Season four, part one of Outer Banks premieres October 10 on Netflix. Part two will premiere November 7. Both parts will consist of five episodes each. Following last season’s 18-month flash-forward showing Wes Genrette’s proposal for the Pogues to find Blackbeard’s treasure, Season 4 takes us back in time to the lead-up of that moment. After finding the gold at El Dorado, the Pogues return to the OBX and commit to having a “normal” life. They’ve built themselves a new safe haven, officially dubbed “Poguelandia 2.0”, where they live together and run a fairly successful bait, tackle, and charter tour shop. But after some financial setbacks, John B, Sarah, Kiara, JJ, Pope, and Cleo take Wes up on his offer, drawn back into the “G” game for a whole new adventure. But before they know it, they’re well in over their heads, with dangerous new enemies hot on their heels racing them to the treasure. Meanwhile, their problems are only growing, and they’re forced to question their past, present, and future – who they really are, has it all been worth it, and how much are they willing to risk? 

Wizards Beyond Waverly Place premieres October 29 on Disney Channel with two episodes. The first nine episodes will be available on Disney+ and Disney Channel On Demand October 30. The series follows an adult Justin Russo, who has chosen to lead a normal, mortal life with his family, Giada, Roman and Milo. When Justin’s sister Alex, played by Selena Gomez, brings Billie to his home seeking help, Justin realizes he must dust off his magical skills to mentor the wizard-in-training while also juggling his everyday responsibilities – and safeguarding the future of the Wizard World. 

The first eight episodes of Tyler Perry’s Beauty in Black premieres October 24. The series follows two women leading very different lives. While Kimmie is struggling to make a living after her mother kicked her out, and Mallory is running a successful business, they find themselves entangled in each other’s lives. 

Limited series Disclaimer* premieres October 11 on Apple TV+. Acclaimed journalist Catherine Ravenscroft built her reputation revealing the misdeeds and transgressions of others. When she receives a novel from an unknown author, she is horrified to realize she is now the main character in a story that exposes her darkest secrets and threatens to destroy her family. As Catherine races to uncover the writer’s true identity, she is forced to confront her past before it destroys her life and her relationships with her husband Robert and son Nicholas. The series stars Cate Blanchett, Kevin Kline, Sacha Baron Cohen, Lesley Manville, Louis Partridge, Leila George, Kodi Smit-McPhee and Hoyeon, and features Indira Varma as the narrator. 

The Charlie Puth Show premieres on Roku October 4. The six episode series follows Charlie as he attempts to scale the zeitgeist by going beyond pop stardom to become a multi-hyphenate talent after being told it’s no longer enough to just be a musician. Featuring artists, comedians and icons from every area of the pop matrix, the famous faces that populate the show help Charlie to navigate his heightened reality where his career neurosis and musical perfectionism often gets in the way of his peace and sanity, ultimately parodying the very zeitgeist that Charlie’s trying to conquer. 

Pixar has set premiere dates for two upcoming Disney+ series. Dream Productions will premiere December 11. Taking place in between the events of Inside Out and Inside Out 2, Dream Productions follows the studio inside Riley’s mind where dreams really do come true – every night, on time and on budget. Riley is growing up and when her memories need some extra processing, Joy and the rest of the Core Emotions send them to Dream Productions. Acclaimed director Paula Persimmon faces a nightmare of her own: Trying to create the next hit dream after being paired up with Xeni, a smug daydream director looking to step up into the big leagues of night dreams. Win or Lose will premiere February 19. The series reveals what it actually feels like to be in the shoes of eight different characters in the week leading up to the big game – the insecure kids, their helicopter parents, even a lovesick umpire – with incredibly funny, very emotional and uniquely animated perspectives.

Two part competition baking special Killer Cakes premieres on Prime Video October 8. It is a one-of-a-kind competition show where bakers with terrifying skills attempt to win some of the most frightening challenges ever produced for television. Contestants will work with the best horror special effects artists in Hollywood to unleash their twisted imaginations and create cakes so disgusting, so disturbing, and so realistic, it’s the stuff of nightmares. Matthew Lillard hosts with expert judges Danielle Harris and Nikk Alcaraz.

All American stars Michael Evans Behling, Greta Onieogou, and Bre-Z will be returning for the upcoming seventh season. The rest of the original cast will not be returning as regulars. Antonio J. Bell and Alexis Chikaeze who recurred last season have been promoted to series regulars. Also joining as series regulars are Osy Ikhile and Nathaniel McIntyre. The CW series will return in midseason. 

MGM+ has ordered drama series Robin Hood based on the classic adventure tale. The series brings a modern energy to the classic tale of the roguish outlaw hero who stole from the rich and gave to the poor, and the epic love story between him and a courageous and daring Marian. It is a smart, sweeping, romantic adventure that brings historical authenticity, psychological depth, and a heightened focus on the relationship between Rob and Marian to the beloved story. Following the Norman invasion of England, Rob – a Saxon forester’s son – and Marian, the daughter of a Norman lord – fall in love and work together to fight for justice and freedom. As Rob rises as the leader of a band of rebel outlaws, Marian infiltrates the power at court, as both work together to thwart royal corruption and bring peace to the land. 

AXS TV will begin airing all six seasons of Nashville starting September 30, Monday through Friday at 2P ET and 11P ET. The series brings to life the tremendous highs and devastating lows of the cutthroat Country scene, as a group of artists struggle and strive to make their way in the town known as Music City. The series stars Connie Britton as Country Queen Rayna Jaymes, an industry icon fighting to stay on top as a new generation of up-and-coming musicians – led by talented but troubled songstress Juliette Barnes, played by Hayden Panettiere, light up the charts. The series features special guest appearances by an impressive roster of Country music megastars including Brad Paisley, Carrie Underwood, Zac Brown Band, Luke Bryan, Kacey Musgraves, Thomas Rhett, and Trisha Yearwood, among others; as well as rock trailblazers Steven Tyler and Elton John; pop standouts Christina Aguilera and Kelly Clarkson; and many more. 

Our Oceans premieres November 20 on Netflix. Narrated by Barack Obama, the series will whisk you away on a global journey, uncovering the mesmerizing stories of our planet’s five majestic oceans. Each episode delves into the unique characters of the creatures within these ecosystems, from playful and cunning to resilient and mysterious. Ride along the world’s great current as we reveal nature’s most spectacular aquatic personalities and breathtaking wonders. 

Swedish dramedy All and Eva premieres on Viaplay October 10 with all six episodes. For 40 years, Eva has remained steadfast in her disbelief in love. Instead, she believes that happiness lies in her love for herself and her friends. After deciding to get pregnant, Eva chooses an open donor who seems perfect. But the night before the big insemination, she can’t help but think whether she made the right choice of donor. She decides to seek him out with a hidden agenda. He turns out to be normal, kind, nice and above all not a psychopath, so she goes through with it. But the donor, Mads, can’t stop thinking about Eva and tracks her down. The only problem is that she is already pregnant, with his child, although he doesn’t know about it. 

Season two of The Life and Movies of Ersan Kuneri premieres on Netflix October 10. In a retrospective mockumentary, a current-day Ersan Kuneri reflects back on his life and body of work as a prolific pioneer of erotic cinema.

Road Diary: Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band premieres on hulu and Disney+ October 25. It offers the most in-depth look ever at the creation of the band’s legendary live performances, including footage of rehearsals, backstage moments, rare archival clips and personal reflections from Springsteen himself.
