‘General Hospital’ Announces ‘Best of the Nurses Ball 2014-2018′ 16-Episode Collection; Nurses’ Ball Returns May 16

It’s that time of year GH fans! General Hospital’s wildly popular Nurses’ Ball event will return Thursday, May 16, 2019. As today is GH’s 56th anniversary, it’s only fitting the alphabet network would have something special in store for fans. In anticipation of this year’s event, ABC is releasing the “Best of the Nurses Ball 2014-2018” collection!

The collection includes 16 episodes from fictional Port Charles’ most glamorous charity event, the Nurses Ball. Dedicated to HIV/AIDS awareness and research, the Nurses Ball features exquisite red carpet fashion, original music, awe-inspiring musical and dance performances, and plenty of intrigue, excitement and drama. 

Beginning today through June 30, the 16-episode collection is available for viewers with no sign-in required at ABC.com/GeneralHospital and on the ABC app. The ABC app is available in the App Store, ABC.com, Amazon Appstore, Google Play and on most connected TV devices.

• S1 E1 May 8, 2014 – The Nurses Ball beings with an unexpected interruption during the opening number.
• S1 E2 May 9, 2014 – Luke & Tracy take the next step in their relationship. Spencer convinces Nikolas they have to attend the Ball.
• S1 E3 May 12, 2014 – Spencer begs for another chance with Emma. Britt tells Nikolas she still loves him. Scott tells Lucy she made a mistake picking Kevin.
• S1 E4 May 1, 2015 – Brad proposes to Lucas. The truth about Ric and Hayden’s connection is revealed.
• S1 E5 May 4, 2015 – Nikolas tells Elizabeth Jake Doe is Jason. Spinelli and Maxie’s jealousy towards Ellie and Nathan is evident.
• S1 E6 May 5, 2015 – Duke takes a hit out on Jordan. Spencer gets a surprise visit from a loved one. Elizabeth pleads with Nikolas to keep the truth about Jason between them.
• S1 E7 May 24, 2016 – Maxie convinces Griffin to attend the Ball with her. Carly is surprised to find Ava’s sex tape with Paul Hornsby. Elizabeth falls into Franco’s arms, literally.
• S1 E8 May 25, 2016 – Franco gives Jake a helping hand on stage. Carly blackmails Ava with the sex tape unless Ava gives up sole custody of Avery. Nikolas stops Hayden from talking to Jordan about her shooting.
• S1 E9 May 26, 2016 – Jason goes to Wyndemere to talk to Nikolas and is surprised by what he finds. Jordan arrests Sabrina for aiding and abetting Carlos. Lucas fights for his life.
• S1 E10 May 23, 2017 – Jake shows Emma and Charlotte the Chimera canister that was sent to him. Jason finds Anna’s Chimera necklace on the floor. Sonny has Morgan’s medication tested.
• S1 E11 May 24, 2017 – Jake is scared when he sees the Chimera symbol on Anna’s necklace. Valentin tells Anna he sold the Chimera to Helena Cassadine. Michael visits Nelle in the hospital.
• S1 E12 May 25, 2017 – Sonny and Carly learn that Ava switched Morgan’s pills. Nina takes Valentin back. Anna tells Jason she is looking for a bio-toxin known as the Chimera.
• S1 E13 May 16, 2018 – Robert tries to escape the room he’s locked in. Finn worries that Anna is dying. Mike & Stella convince Sonny to attend the Nurses’ Ball.
• S1 E14 May 17, 2018 – Curtis proposes to Jordan. Alexis overhears Finn tell Anna he hasn’t stopped caring for her. Sam finds Faison’s lighter in Peter’s office.
• S1 E15 May 18, 2018 – Sam and Jason learn that Peter is Faison’s son. Alexis scolds Finn for hurting her. Maxie goes into labor while Peter drives her home. Robert punches Valentin.
• S1 E16 May 21, 2018 – Sonny helps Mike on stage. Cook 2 says goodbye to the Quartermaines. Nina learns that Valentin knew who Henrik was. Peter helps Maxie as she’s giving birth.

The Nurses Ball returned in 2013 as part of the series’ 50th anniversary celebrations after being shelved for over a decade. The decision to revive the Nurses’ Ball was spearheaded by then-head writer Ron Carlivati (now head writer of NBC’s Days of our Lives) and executive producer Frank Valentini. This is the third collection of this kind from ABC. Last June, the network debuted “The Best of Jason and Sam” featuring pivotal moments in their love story. In November, ABC released “The Best of Sonny and Carly“.
