will show for the first time ever in a scripted series Ayrton Senna’s journey through triumphs, disappointments, joys, and sorrows, revealing his personality and personal relationships. The fictional series starts at the beginning of the three-time Formula 1 champion’s motor racing career, from his early career kart years to when he leaves home to compete in Formula Ford in England, and up to his tragic accident in Imola, Italy, during the San Marino Grand Prix. 

TNT is celebrating the life and career of actress Shannen Doherty with a Charmed marathon, featuring a collection of the Best of Prue episodes. Beginning Thursday, July 18 at 6AM on TNT, the four-day marathon features 25 classic episodes, including two that were directed by Shannen Doherty: “The Good, the Bad and the Cursed” and “All Hell Breaks Loose.” 

Seven new episodes of preschool series Hop will premiere August 15 on Max. In these brand-new episodes, Hop, an enthusiastic, empathetic frog with one leg shorter than the other, and his quirky friends continue to navigate the mud puddles of life with a healthy dose of laughter, silliness, and adventure. Set in the aspirational community of Fair Village, every episode is grounded in emotional reality but soars into the world of fantasy, populated by dragons, trolls, and talking banjos. Francis Ford Coppola, Grateful Dead, Bonnie Raitt, Arturo Sandoval and The Apollo are the five Honorees who will receive the 47th Kennedy Center Honors for lifetime artistic achievements. The 47th Annual Kennedy Center Honors will air December 23 on CBS.

CBS Sports and the English Football League (EFL) announced an exclusive, multi-year, multi-platform rights agreement for CBS Sports to offer the widest distribution of EFL matches ever in the United States. CBS Sports will air at least 250 EFL matches each season across the Championship, League One, League Two, Carabao Cup and Bristol Street Motors Trophy beginning in August and continuing through the end of the 2027-28 season. Matches will air on Paramount+ with select matches airing on CBS Sports Network and CBS Sports Golazo Network. 

Matt Rife: Lucid – A Crowd Work Special premieres on Netflix August 13. In Netflix’s first-ever crowd work special, Matt gets up close and personal with his audience for a full hour of crowd work. The special was filmed at The Comedy Zone in Charlotte, NC. 

Contemporary talk show Influenced premieres August 1 on Prime Video with all ten episodes. The thirty-minute episodes will be co-hosted by popular social media personalities Achieng Agutu, Eyal Booker, Tefi Pessoa, Taryn Delanie Smith, and Cyrus Veyssi. It is an evolution of the talk show format, bridging the gap between social media and TV, led by a panel of top content creators with varying spheres of influence and interest, and featuring subject matter experts whose businesses were built across mediums. It encompasses all things lifestyle, from food, fashion, home design, travel, and beauty to entertainment, popular culture, mental health, spirituality, and wellness.

True crime series Deadly Case Files premieres July 22 on TV One. Hosted by famed detectives Vincent Velazquez and David Quinn Jr., the series will bring viewers into the heart of complex homicide investigations and showcase the unwavering dedication some of the country’s toughest detectives used to crack the case. These veteran detectives will share their stories with a captivating mix of suspense, drama, and real-life sleuthing. 

Season three of The Mallorca Files premieres on Prime Video August 8. Set on the sun-drenched and glamorous Spanish island of Mallorca, the series centers around ambitious British detective Miranda Blake and her laid-back German partner Max Winter, who make up the perfect team – if only they could see it. In Season Three, amid high-stakes adventures, treasure hunts, arson, kidnappings, and murders, Max and Miranda’s personal tensions and odd-couple partnership are put to the test. Rose Byrne, Natasia Demetriou and Post Malone will reprise their guest starring roles from the film “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem.” Joining the series as guest stars are Jillian Bell, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Timothy Olyphant and Danny Trejo. They join previously announced Micah Abbey, Shamon Brown Jr., Nicolas Cantu and Brady Noon as the Four Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Ayo Edebiri as April O’Neil and guest stars Pete Davidson and Alanna Ubach.
