CBS has renewed comedy series Ghosts for a third season. The series follows Samantha and Jay, who throw caution to the wind when they convert their recently inherited country estate into a bed-and-breakfast. Call it mislaid plans. Not only is the place falling apart, but it’s also inhabited by spirits of previous residents – whom only Samantha can see and hear. Ghosts spins the funny, heartfelt story about a newfound dream that reveals connection and self-discovery aren’t just for the living. It stars Rose McIver, Utkarsh Ambudkar, Brandon Scott Jones, Richie Moriarty, Danielle Pinnock, Asher Grodman, Román Zaragoza, Sheila Carrasco, Rebecca Wisocky and Devan Chandler Long.
NBC has made midseason scheduling changes and announcements. Found is being moved from its previous midseason premiere date (February 19) to a fall 2023 launch. Additional scripts of the series have been ordered as a show of its commitment to the series. The Blacklist will now move from its original 8PM timeslot to 10PM beginning February 26. Magnum P.I. will now premiere with back to back episodes February 19 at 9PM and 10PM and air in its normal 9PM timeslot moving forward. Season four Magnum P.I. encore telecasts will air at 7PM and 8PM. Comedy series Grand Crew will premiere March 3, taking the place of Young Rock.
Starz has picked up Minx following its cancellation at HBO Max mid filming its second season. Both seasons will be available Set in 1970s Los Angeles, the series centers around Joyce (Ophelia Lovibond), an earnest young feminist who joins forces with a low-rent publisher (Jake Johnson) to create the first erotic magazine for women. The cast also includes Idara Victor, Jessica Lowe, Lennon Parham, Michael Angarano and Oscar Montoya. As previously announced, Elizabeth Perkins joined season two as recurring character Constance.
Paramount+ has renewed Criminal Minds: Evolution for a new season. The series continues and expands the beloved series, which ran from 2005-2020 on CBS, for streaming audiences, blending serialized elements into the series’ format. In the current season, the FBI’s elite team of criminal profilers comes up against their greatest threat yet, an UnSub who has used the pandemic to build a network of other serial killers. As the world opens back up and the network goes operational, the team must hunt them down, one murder at a time. Original cast members continuing their roles include Joe Mantegna, A.J. Cook, Kirsten Vangsness, Aisha Tyler, Adam Rodriguez and Paget Brewster. Zach Gilford joined the dynamic cast this season as a recurring guest star in a season-long arc.
The upcoming fifth season of Mayans M.C. will be the final season. The series is a spinoff of Sons of Anarchy that follows the life of Ezekiel “EZ” Reyes, a newly patched member of the Mayans M.C. charter on the California/Mexico border. Once a golden boy with the American Dream within his grasp, EZ and his brother Angel are closer than ever after uncovering the truth behind their mother’s murder. Faced with carving out a new identity for himself in his small town, EZ’s need for vengeance drives him toward a life he never intended.
Season two of Children Ruin Everything will premiere on The Roku Channel February 3. Follow Astrid and James as they raise their young children while struggling to hold onto their pre-parental identities. In the midst of all the hilarious and creative ways that kids can alter plans, annihilate goals and dreams, and force parents to re-invent their lives, it turns out that maybe things are kind of okay! Nowhere near as effortless as that kid-free life – but still kind of nice.
Ex on the Beach Couples will premiere on MTV February 9.The series follows six couples ready to get engaged but there is one thing holding them back from taking that next big step – their ever-present, ever-lingering EX. Through a series of intense challenges to their relationship and strength building exercises, the couples will decide if they can finally move on from their ex and achieve their happily ever after. In a dramatic finale the couples will choose to make the ultimate commitment to their partner and get engaged or split up and go their separate ways forever.
Lockwood & Co. premieres on Netflix January 27. Wolf Pack premieres on Paramount+ January 26. Based on the book series by Edo Van Belkom, the series follows a teenage boy and girl whose lives are changed forever when a California wildfire awakens a terrifying supernatural creature and drives it to attack a highway traffic jam beneath the burning hills. Wounded in the chaos, the boy and girl are inexplicably drawn to each other and to two other teenagers who were adopted 16 years earlier by a park ranger after another mysterious wildfire. As the full moon rises, all four teens come together to unravel the secret that connects them – the bite and blood of a werewolf.
Netflix has renewed Mo for a second and final season. Mo Najjar straddles the line between two cultures, three languages and a ton of bullshit as a Palestinian refugee living one step away from obtaining asylum in the U.S. His family – including his resilient mother and hilariously unfiltered brother – flee to Houston, Texas. Mo deftly adapts to his new world, but it’s tough to get ahead when you’re tied up in red tape.
Season four of Tournament of Champions will premiere on Food Network February 19. The skills and abilities of the most talented chefs from the East and West coast will be pushed to the limit in the most difficult bracket-style culinary competition. This year’s lineup features 14 tournament rookies who are on a quest to shake up the competition. The pressure is intense, and emotions are high as the elite chefs do not know who their opponents will be and what cooking challenges they will face, with the latter determined by the dreaded randomizer. This season, Guy has added a twist with randomizer wild cards that progressively get harder and harder in each round. Each battle will feature blind judging by a rotating panel of judges consisting of the biggest names in the food world as the chefs watch their critiques from backstage. For this year’s finale Guy is pulling out the ultimate wild card by inviting a surprise judge who is one of the most respected and revered chefs in the world. After 8 weeks and 31 grueling head-to-head battles, one talented chef will win it all and be crowned champion, taking home the coveted Tournament of Champions belt and a $100,000 cash prize.
Saint X will premiere on hulu April 26. The series, which is told via multiple timelines, explores and upends the girl-gone-missing genre as it explores how a young woman’s mysterious death during an idyllic Caribbean vacation creates a traumatic ripple effect that eventually pulls her surviving sister into a dangerous pursuit of the truth. The eight episode series stars Alycia Debnam-Carey, Josh Bonzie, West Duchovny, Jayden Elijah, Bre Francis, Kenlee Anaya Townsend, Betsy Brandt and Michael Park.

Season two of Bel-Air premieres on Peacock February 23. Saweetie will make an appearance as herself in the first episode of the season. Hulu has ordered docuseries The Ashley Madison Affair. The series is an in-depth, multipart documentary exploring the hack of an infidelity dating website for married people that caused shockwaves with one of the most damaging and scandalous data breaches of all time.
Netflix has ordered two new docu series. The first is an as yet untitled series at the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, featuring exclusive, behind-the-scenes footage of all 32 teams from the tournament. The other is Six Nations, an exclusive, inside look at the international rugby tournament.
Zoey 102, an original movie starring Jamie Lynn Spears is set to debut exclusively on Paramount+. The full-length original movie is based on characters from the hit live-action Nickelodeon series Zoey 101. The movie follows Pacific Coast Academy alumni as they reunite for a wedding in the present day. It will star Jamie Lynn Spears (“Zoey Brooks”), Erin Sanders (“Quinn Pensky”), Sean Flynn (“Chase Matthews”), Matthew Underwood (“Logan Reese”), Christopher Massey (“Michael Barret”), Abby Wilde (“Stacey Dillsen”) and Jack Salvatore (“Mark Del Figgalo”).
Effective January 12, the price of a new HBO Max ad-free monthly subscription in the U.S. will increase from $14.99 to $15.99 plus applicable taxes. Existing subscribers who are currently paying $14.99/month will see their monthly rate increase to $15.99 effective their next billing cycle on or after February 11, 2023.
The Watchful Eye premieres on Freeform January 30. The series follows Elena Santos, a young woman with a complicated past, maneuvering her way into working as a live-in nanny for an affluent family in Manhattan. The two part The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City reunion begins January 25 on Bravo. Host Andy Cohen sits down with Housewives Lisa Barlow, Heather Gay, Meredith Marks and Whitney Rose. Friends Danna Bui-Negrete, Angie Harrington and Angie Katsanevas also join.
Season five of Formula 1: Drive to Survive will premiere on Netflix February 24. Season nine of The Masked Singer premieres on Fox February 15.
