Season two of The Terminal List premieres October 21 on Prime Video. The series centers on Navy SEAL Commander “James Reece” (Chris Pratt) as he battles unknown conspiratorial forces seeking to upend the world order. This season comes from Jack Carr’s second novel, True Believer, where he puts “James Reece” on a journey of violent redemption, finding a new purpose after finishing his list. The psychological revenge thriller of Season One opens up into a globe-trotting espionage thriller taking Reece across the Indian Ocean, Southern and Northern Africa, the Middle East, and Europe. Joined by returning fan favorites like “Raife Hastings” (Tom Hopper), “Katie Buranek” (Constance Wu), “Mohammed Farooq” (Dar Salim), “Jules Landry” (Luke Hemsworth) and newcomers like “Freddy Strain” (Gabriel Luna), Reece will uncover a conspiracy that reaches from Moscow to Langley and ties into his own family’s history.
War premieres October 1 on HBO. Starring Dominic West and Sienna Miller, the series is a high-stakes, legal drama following the lives of London’s most powerful lawyers as firms Cathcarts & Sons and Taylor & Byrne clash over a headline-grabbing legal battle, drawing ambitious young lawyer Jonathan “Johnny” Warren (Archie Renaux) into a ruthless world where ambition is currency, betrayal is strategy, and winning is everything. Season one follows the explosive divorce of British tech entrepreneur Morgan Henderson (Dominic West) and international film star Carla Duval (Sienna Miller), as Cathcarts & Sons and Taylor & Byrne stop at nothing to secure victory for their clients.
Season two of CIA premieres October 5 on CBS. The series focuses on a clandestine CIA/FBI task force where secretive and roguish CIA Agent Colin Glass finds himself teamed up with by-the-book FBI Special Agent Bill Goodman. The duo work together on covert operations in New York, uncovering international plots, terrorist cells and geopolitical secrets. Also on the team is Deputy Chief of Station Nikki Reynard and CIA Analyst Gina Gosian. Bill continues to learn the rules of this murky world on the fly as Colin leads him deeper into spy games where only one thing is clear – their work keeps America safe, even if no one will ever know what they did in the shadows.
New York Knicks star Jalen Brunson will guest star this season on NBC’s Law & Order: SVU. Brunson will appear in the season’s fifth episode, scheduled to air on November 5 at 9 p.m. ET/PT. His role is being kept under wraps.
Fox has ordered legal drama series Katie Greaves. Edie Falco stars as Katie Greaves, a whip-smart, fiercely committed attorney who stepped away from the New Hampshire Public Defender’s office following a devastating personal tragedy. Now raising her two young granddaughters with her husband and trying to piece together a life she never expected, Katie is drawn back to the work that once defined her. Each case tests Katie’s instincts, wit, and deeply held belief that everyone deserves a second chance… and someone to fight for them. The series will debut in the 2027-28 season.
Siobhan McGroarty, Sophia Reid-Gantzert, West Mulholland, Gigi Zumbado and Curtis Hamilton have been cast in Prime Video’s Rose Hill. The romance series is based on Elsie Silver’s novel.
The Voice returns for a three night season premiere starting September 21 that continues on September 22 and September 23. Joining for the first time are icon Queen Latifah and country superstar Riley Green, with fan-favorites Kelly Clarkson and Adam Levine rounding out the coaching panel. The new season marks the first-ever simulcast on Peacock for an NBC entertainment program. Brendan Gleeson, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Hamish Linklater, Sam Spruell and Jamie Demetriou have been cast in anthology series Far Cry. They join Rob Mac, Lizzy Caplan and Steve Buscemi in the FX series based on the video game franchise.
Unaccustomed Earth premieres December 17 on Netflix. The Boulet Brothers’ Dragula will return for its seventh season on October 27 on Shudder and AMC+. The forthcoming seventh season features some of the series’ most brilliantly unhinged and cutting-edge underground artists, a collection of beloved guest judges including Rose McGowan, Doug Jones, David Dastmalchian, Harvey Guillén, Rachel True, Darren Stein, Lloyd Kaufman, Brandon Rogers, James A. Janisse, Chelsea Rebecca, Yvie Oddly, Lauren LaVera, Bailey Sarian, Howard Berger, and previous The Boulet Brothers’ Dragula winners Landon Cider, Dahli, and Asia Consent, and the craziest elimination challenges in ten years of the show. Jessica Chastain will star in Netflix’s The Retrievals. The series follows IVF patients who come together against Yale University after being operated on without anesthesia – because a nurse stole their fentanyl. Fabien Frankel and Will Harrison will also star in the series.
Six part docuseries A Course Called Ireland premieres October 25 on Paramount+. Bill Murray and author Tom Coyne play their way across some of Ireland’s most legendary golf courses. Production has begun on Thunder Road, set to premiere on AMC and AMC+ in 2027. Luke Bryan is taking the Roku City stage, giving streamers an exclusive concert experience on the Roku platform. The country superstar’s “Live from Roku City” performances will launch Sept. 19 on Roku, the day after the release of Bryan’s ninth studio album, “Signs.” In this exclusive platform experience, fans will be able to see Bryan perform fan-favorite “Play It Again,” the recent hit single “Country and She Knows It,” and a special homage to Bryan’s favorite television theme song, “Where Everybody Knows Your Name,” from the series “Cheers.”
GENER8ION, Gunna, LISA, RAYE, Shaboozey, SIENNA SPIRO and Yung Lean will join show opener Madonna for performances during the 2026 MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs). Hosted by Snoop Dogg, the VMAs will air Sunday, Sept. 27 (7:30-9:30 PM, ET/4:30-6:30 PM, PT) on CBS, simulcast on MTV and streaming on Paramount+ (Premium) in the U.S. The show will also be available globally the next day on Paramount+ and MTV.
Docuseris Building Buffalo premieres September 17 on NFL Network. The two-part series tells the story of the laborers, tradespeople, architects and contractors who built the Bills’ state-of-the-art stadium, featuring Buffalo Bills legends Thurman Thomas, Andre Reed and Steve Tasker alongside current players Damar Hamlin, Dawson Knox, DJ Moore and others. Five-time Pro Bowl offensive tackle Dion Dawkins serves as Executive Producer and a central voice in the series.
Disney has entered into a content and development deal with Like Nastya. One of the biggest kids’ channels on YouTube, Like Nastya has more than 450 million subscribers across 25 YouTube channels in 22 languages and has amassed more than 275 billion lifetime views. The deal includes development of an original animated preschool series for Disney Jr. and Disney+, along with new live-action content for kids, tweens, teens and families. It also includes access to a curated collection of the Like Nastya library content, known for its playful storytelling, imaginative adventures and music. The content will be distributed across Disney+ and other Disney-owned platforms.
The National Hockey League and ESPN today announced an update to the 2026-27 NHL regular-season schedule. The starting times for two national exclusive games have been updated for October 6. The New York Islanders vs. New York Rangers matchup will now begin at 7:30 p.m. ET and the Florida Panthers vs. Los Angeles Kings will now begin at 10 p.m. Both games will air on ESPN.

Perfect Liars premieres November 20 on Prime Video. Jude Derry has decided to challenge the Cash brothers. The series is an adaptation of Álex Mírez’s novel.
Fading Grandeur premieres October 23 on Netflix. This six-episode dramedy stars Antonio de la Torre and Alexandra Jiménez. Don Leandro, a ruined marquis who lives on appearances and dreams of being named a Grandee of Spain, sees only one way out of his financial disaster: selling his decaying family mansion in Madrid. The perfect opportunity seems to arise when the immensely wealthy businesswoman Sofía Carrington takes an interest in the property.
