It looks like we might just have a ballgame at One Life to Live as another fan favorite has signed on for the Prospect Park reboot, which is scheduled to begin production next month. On Tuesday morning, Robin Strasser took to Twitter to confirm that she had agreed to reprise her iconic and award-winning role as Dorian Lord.
“PROUD & HONORED I promised if DEFINITE-YOU’d know! “GIFT” offered & ACCEPTED:) #OLTL LIVES AGAIN thanx to FANS & PP I’m IN & GRATEFUL TY:),” Strasser tweeted.
The actress continued, writing, “#OLTL & #AMC FANS ROCK! It was definite last night I’d be PART (DORIAN AGAIN:) of REVIVAL! Who knew HAPPINESS could make you lose sleep?:)”
Strasser will be joining previously announced cast mate Jerry verDorn (Clint) for the reboot. Susie Bedsow Horgan and Thom Racina were recently named as head writers.
Fans have been clamoring for Dorian’s return since the actress left in Sept. 2011 and was unable to return for the ABC finale due to a medical issue. But her presence is still being felt thanks to the Kramer women continuing on General Hospital. On the Dec. 3 episode of GH, it was mentioned that Dorian was still a U.S. senator, so what will bring the Senator back to Llanview? We will just have to tune in to find out.
Does this make you feel more comfortable with One Life to Live? Will you be tuning in? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
