Hope & Aiden, Days of our Lives
Nobody Wants to Be Lonely
Set aside any problems that you might have with the developing love story of Days of our Lives‘ Hope Brady and Aiden Jennings, and look at things objectively. Not only is this a gorgeous couple but they have chemistry too! We know some of you might protest this addition to the list because you’re still holding out for more Bope… We’ve we’re afraid we’ve got some bad news for you — Bo Brady’s not coming back to Salem anytime soon, and that’s the best thing to happen to Hope.
We aren’t the biggest Hope fans, but we know she’s too dynamic and important of a character to waste on the sidelines, pining for her off-screen husband who’s been whisked away on a secret mission. Granted, the Hope we all know from the past would probably be out there hunting for Bo, but who’d turn down silvery blond lawyer eager to spend afternoons in bed at the Salem Inn?
Hope is anything but dumb especially with her own feelings and seeing her finally move on after struggling with feelings both on and off screen, is a testament to her strong willed nature to survive. Even with Aiden’s questionable background currently coming to light, we’re rooting for Hope and Aiden to pull through in the long run! Just don’t kill Hope like you allegedly killed your ex-wife, Aiden!
It may have recently ended, but when the relationship between the youngest Logan sister and the Dressmaker was good, it was amazing to watch. Who knew that simple conversations, walks in the park and poetry could yield such an alluring couple? It was perfect in its simplicity.
Ridge sought something more stable and mature when he opted for the brunette and Katie longed to be first in someone’s heart again. Granted, it took her faking a coronary to get it, but who really wanted Brooke and Ridge part 27 anyway?
Ridge came back with a new face (hello Daytime Icon™ Thorsten Kaye), a new swagger, but unfortunately the same old wandering eye and allergy to commitment remained. So it was no real surprise when he decided to throw out a good thing fora couple of stolen kisses with Caroline Spencer, The Sequel™. Ridge is nothing if not the walking embodiment of RADD (Relationship Attention Deficit Disorder.) Katie being 10x stronger than she was a year prior knew a dog when it hollered and rightfully dropped Forrester’s leash the moment he was no longer worthy of her Love’s Philosophy. And still, even their breakup was beautiful. Sigh… who knows, maybe the couple dosey doe The Bold and the Beautiful has perfected will swing Katie back to Ridge in the future.
