Five part series The Narrow Road to the Deep North premieres April 18 on Prime Video. The series charts the life of Dorrigo Evans (played by Jacob Elordi as a young man, with Ciarán Hinds as the older Dorrigo), through his passionate love affair with Amy Mulvaney (Odessa Young), his time held captive in a POW camp, and his later years spent as a revered surgeon and reluctant war hero. 

Hyper Knife premieres March 19 on hulu. A medical thriller series that centers on Seok, a genius neurosurgeon who is reunited with Deokhee, the professor who ruined her life long ago. Now with nothing but hatred toward each other, Seok is furious that he is back in her life and vows to take revenge. 

When Life Gives You Tangerines Volume 3 premieres on Netflix March 21. The series follows the adventures of Ae-sun, “the remarkable rebel,” and Gwan-sik, nicknamed “unyielding iron,” through four vibrant seasons on Jeju Island. 

Bobby Moynihan has joined the cast of the Untitled Tracy Morgan Project as Gator, Reggie’s loyal former teammate who has always stuck with him even when things went sideways. The series follows a disgraced former football player is on a mission to rehabilitate his image. 

The English dub of Synduality Noir will premiere on hulu April 16. Both part one and part two will premiere at the same time. The announcement comes as the streamer provides English dubs for its backlog of anime series. 

Chris O’Donnell will star in ABC’s 9-1-1: Nashville. O’Donnell will play a fire captain who runs the firehouse alongside his son. The series is a spinoff of 9-1-1. 

Tic Tac Dough, hosted by Brooke Burns, and the Bingo Blitz, hosted by Valerie Bertinelli premiere on GSN April 14. In Tic Tac Dough, Brooke Burns guides two contestants as they compete to place three of their marks in a row on the giant trivia board. After three rounds, the winning player moves on to face the dragon in the grand prize round, where the dragon moves strategically on the board to block the player’s ability to make three-in-a-row and take home $10,000. In Bingo Blitz, two contestants compete in a dynamic blend of trivia and bingo. The ultimate game of knowledge, strategy and luck, contestants answer trivia to earn bingo balls and points. In addition to numbered bingo balls, players also receive gold balls they can strategically place on their cards to increase their chances of making a bingo. Bingos earn the players bonus points, and special ‘power-ups’ on the players’ cards earn them extra points, bingo balls and prizes. After three rounds, the player with the highest score advances to the fast-action Blitz round, where making a bingo in 60 seconds or less awards them $10,000. 

FX has given a pilot order for a potential Snowfall spinoff series. The project would see Gail Bean and Isaiah John return as Wanda and Leon Simmons from the original series. 

For a second consecutive year, Conan O’Brien will return to host The Oscars. The awards ceremony will air live on ABC March 15, 2026, at 7 p.m. EDT/4 p.m. PDT. 

Extra has been renewed for season 32. The daily newsmagazine airs on Fox stations. 

NBC has picked up its third comedy pilot of the season with the Untitled Ornelas, Keliiaa and Wilson Project. The series is an ensemble comedy set at a Native community center in Oakland, Calif. The employees hustle to keep the lights on while lifting up those in need. The previous two pilots were the Tracy Morgan project and Stumble.  

Last Days of Gene Hackman: ABC News Special premieres April 18 on ABC. The special takes a deep dive into the last days of beloved actor Gene Hackman and his wife, Betsy Arakawa, after they were mysteriously found dead in their New Mexico home. It provides a detailed look at the investigation into the deaths that shocked the public, with an outpouring of grief and condolences from friends and fans of the acclaimed actor. The puzzling and saddening details of the couple’s death unfolded over the course of a couple weeks, with new information from cell phone forensics revealing calls made by Betsy to a concierge medical group just before her death. The special includes interviews with Santa Fe County Sheriff Adan Mendoza, who takes viewers through the timeline of events as the details of the investigation unfolded, ABC News correspondent Trevor Ault, ABC News entertainment correspondent Chris Connelly, and local friends of Gene and Betsy. 

This National Record Store Day, take a spin through the rows of two of the country’s most iconic record stores with some of music’s most legendary names in AXS TV’s National Record Store Day Vinyl Obsession Marathon – airing Saturday, April 12 starting at 1:30P ET. AXS TV’s fan-favorite Vinyl Obsession series captures rock trailblazers touring the hallowed aisles of Grimey’s in Nashville and The Record Parlour in Los Angeles to discuss their acclaimed careers and select the five albums that have impacted them the most. The exclusive block is an homage to the timeless allure and historical importance of vinyl records and the collectors who love them. CNBC Sport: On the Record premieres March 29 on CNBC. The series explores the convergence of sports, business, and investing. Each week, the biggest names in sports – from league commissioners, team owners, influential media executives and top athletes – will give an insider’s perspective on the strategies, deals, and stories shaping sports and business.

The remaining three episodes of The Chelsea Detective season three premieres April 7 on Acorn TV. DI Max Arnold and DS Layla Walsh delve once more into the darker side of Chelsea that lurks beneath its glossy façade. Season three finds Max and Layla investigating the discovery of an ex-soldier’s body in an allotment, the brutal murder of an antiques dealer, and the mysterious case of a climate scientist found dead in a stolen car. But, while Max remains adept at solving crimes, things are far from straightforward at home. Polyfamily premieres April 29 on TLC. The series dives deep into the world of polyamory and non-traditional family structures. In this unconventional family set up, Tyler is dating Sean’s wife, Taya, and Sean is dating Tyler’s wife, Alysia. Three part docuseries Fight for Glory: 2024 World Series premieres March 28 on Apple TV+. Gannibal season two premieres March 19 on hulu. Return to the Kuge Village with police offer Daigo Agawa as he tries to uncover the horrifying, dark truth that the village has held to secrecy. 

The Divorce Insurance premieres March 31 on Prime Video. The series follows the team’s creation of a divorce insurance product, designed to address one of the most pressing concerns of modern times – divorce. The trailer offers a sneak peek at the office rom-com set in an insurance company’s product development team, including the main character Ki-jun who is very passionate about creating a divorce insurance product. 

French comedy series bref.2 premieres March 26 on hulu. Launched in 2011, the series instantly left its mark with its ultra-short format, punchy humor, and groundbreaking narrative style. Tackling existential dilemmas and the absurdities of daily life with boldness, it captured the zeitgeist of an entire generation, becoming a cultural phenomenon and a cult classic. It takes a sharp look at life and situations that are both hilarious and nail biting. But for its grand return, the series goes even further with a longer format – 6 episodes of 30 minutes each. Season two of Full Court Press premieres May 3 on ESPN.
