Crystal Lake will premiere October 15 on Peacock. More cast have been announced for the upcoming second season of Heated Rivalry. Joining the series are Emily Hampshire, Edvin Ryding, Robert Naylor, Sabrina Jalees, and Priyanka. They join recently announced Justice Smith and Charlie Gillespie, along with series stars Hudson Williams and Connor Storrie. Hampshire will play Vanessa. Ryding will be Luca Haas. Naylor will play Wyatt Hayes. Jalees will be Farah Jalali. Priyanka plays Tarek. The new season will premiere on HBO Max in Spring 2027.

The live-action, quarter-hour series created by and starring Jordan Mendoza follows a very scared man as he navigates a barrage of absurd, terrifying, and hilarious dreamscapes. American Horror Story: 13 premieres September 24 on FX and hulu. Featuring 13 half hour episodes, premiere week and week two will each feature three episodes, followed by a pair of episodes each following Thursday leading up to the 13th and final episode on October 29, just in time for Halloween. NBA Saturday Primetime on ABC returns for the 2026-27 season as the exclusive national NBA game of the week, continuing to showcase many of the league’s premier teams and biggest stars. The action begins Dec. 12 as the defending NBA Champion New York Knicks and Finals MVP Jalen Brunson visit the Miami Heat and two-time Kia NBA MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo. The schedule is highlighted by a blockbuster NBA Rivals Week quadrupleheader on Jan. 30, beginning at 12:30 p.m. with the Philadelphia 76ers and four-time Kia NBA MVP LeBron James visiting the Miami Heat and Giannis Antetokounmpo. At 3 p.m., the Denver Nuggets and three-time Kia NBA MVP Nikola Jokić face the Oklahoma City Thunder and reigning two-time Kia NBA MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander in a matchup featuring the winners of four of the last five Kia NBA MVP awards. Coverage continues at 5:30 p.m. when the Western Conference Champion San Antonio Spurs and reigning Defensive Player of the Year Victor Wembanyama visit the Golden State Warriors and two-time Kia NBA MVP Stephen Curry.
NBA is back on NBC and Peacock for the 2026-27 season with 100 regular-season games across its three marquee nights of the week: Sunday Night Basketball, beginning Jan. 24, 2027; Peacock NBA Monday, beginning Oct. 26; and Coast 2 Coast Tuesday, beginning Oct. 27. This season will feature seven Sunday Night Basketball doubleheaders on NBC and Peacock, further establishing NBC Sports as the premier NBA destination for the biggest matchups on the brightest stage. As previously announced on Tuesday, NBC Sports’ 2026-27 slate begins in historic fashion with the first-ever American Express NBA Tip-Off tripleheader on Tuesday, Oct. 20, and features a robust collection of national ‘Holiday Hoops’ games in late December, the first-ever quadrupleheader on Presidents’ Day, the second annual Martin Luther King Jr. Day quadrupleheader, 2027 All-Star Weekend, and comprehensive playoff coverage.
Prime Video today revealed its schedule for the 2026-27 NBA season. Season two of NBA on Prime tips off with a doubleheader on Friday, Oct. 23 beginning with reigning World Champion New York Knicks vs the Boston Celtics at 7 p.m. ET. Later that evening, Kevin Durant returns to Austin when the Houston Rockets face the Western Conference Champion San Antonio Spurs at 9:30 p.m. ET at the University of Texas’s Moody Center. Looking ahead to May, Prime Video’s extensive NBA postseason coverage extends deeper than ever this season, culminating with an exclusive presentation of the Eastern Conference Finals.

Docuseries Death of the Pastor’s Wife premieres August 26 on Netflix. The three part series examines the life and death of Mica Miller, wife of John-Paul Miller, the pastor of her family’s church in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Featuring never-before-seen footage and firsthand accounts from friends and family speaking out for the first time, the series explores allegations of control and manipulation, the events leading up to Mica’s sudden and mysterious death, and the fight for answers that continues today.
PBS has renewed docuseries Hope in the Water for a second season. The series follows the people on the front lines of one of the most urgent challenges of our time: feeding a planet of over 8 billion people while supporting the freshwater systems and oceans that make life possible. It traces a single, powerful idea: that the future of food is being written right now, by ordinary people making extraordinary choices. The oceans and our freshwater systems are not lost. But they need us – and it introduces us to the people who refused to look away. Returning for season two is celebrated environmental enthusiast Shailene Woodley. Joining Woodley this season are chefs Andrew Zimmern and Kristen Kish.
