Lacy Lou is a 30-something Pennsylvania girl living with her husband, who is not quite a soap opera hunk but he’ll do, in North Carolina where she blessed him with five beautiful babies.

She is a consistent wine and Pepsi drinker who is fully aware of the fact that she’s more dependent on them that the air needed to breathe. When she’s not WiFi-ing and mothering, she’s working as a Nurse.

In the very little free time she has, she fangirls over soap operas, which she’s been watching since the age of five when she caught her grandfather watching Days of our Lives with her grandmother. She owes her obsession to them and likes to believe that they would be proud of some of her rants and raves and completely embarrassed by the rest of them.

Cameron Mathison’s ‘General Hospital’ Role Revealed: Say Hello to the New Drew Cain Drew Cain is officially on his way back to Port Charles!

Entertainment Weekly broke the news exclusively that former All My Children star Cameron Mathison (ex-Ryan Lavery) will be joining the cast of ABC’s General Hospital as Andrew “Drew” Cain, last played by fan favorite actor Billy Miller. Drew Cain is the long-lost son of the late Alan Quartermaine and Susan Moore, the identical twin brother of Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), whom an amnesiac Drew believed he was for a time. When Drew first arrived in Port Charles – post accident that resulted in facial reconstruction and a lost memory – he adopted the name Jake Doe, later romancing and becoming […]

‘General Hospital’ Week in Review: Easing Back In GH Recap: August 31-September 4, 2020

It has been a very long time since I have watched an entire week of General Hospital episodes. In fact, it’s probably been a couple of years since I have even watched more than clips of my favorite character or a scene that might have sounded interesting. Though there is plenty that I do not like, I found myself pleasantly surprised at how painless it actually to watch all week. First and foremost, this show is in desperate need of some recoupling. Holy cow, these couples are either insanely boring or have been together for way too long and the […]

The Young and the Restless Week in Review: The Lion, the Witch and the HBIC Y&R Recap: August 31 - September 4, 2020

The Young and the Restless had it’s good and bad moments this week, like always, but I felt this week had a little bit better than last week. There were some really nice family moments this week and some intense family moments as well, but the drama was in full effect. Loose Threads Amanda is finally ready to get some answers about her connection to Hilary. It’s long overdue in my opinion. I think we all can pretty much agree that we know where this is going. Twins. It makes the most sense given how much we know about Amanda’s […]

‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ Week in Review: Overstepping Boundaries B&B Recap: August 31 - September 4, 2020

This week’s The Bold and Beautiful episodes were a lot better in my opinion than the previous few weeks. There seemed to be more balance this week. Instead of just one-story dominating, we had three stories to keep us entertained this week, so let’s get into the good and the bad for B&B for the week of August 31, 2020. Not The Villain For now, it looks like Ridge is going to let things fall where they may when it comes to his marriage to Shauna. She is giving him her undivided attention and he is clearly happy about that. […]

‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ Week in Review: Who Are We Supposed to Root For? B&B Recap: August 24-28, 2020

This week’s episodes of The Bold and Beautiful centered around the Brooke/Ridge/Shauna drama again, only now Bill has been added into the mix. It’s a disastrous situation all the way around. I’m not sure who we are even supposed to be rooting for anymore. Everything is a mess. Honestly, it’s not even an adult mess. It’s more of a high school mess in my opinion. All these grown people are making life changing decisions based on ill guided advice and misunderstandings. Let’s dive into the B&B recap for the week of August 24, 2020. Bridge Over Troubled Water The week […]

‘The Young and the Restless’ Week in Review: New Beginnings, Grudges à la Redux Y&R Recap: August 24-28, 2020

Last week’s The Young and the Restless episodes had a lot to praise and a lot to rant about so I’m going to go ahead and dive in to our Y&R recap for the week of August 24, 2020. I Can’t Get No Satisfaction Theo and Lola had their first date this week. It was cute. I like them together. They slept together. It’s a little hard to wrap my mind around the fact that Lola slept with Theo on their first date after all the drama of her virginity, but then again, she did give up her virginity to […]

‘The Young and the Restless’ Week in Review: Dust in the Wind Y&R Recap: August 17-21, 2020

There were a lot of surprises on this past week’s The Young and the Restless, and something that made me go hmm. Was there an improvement of quality over the week prior? Let’s discuss in my Y&R recap for the week of August 17-21, 2020. Sparks Fly Here is something I bet y’all thought you would never hear from me – I liked the Sharon and Adam scenes. I know, it shocked me too. I thought they were sparkly. Clearly that is the Sharon Case and Mark Grossman chemistry coming out, but I thought the scenes were really well done. […]

‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ Week in Review: Killing the Pain The Bold and the Beautiful Recap: August 17-21, 2020

There was a lot of foreshadowing this past week on The Bold and the Beautiful. Longtime soap fans will likely agree with my assessment, but let’s not focus on what’s to come, instead let’s talk about what went down for the week of August 17-21, 2020. Merry-Go-Round-A-Bridge Let’s start with the Brooke and Ridge drama. Any sympathy I felt for these two last week is gone. I should have known it wouldn’t last long. These two have a long history of me liking and disliking them. The week ended with Brooke and Ridge declaring their love and promising to reunite […]

‘The Young and the Restless’ Week in Review: August 10-14, 2020

The Young and the Restless returned from its COVID-forced hiatus with all new episodes for the week of August 10-14, 2020. Though Y&R handled the “best of” episodes during the break the best, the same can’t be said for the first batch of original episodes. While I enjoyed the episode dedicated to Katherine on Monday, as a whole, there wasn’t much else to like by week’s end. There were highlights so of course so I’m going to concentrate on that. Before I get into that, however, I want to say a little something about some of the things I am […]

‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ Week in Review: Pulled Heartstrings on Broken Bridge

This week’s The Bold and the Beautiful episodes were dedicated to letting the drama of Ridge’s drunken wedding to Shauna be revealed and for everyone to react. We have a gleeful Quinn, a guilty Shauna, a disappointed Eric, a surprised Donna, a torn Ridge and a heartbroken Brooke. Let’s dive into this week’s B&B week in review for August 10-14, 2020. The Bold and The Beautiful Recap: August 10-14, 2020 As much as I don’t necessarily care for this story, I can admit that all involved are doing a great job. The deck is so clearly stacked to crumble down […]

‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ Week in Review: Blow-Dolls, Facial Hair and Housecalls

The Bold and Beautiful is back on our screens! Thanks to some creative magic with camera angles and stand-ins, fans are able to consume the lives of the Forresters, Spencers and Logans during the pandemic era. This week in review covers August 3-7, 2020. First let’s start with the news that dropped early in the week: Courtney Hope announced that she has been let go and will no longer be playing Sally. I have a ton of feelings about this and none of them are good, but for word count limitations, I am going to stick with simply, I think […]

‘Days of our Lives’ Star Greg Vaughan to Exit: “My Time Was Coming to an End”

The blows keep coming for fans of NBC’s Days of our Lives fans. Hot on the heels of Kristian Alfonso’s shocking exit announcement, star Greg Vaughan, who’s been with the soap since 2012, recently announced his departure as well. Vaughan, a fan favorite prior to joining DAYS as Marlena Evans-Black’s (Deidre Hall) beloved son Eric Brady, made the announcement during a recent appearance on a podcast hosted by Emmy winning General Hospital star Steve Burton (Jason) and Bradford Anderson (Spinelli). When asked about his work on the OWN series Queen Sugar, Vaughan announced the series has halted production, he recently […]
