The second installment of horror anthology series Them: The Scare premieres April 25 on Prime Video. The eight episode season will once again be set in Los Angeles (the first installment, subtitled Covenant, took place in Compton circa 1952 but will move the time frame forward to 1991). The story centers on LAPD Homicide Detective Dawn Reeve, who is assigned to a new case: the gruesome murder of a foster home mother that has left even the most hardened detectives shaken. Navigating a tumultuous time in Los Angeles, with a city on the razor’s edge of chaos, Dawn is determined to stop the killer. But as she draws closer to the truth, something ominous and malevolent grips her and her family…

The CW Network, Roku Originals and Stan have teamed up for the upcoming new series Good Cop/Bad Cop. The one-hour procedural comedic drama stars Leighton Meester, Luke Cook and Clancy Brown. The eight episode dramedy is centered around Lou and Henry, an odd couple sister and brother detective team in a small Pacific Northwest police force. They must contend with colorful residents, a serious lack of resources, and their very complicated dynamic with each other and with their police chief, Big Hank – who happens to be their father. 

Travel series Conan O’Brien Must Go premieres April 18 on Max with all four episodes. Host Conan O’Brien visits new friends he’s met through his podcast, “Conan O’Brien Needs a Fan,” where he dives deep with listeners from around the world. Making stops in Norway, Thailand, Argentina, and Ireland, O’Brien surprises some of his most memorable fans while also taking in local culture, cuisine, and sights.  

To honor the legacy of Akira Toriyama, a marathon of the first eight episodes of Dragon Ball Z Kai will air on adult swim’s Toonami block March 16. From 2am to 6am the episodes will air. Kicking off the night will be new episodes of Ninja Kamui, Demon Slayer, Lycoris Recoil, and the English subtitled episode of Ninja Kamui at an earlier time. Repeat episodes of Dragon Ball Z Kai have recently returned to the Toonami lineup airing at 2:30am. 

The Valley premieres March 19 on Bravo. The series follows a group of close friends as they trade bottle service in West Hollywood for baby bottles in the Valley all while they navigate bustling businesses, rocky relationships and feisty friendships.

Anime series DAN DA DAN will premiere this October on both Crunchyroll and Netflix. This is a story about Momo, a high school girl who comes from a family of spirit mediums, and her classmate Okarun, an occult fanatic. After Momo rescues Okarun from being bullied, they begin talking. However, an argument ensues between them since Momo believes in ghosts but denies aliens exist, and Okarun believes in aliens but denies ghosts exist. To prove to each other what they believe in is real, Momo goes to an abandoned hospital where a UFO has been spotted and Okarun goes to a tunnel rumored to be haunted. To their surprise, they each encounter overwhelming paranormal activities that transcend comprehension. Amid these predicaments, Momo awakens her hidden power and Okarun gains the power of a curse to overcome these new dangers! Their fateful love begins as well!? The story of the occult battle and adolescence starts!

The season six Love Is Blind: The Reunion premieres March 13 on Netflix. Hosted by Nick and Vanessa Lachey, relive the love stories, unpack the drama and find out what happened after the altar. AD, Clay, Jimmy, Chelsea, Jessica, Johnny, Amy, Jeramey, Laura, Sarah Ann, Brittany, Kenneth and Trevor return to the pods for a reunion unlike any other and catch up with participants from Seasons 1-5 including Tiffany and Brett, Chelsea and Kwame, Alexa and Brennon, Colleen and Matt, Izzy, Micah and Gianina. It will feature surprise guests, jaw dropping confrontations and the scandals you’ve been talking about. 

Anime series Call of the Night has been renewed for a second season. The first season streamed on HIDIVE. Wracked by insomnia and wanderlust, Ko Yamori is driven onto the moonlit streets every night in an aimless search for something he can’t seem to name. His nightly ritual is marked by purposeless introspection — until he meets Nazuna, who might just be a vampire! Ko’s new companion could offer him dark gifts and a vampire’s immortality. But there are conditions that must be met before Ko can sink his teeth into vampirism, and he’ll have to discover just how far he’s willing to go to satisfy his desires before he can heed the Call of the Night!

Troy Winbush will be a guest star in the upcoming NBC Suits L.A. pilot. The role will be recurring if the pilot is picked up to series. He joins previously cast Stephen Amell, Josh McDermitt and Lex Scott Davis. Ted Black, a former federal prosecutor from New York, has reinvented himself representing the most powerful clients in Los Angeles. His firm is at a crisis point, and in order to survive he must embrace a role he held in contempt his entire career. Ted is surrounded by a stellar group of characters who test their loyalties to both Ted and each other while they can’t help but mix their personal and professional lives. All of this is going on while events from years ago slowly unravel that led Ted to leave behind everything and everyone he loved. 

Elsbeth will return on CBS with two new back-to-back episodes featuring guest stars Jane Krakowski, Linda Lavin and Jesse Tyler Ferguson April 4. Based on the character Elsbeth Tascioni from The Good Wife and The Good Fight, it follows an astute but unconventional attorney who uses her singular point of view to make unique observations and corner brilliant criminals alongside the NYPD. After leaving her legal career for a new investigative role, Elsbeth finds herself jockeying with NYPD Captain C.W. Wagner. Working alongside Elsbeth is Officer Kaya Blanke. 

Madeline Brewer has been cast in the upcoming fifth season of Netflix’s You. Brewer plays Bronte, an enigmatic and free-spirited playwright who comes to work for Joe at his bookstore. As the two connect over literature and loss, she stokes in him a nostalgia for his former self, causing him to question everything his life has become.

Zach Galifianakis has been cast in the upcoming fourth season of Only Murder in the Building. He will play a character that becomes integral to the twist and turns of this season’s investigation on the hulu series.

Joining the growing guest cast of Abbott Elementary are Lana Condor, Keegan-Michael Key, Cree Summer, Tatyana Ali and Karan Soni. They are all set to make appearances in the current third season of the ABC comedy. 

Anime series Jellyfish Can’t Swim in the Night will stream on HIDIVE this spring. The series is set in Central Tokyo’s Shibuya City. Shibuya City is the center of Japanese youth culture and its street are a frenzied mix of fashion, art, entertainment and nightlife — providing the perfect back drop for this unique slice of life, coming-of-age ensemble drama and its cast of characters. Shibuya is a city full of identity. It is here on Shibuya’s late night streets that illustrator Mahiru Kozuki, former idol Kano Yamanouchi, Vtuber Kiui Watase and composer Mei Kim Anouk Takanashi — four young women who are slightly outside the world — join together and form an anonymous artist group called JELEE. “I” also want to shine like someone else. If it’s not me but “we” then we might be able to shine.
