Peacock has renewed The Traitors for three seasons, in addition to the upcoming season returning in 2027. Alan Cumming is set to return as host. The series is a nail-biting psychological adventure in which treachery and deceit are the name of the game. A distinguished roster of famous faces, notable figures, top competitors, and reality icons play the ultimate murder mystery game. Hosted by award-winning Alan Cumming at an ancient castle set deep in the Scottish Highlands, players work together on a series of exhilarating missions to build a substantial prize fund. Hidden amongst the Faithfuls are the Traitors, whose goal is to eliminate the Faithful and claim the prize for themselves. Under the cover of darkness, the Traitors murder the Faithful one by one in a treacherous spree, while the Faithful try to uncover the Traitors and banish them from the game. If the Faithful banish all the Traitors, they will share the prize fund, but if a Traitor (or Traitors) makes it to the end, they will steal all the money. Before the next season of Peacock’s The Traitors, NBC will debut The Traitors: New Blood on September 17.
Heated Rivalry has added even more cast for its upcoming second season. Joining the HBO Max series are Brendan Morgan, David Tomlinson, Gerry Dee, Michelle Mylett, Lauren Chan, and Nick Stahl.
Saturday Night Live has added two featured players to the cast. Joining the 52nd season are Saidah Belo-Osagie and Grace Reiter. The new season premieres September 26 on NBC with host Jalen Brunson and musical guest KATSEYE.

Jefferson White joins the upcoming second season of Marshals in a recurring role. White will reprise his Yellowstone role as fan-favorite Jimmy Hurdstrom, a good-hearted yet rough-around-the-edges ranch hand who evolved from a troubled criminal into a resilient, proud cowboy.

HBO Max has ordered drama series How to Survive Without Me. The drama stars series regulars Ray Romano, Kaley Cuoco, Joshua Jackson, Julia Schlaepfer, Jack Ball, Kylar Miranda, Julian Grey, Scarlett Abinante, Tommy Dewey, Matthew Kellison, Colette Porch, Ella Rubin, and Rita Wilson as members of the De Angelis family. Romano plays the family’s patriarch and Wilson plays the deceased matriarch. In the wake of matriarch Beverly’s passing, the De Angelis family have begun to drift, unsure how to manage their complicated, evolving lives without her guidance, but in true Beverly fashion, she found a way to keep running the show from the beyond. Should they wish to experience Beverly’s final work, the family must find the time – and make the effort – to remain connected and be there for each other through all of life’s challenges yet to come.
Madonna will open the 2026 Video Music Awards (VMAs) for her first live performance at the show in 23 years. Hosted by Snoop Dogg, the VMAs will air live from Los Angeles on Sunday, Sept. 27 (7:30-9:30 PM, ET/4:30-6:30 PM, PT) on CBS.
Breaking the Deadlock returns with a new episode “AI: Who’s in Control?” October 27 on PBS. In this new episode, eight panelists face a series of challenging dilemmas: in a town fractured over data centers, will a couple take a huge cash offer from a company primed to build one? Is it acceptable for a town to use AI surveillance cameras to identify people who might commit a crime, but haven’t yet?
The Amazing Race: 25 Years Around the World premieres September 29 on CBS. The Country Music Association (CMA) announced today that it is producing CMA Presents I Will Always Love You: A Celebration of Dolly Parton, a two-hour television event in tribute to Dolly Parton, airing live Wednesday, Oct. 21 (9:00-11:00 p.m. EDT) on ABC and Disney+. Following her passing on Aug. 25, the special will be a joyful, emotional celebration of the artist, songwriter, entertainer, humanitarian and entrepreneur whose music and generosity carried her from the mountains of east Tennessee into the hearts of generations around the world, told through performances, archival footage and personal stories that trace her extraordinary journey to becoming one of the most beloved entertainers and philanthropists in American history.

Hosted by Nicolette van Dam and Bas Smit, 30 single men and women enter the pods in the hope of finding a genuine, lasting connection, without ever seeing the person they’re talking to. They date in individual pods, separated by a thin wall, and have the chance to build an emotional connection before meeting face-to-face. If they feel they’ve found the right person, they can even get engaged before seeing each other for the first time.
