Twisted Metal returns for season two July 31 with the first three episodes, followed by new episodes every Thursday through August 28 . Following the revelations in the season one finale, John and Quiet find themselves entering the deadly TWISTED METAL tournament, a sinister demolition derby hosted by a mysterious man known as Calypso. As they try to survive an onslaught of dangerous new foes and familiar faces alike, including the murderous clown Sweet Tooth, things get complicated for John when he reunites with his long-lost sister, the vigilante Dollface. 

Season two, part one of Wednesday premieres August 6 on Netflix. Part two will premiere September 3. Wednesday Addams (Jenna Ortega), returns to prowl the Gothic halls of Nevermore Academy, where fresh foes and woes await. This season, Wednesday must navigate family, friends and old adversaries, propelling her into another year of delightfully dark and kooky mayhem. Armed with her signature razor-sharp wit and deadpan charm, Wednesday is also plunged into a new bone-chilling supernatural mystery.

Season four of The Morning Show premieres September 17 on Apple TV+. The new season opens in spring 2024, almost two years after the events of season three. With the UBA-NBN merger complete, the newsroom must grapple with newfound responsibility, hidden motives and the elusive nature of truth in a polarized America. In a world rife with deepfakes, conspiracy theories and corporate cover-ups – who can you trust? And how can you know what’s actually real? Along with Reese Witherspoon and Jennifer Aniston, the star-studded season four ensemble cast includes Billy Crudup, Karen Pittman, Nicole Beharie, Nestor Carbonell, Mark Duplass, Greta Lee, Marion Cotillard, Jeremy Irons, Aaron Pierre, William Jackson Harper, Boyd Holbrook and returning fan-favorite Jon Hamm. 

HBO Max has given a series order to its The Big Bang Theory spinoff Stuart Fails to Save the Universe. Comic book store owner Stuart Bloom is tasked with restoring reality after he breaks a device built by Sheldon and Leonard, accidentally bringing about a multiverse Armageddon. Stuart is aided in this quest by his girlfriend Denise, geologist friend Bert, and quantum physicist/all-around pain in the ass Barry Kripke. Along the way, they meet alternate-universe versions of characters we’ve come to know and love from The Big Bang Theory. As the title implies, things don’t go well. The series stars Kevin Sussman (Stuart), Lauren Lapkus (Denise), Brian Posehn (Bert), and John Ross Bowie (Barry). 

Netflix has ordered a live action adaptation of Solo Leveling. Byeon Woo-seok will star in the series which follows Sung Jin-woo, an E-rank Hunter — the lowest tier — who gains extraordinary abilities after a near-death experience. As he levels up, he becomes humanity’s unexpected hope, defending against monstrous threats emerging from beyond the mysterious Gates.

Queer Eye will be ending with its upcoming tenth season. The Fab Five (Antoni Porowski, Jeremiah Brent, Jonathan Van Ness, Karamo, and Tan France) return for one last round of unforgettable makeovers and heartfelt transformations. The final season will celebrate the show’s legacy and impact, spotlighting heroes from the nation’s capital. 

HBO Max has canceled Duster after one season. The cancellation comes a week after the finale streamed.

Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande will lead a one-time-only two-hour Wicked special event at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles on November 6 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on NBC and streaming the next day on Peacock. In celebration of Universal Pictures’ highly anticipated film Wicked: For Good, Erivo and Grande will be joined by their co-stars and other surprise guests to perform many songs from the first movie – and maybe, just maybe, a little bit from the upcoming film. 

Paramount+ returns to San Diego with more unforgettable fan experiences and immersive activations than ever before, bringing the service’s expansive offering of iconic franchises and beloved titles to life. Paramount’s fandoms can take in new, interactive events and returning favorites including The Lodge, the can’t-miss fan destination that transports guests into the worlds of beloved Paramount+ titles. New this year is the “Paramount+ Mountain Experience” convention floor booth featuring a towering mountain crane challenge, and an outdoor “Nerd Out” fan booth. The celebrations kick off on Wednesday, July 23 through Sunday, July 27. 

Long Story Short premieres August 22 on Netflix. The animated comedy from the creator of BoJack Horseman is about one family, over time. Jumping through the years, we follow the Schwooper siblings from childhood to adulthood and back again, chronicling their triumphs, disappointments, joys, and compromises. 

Running with the Wolves premieres July 29 on ESPN. The four-part docuseries follows daytime television icons Mark Consuelos and Kelly Ripa as they dive headfirst into the high-stakes world of Italian football – not as spectators, but as team owners. Set in the heart of southern Italy, the series chronicles the couple’s bold journey as owners of Campobasso FC, a gritty Serie C soccer club known as the “Lupi” (Italian for “Wolves”). Since taking the reins in 2022, Consuelos and Ripa have helped breathe new life into the once-struggling team and reignited passion among the club’s loyal fanbase. Now, as the Wolves enter the 2025 campaign, the stakes have never been higher. Solo Traveling with Tracee Ellis Ross premieres July 25 on The Roku Channel. Tracee Ellis Ross is an award-winning actress, producer, founder of PATTERN Beauty, and fashion icon. Now, she is packing her bags and inviting audiences to join her solo trips to Morocco, Mexico, and Spain to experience the joy of solo travel. “This is me enjoying my own company while I immerse, unplug, and indulge out in the world.” 

Trigger premieres July 25 on Netflix. As illegal firearms flood into a gun-free South Korea, a resolute cop and a cunning arms broker find themselves at odds in a tense showdown.

Heart & Hustle: Houston premieres August 2 on OWN. The series follows an incredible sisterhood of Black women thriving in the heart of Houston, Texas. These women are redefining what it means to be a boss, a wife and a mother while navigating entrepreneurial life plus a labyrinth of unique daily challenges. Despite appearing to have it all, they face insecurities and pressures to stay on top in a competitive town while maintaining a perfect image. Conversations with a Killer: The Son of Sam Tapes premieres July 30 on Netflix. One of the greatest manhunts in New York City history comes to life in this gripping three-part series. Conversations with a Killer: The series takes viewers inside the NYPD’s desperate race to catch the infamous .44-caliber killer – and into the disturbing mind of David Berkowitz himself. Newly unearthed recordings offer rare insight into his twisted psyche, revealing what was going through his mind as he unleashed a reign of terror in the late 1970s. Alongside firsthand accounts from cops, journalists, and survivors, the series unpacks how fear spread through the streets, fueled by cryptic letters, a frenzied press, and a killer who seemed to be everywhere and nowhere at once. The chilling new chapter of Conversations with a Killer delves into one of the most infamous cases in American history.  

HBO has officially returned. The streamer, which originally went by HBO Max, went by Max for a stretch of time.
