We’ve come to the end of our first Vampire Diaries and Originals Supercouple Showdown. After four rounds of voting, the final round came down to Caroline and Klaus versus Elena and Damon.

And the winning couple is:

Before we get into the voting breakdown and the fun fan-made goodies we’ve gathered to celebrate the winning couple, we want to thank everyone for participating and voting. We’d also like to thank the fans who mostly kept the comment sections a friendly rivalry or shipper love fest as opposed to a war zone.

After tallying the results of five rounds of voting, here’s the official breakdown:

Caroline and Klaus 65%

Elena and Damon 35%
