Season three of Industry premieres August 11 on HBO. As Pierpoint looks to the future and takes a big bet on ethical investing, Yasmin, Robert, and Eric find themselves front and center in the splashy IPO of Lumi, a green tech energy company led by Henry Muck, in a story that runs all the way to the very top of finance, media, and government. Since leaving Pierpoint, Harper is eager to get back into the addictive thrill of finance and finds an unlikely partner in FutureDawn portfolio manager Petra Koenig. 

Dress My Tour premieres July 23 on hulu. The ten episode series hosted by supermodel and actress Kate Upton takes fans behind the curtain of the unpredictable fashion and music industries. The series follows 11 aspiring fashion designers on the raw, emotional journey of creating stunning fashion pieces worthy of the music world’s biggest names like JoJo Siwa, Paula Abdul, Toni Braxton, Ty Dolla $ign and more. As these designers compete to make their mark in the fashion and music industries, find out which one of them truly has what it takes to design for the stars and win the $100,000 prize. 

Ruairi O’Connor, Indya Moore, Ann Skelly, Douglas Booth, Freddie Fox, Laurence O’Fuarain, Clive Russell, Jack Gleeson, and Steve Coogan have officially joined the cast of The Sandman. When the Sandman, aka Dream – the powerful cosmic being who controls all our dreams – is unexpectedly captured and held prisoner for over a century, he must journey across different worlds and timelines to fix the chaos his absence has caused. Based on the beloved DC comic series written by Neil Gaiman, the series is a rich, character-driven blend of myth and dark fantasy woven together over the course of ten epic chapters following Dream’s many adventures. 

Apple TV+ has ordered The Dispatcher. Patrick Brammall will star in the series set in Australia. Police detective Ian Hunt’s life fell apart 10 years ago when his young daughter Maggie disappeared without a trace. Now working as a police dispatcher, the only thing that has kept him going is his implacable refusal to accept that she might be gone forever. When he receives a distress call from a young girl he is certain is Maggie, he will stop at nothing to find her and reunite his broken family, whatever the cost. 

Kevin Bacon and Glenn Howerton have joined the cast of Netflix’s Sirens. They join Julianne Moore, Meghann Fahy and Milly Alcock in the limited series. Devon thinks her sister Simone has a really creepy relationship with her new boss, the enigmatic socialite Michaela Kell. Michaela’s cult-ish life of luxury is like a drug to Simone, and Devon has decided it’s time for an intervention. When Devon tracks her sister down to say WTF, she has no idea what a formidable opponent Michaela will be. Told over the course of one explosive weekend at The Kells’ lavish beach estate, Sirens is an incisive, sexy, and darkly funny exploration of women, power, and class.

WE tv has ordered docuseries Wiggin’ Out with Tokyo Stylez. The famed hairstylist to the stars has carved out a prominent place for herself in the entertainment industry, earning the title of the go-to wig stylist in Hollywood. Leaving Nebraska at the age of 17 and making her move to LA from humble beginnings to becoming an A-list wig stylist, Tokyo Stylez remains focused on her career while balancing the uncertainties of her personal life. The series follows Tokyo as she takes center stage, shaping hair dreams into reality one strand at a time. This series gives viewers an inside look as Tokyo meets with, curates and installs wigs for high-profile clientele such as Cardi B, Trina Braxton, Reginae Carter, TS Madison, Tiffany “New York” Pollard, Ari Fletcher, Flo Milli and more. Each episode showcases Tokyo’s unique creative process, from the first stitch to the final transformative installation. Each wig comes with its own set of challenges, and Tokyo must balance deadlines, client demands and finding time for life outside of the salon. 

Dimitri Abold and Lewis Gribben have joined the cast of Blade Runner 2099 as series regulars. Also joining in recurring roles are Katelyn Rose Downey, Daniel Rigby, Johnny Harris, Amy Lennox, Sheila Atim, and Matthew Needham. They join Michelle Yeoh and Hunter Schafer in the Prime Video followup to the film Blade Runner 2049. 

The 2024 Nathan’s Famous Hot Dog Eating Contest returns to the iconic corner of Surf and Stillwell Avenues on Coney Island again this Fourth of July, airing on ESPN Networks. ESPN has exclusive live broadcast rights from 10:45 a.m. ET to the conclusion of the event, and marks the 21st consecutive year ESPN has televised the competition. Coverage of the women’s competition begins at 10:45 a.m. ET on ESPN3. The men’s competition airs at 12 p.m. ET on ESPN2, with re-airs at 5 p.m. ET and 9 p.m. ET on ESPN. Hosting the event will be the duo of Jeremy Schaap and Rich Shea. On-site reporting will be by Tiffany Greene. 

Season two of Baby Fever will premiere August 22 on Netflix. The fertility doctor Nana is back – now as mother to a two-month-old baby. But Nana hates being on maternity leave. Surrounded by pizza boxes, baby lullabies and sheer boredom, she makes the drastic decision to beg her old boss, Helle, to give her back her job. Helle agrees, but only if Nana can start tomorrow. Now in desperate need for a babysitter, the only option is her eccentric mother, the dansktop singer, Lisa LaCour, who as a babysitter arrangement from hell moves into Nana’s tiny apartment. At Dovi, Helle has hired a new star doctor, the flawless Hampus, who with his Swedish perfectness makes it difficult for Nana to reclaim her rockstar status at the clinic. Just when Nana thinks it can’t get any worse, she bumps into her old flame, Mathias, who still doesn’t know he’s the father to her child. More than ever, Nana feels tempted to lie, but more than ever she should tell the truth. 

ESPN has re-signed SportsCenter anchor and ESPN studio-host Gary Striewski to a new, multi-year deal. He will continue his hosting duties on SportsCenter, a position he’s been in since 2022, as well as appearing in other ESPN programs. 

Sam Morril: You’ve Changed premieres July 9 on Prime Video. Morril, in his distinct laid-back style, effortlessly riffs on the worst person he’s ever dated, the complications of getting older, and his perspective on everything from cable news to the perils of social media in this punchline-heavy comedy special. 

Season two of Another Self premieres July 11 on Netflix. As they continue to explore their ancestral traumas, Ada, Sevgi, and Leyla face life-altering decisions amid new beginnings in coastal Ayvalik.

Docuseries Teen Torture, Inc. premieres July 11 on Max. The series follows on-going efforts to expose America’s “troubled teen” industry (TTI). For six decades and counting, this billion-dollar business has used what it calls “tough love” as a form of treatment despite numerous deaths, countless suicides, life-altering injuries, and instances of child sexual abuse. Until recently, nobody has been able to stop it. The series follows a recurring band of young survivors and whistleblowers and their harrowing first-hand accounts of extreme abuse and cult-like brainwashing at the hands of these programs, starting a social media firestorm in 2021. Survivors, including rap star Bhad Bhabie, are determined to take down this business once and for all. While they have seen impressive victories, the “troubled teen” industry has long been protected by power and is not going down without a fight.
