Netflix has renewed The Diplomat for a third season. The renewal comes ahead of the second season premiere, October 31. Production is currently underway, and will take place in London and New York City. Additional Season 3 details and additional information will be shared at a later time. In the upcoming second season, a deadly explosion in the heart of London shatters US Ambassador Kate Wyler’s world. Struggling to rebuild the lives that broke and the team that split apart, Kate’s worst fears unfold: The attack that brought her to the UK didn’t come from a rival nation, it came from inside the British government. As Kate chases the truth, her only real ally is her almost-ex-husband Hal Wyler, very much alive, and very much involved. She faces a fraught marriage, a complex dynamic with British Foreign Secretary Austin Dennison, and a threatening visit from Vice President Grace Penn.

Starz has canceled The Serpent Queen after two seasons.The series is based on the book “Catherine de Medici: Renaissance Queen of France” by Leonie Frieda. A spinoff series focusing on Queen Elizabeth I is in the works. 

Netflix has renewed Nobody Wants This for a second season. An agnostic podcast host and an unconventional rabbi on the rebound walk into a party. When they walk out – together – the unlikely pair, Joanne and Noah, can tell there is something between them. But also potentially between them, with their differing outlooks on life, all of the modern obstacles to love, and their sometimes well-meaning, sometimes sabotaging families – including her sister Morgan and his brother Sasha. The new season will premiere in 2025. 

The fifth and final season of Star Trek: Lower Decks premieres October 24 on Paramount+ with the first two episodes. The crew of the U.S.S. Cerritos is tasked with closing “space potholes” – subspace rifts that are causing chaos in the Alpha Quadrant. Pothole duty would be easy for Junior Officers Mariner, Boimler, Tendi and Rutherford … If they didn’t also have to deal with an Orion war, furious Klingons, diplomatic catastrophes, murder mysteries and scariest of all: their own career aspirations. The upcoming season is a celebration of this underdog crew who are dangerously close to being promoted out of the lower decks and into strange new Starfleet roles. 

Season two of Hellbound premieres October 25 on Netflix. As the chaos deepens, lawyer Min Hyejin, The New Truth and Arrowheads get entangled anew amid the sudden resurrections of the formerly condemned. 

Jentry Chau vs. The Underworld premieres December 5 on Netflix. Slaying demons or slaying homecoming dance? Why not both?

Dragon Ball DAIMA premieres October 11 on Crunchyroll with new episodes releasing every Friday. Goku and company were living peaceful lives when they suddenly turned small due to a conspiracy! When they discover that the reason for this may lie in a world known as the “Demon Realm”, a mysterious young Majin named Glorio appears before them. This new episodic series celebrates the birth of the global Dragon Ball phenomenon— commemorating the 40th anniversary of the original manga created by Akira Toriyama that first launched in 1984 in Shueisha’s “Weekly Shonen Jump” and since then has sold an astounding 260 million copies worldwide and counting. The English dub of the series will premiere in theaters November 10, 11 and 12. 

CBS is ready for spooky season with Halloween themed episodes from fan favorite series. Enjoy special episodes of NCIS, Ghosts, Elsbeth, daytime’s The Price Is Right, The Talk, Let’s Make a Deal and The Bold and the Beautiful. 

Season two of Deal or No Deal Island will return with Joe Manganiello as host and ultimate game master. Included in the crop of players for the new season are TV veterans Parvati Shallow, Dr. Will Kirby and David Genat. These familiar faces are no strangers to the high-stakes challenges and complex mind games they’ll face on the island. All three will bring their A-game, but have their work cut out for them among a cutthroat roster of fellow players. 

Acorn TV has ordered Irish Blood to series. It follows hot-shot Los Angeles divorce lawyer, Fiona Sharpe, who receives a letter from her estranged father and sets out to uncover the mystery of his disappearance. Alicia Silverstone will star in the six episode series. 

CBS made a small change to its schedule. An encore of the second episode of The Summit will air October 11 (9:00-10:30 PM, ET/PT), following the previously scheduled original episode of Big Brother. Ghosts will air a repeat at 10:30-11:00 PM, ET/PT. 

Millennial Money returns October 13 on CNBC. Hosted by Ashton Jackson, the nine episode season puts the “personal” in personal finance. Get an inside look at the lives and finances of millennials to see exactly how much they earn, what they spend it on and how they invest. From starting a business to changing careers, getting in and out of debt, creating an unusual income stream, or casting it all aside to start over again, young people reveal the steps they took to make it happen. Including how much they get paid, what they spend on food, shelter and fun, and how they plan on saving for the future, it takes a revealing look into the one area people seem to never talk about: their money. 

Shane Smith Has Questions premieres October 17 on Vice. Host Shane Smith discusses the fascinating fundamental truths (if there are any?) of the most interesting and convoluted social and political issues of today.

Starz and BritBox launched a complementary bundle that allows new customers the ability to access both digital platforms easily from a single subscription through STARZ.com. A first-of-its-kind for the platform, the offering provides customers a seamless way to access the vast, premium libraries of both networks. The launch coincides with the debut of new series from STARZ and BritBox, offering audiences access to STARZ’s extensive lineup of premium action, thriller and female-driven programming alongside BritBox’s expertly curated selection of classic and contemporary British television. 

The season seven Love Is Blind reunion airs October 30 on Netflix. The cast will join hosts Nick and Vanessa Lachey to revisit the season’s twists and turns, share reactions to watching their stories unfold on screen, and reveal where their relationships stand today. 

Love & Marriage: Huntsville returns November 2 on OWN. The series will continue to follow the lives of a group of longtime friends and frenemies with strong personalities and opinions who live in Huntsville, Alabama: Melody Rodgers and her ex-husband Martell Holt, Maurice and Kimmi Scott, Marsau and LaTisha Scott, beauty maven Stormi Steele and her husband Courtney Beasley, community pillars Chris and Nell Fletcher, as well as Destiny Payton, plus the newest members to the group, Tricia Reedus and her partner Ken Lee, and Sunni and Moses. 

Cold Case Files: The Grim Sleeper, narrated by Regina Hall, premieres November 8 on A&E. In Los Angeles in the 1980’s, a killer terrorized South Central, murdering African American women and discarding their bodies in the street. Yet, as the victim count rose, there were few suspects leading to fear and anger in a community often overlooked by the LAPD. Eventually dubbed “The Grim Sleeper,” this notorious killer went on to terrorize the neighborhood for decades until DNA technology allowed the LAPD to close in on the perpetrator. Featuring in depth interviews with survivors and victims’ families, many speaking for the first time, as well as rare archival footage, “Cold Case Files: The Grim Sleeper” explores the personal stories of the victims who were all but forgotten by the police, the media and the community at large. 

Bank Under Siege premieres November 8 on Netflix. Three new series will premiere this fall on ID. Operation Undercover (November 12), Before They Kill Again (November 3) and Feuds Turned Fatal (November 6) will be joined by a new season of Fear Thy Neighbor (October 23).

Martha premieres on Netflix October 30. The documentary on Martha Stewart pulls back the curtain on one of America’s greatest self-made icons, from her start as a teenage model to her stint as a Wall Street stockbroker to her reign as the grand dame of entertaining and good taste.
