Paradise returns for season two February 23 on hulu. Xavier searches for Teri out in the world and learns how people survived the three years since The Day. Back in Paradise, the social fabric frays as the bunker deals with the aftermath of Season 1, and new secrets are uncovered about the city’s origins. The series stars Sterling K. Brown, Julianne Nicholson, Sarah Shahi, Nicole Brydon Bloom, Krys Marshall, Enuka Okuma, Aliyah Mastin, Percy Daggs IV and Charlie Evans, with recurring guest stars James Marsden, Shailene Woodley, Thomas Doherty, and Jon Beavers. 

The fifth and final season of The Boys premieres April 8 on Prime Video, with two episodes, followed by a new episode each week, culminating in the unforgettable, epic series finale on May 20. It’s Homelander’s world, completely subject to his erratic, egomaniacal whims. Hughie, Mother’s Milk, and Frenchie are imprisoned in a “Freedom Camp.” Annie struggles to mount a resistance against the overwhelming Supe force. Kimiko is nowhere to be found. But when Butcher reappears, ready and willing to use a virus that will wipe all Supes off the map, he sets in motion a chain of events that will forever change the world and everyone in it. It’s the climax, people. Big stuff’s gonna happen. 

Star Trek: Starfleet Academy premieres January 15 on Paramount+ with the first two episodes. The series introduces viewers to a young group of cadets who come together to pursue a common dream of hope and optimism. Under the watchful and demanding eyes of their instructors, they discover what it takes to become Starfleet officers as they navigate blossoming friendships, explosive rivalries, first loves and a new enemy that threatens both the Academy and the Federation itself. The series stars Holly Hunter as the Chancellor of Starfleet Academy, the Starfleet cadets played by Sandro Rosta, Karim Diané Kerrice Brooks, George Hawkins and Bella Shepard, plus Zoë Steiner, Tig Notaro, Robert Picardo, and guest stars Oded Fehr, Mary Wiseman, as well as recurring guest stars Gina Yashere and Paul Giamatti.

Season two of The Hunting Party premieres January 8 on NBC. The series is a high-concept crime procedural about a small team of investigators led by former FBI profiler Rebecca “Bex” Henderson. They’ve been assembled to track down and capture the most dangerous killers the world has ever seen, all of whom have just escaped from “The Pit,” a top-secret government prison that’s not supposed to exist. As Bex races to catch these killers before it’s too late, she’ll discover the one thing more twisted than the dangerous fugitives she’s chasing is the prison itself that they just escaped from… because “The Pit” wasn’t just a prison. 

Season three of School Spirits premieres January 28 on Paramount+. The new season plunges Maddie Nears and her friends into a deeper, darker mystery as the veil between worlds grows dangerously thin, delivering twists that challenge everything they thought they knew. After clawing her way back to life, Maddie struggles with terrifying visions and the weight of protecting both the living and the dead while Simon – trapped in the afterlife – becomes obsessed with the secrets buried in Split River High’s scars. Why have so many people died at Split River High? What was Mr. Martin warning them about? As they search for answers, new dangers and dark secrets begin to surface. 

Espionage thriller series The Copenhagen Test premieres December 27 on Peacock. The series follows first-generation Chinese-American intelligence analyst Alexander Hale who realizes his brain has been hacked, giving the perpetrators access to everything he sees and hears. Caught between his shadowy agency and the unknown hackers, he must maintain a performance 24/7 to flush out who’s responsible and prove where his allegiance lies. The series stars Simu Liu, Melissa Barrera, Sinclair Daniel, Brian d’Arcy James, Mark O’Brien, Kathleen Chalfant.

Season ten of Summer House premieres February 3 on Bravo. After 10 years of iconic themed parties, unexpected friendships and steamy Hamptons nights, “Summer House” remains the life of the party. Seven returning favorites have an unforgettable summer, along with six new housemates who bring the hype, heat and a bold new vibe – blending legacy with fresh, fun energy. Returning housemates include Amanda Batula, Kyle Cooke, Lindsay Hubbard, Ciara Miller, Carl Radke, Jesse Solomon and West Wilson. The group is joined by new friends Mia Calabrese, KJ Dillard, Dara Levitan, Levi Sebree, Bailey Taylor and Ben Waddell. 

The Testaments will premiere on hulu April 2026. The series is based on Margaret Atwood’s novel of the same name, which takes place in the dystopian theocracy of Gilead. Years after the events of The Handmaid’s Tale, The Testaments is a coming of age story that finds a new generation of young women in Gilead grappling with the bleak future that awaits them. For these young women, growing up in Gilead is all they have ever known, having no tangible memories of the outside world prior to their indoctrination into this life. Facing the prospect of being married off and living a life of servitude, they will be forced to search for allies, both new and old, to help in their fight for freedom and the life they deserve. 

New cast members are set to join the upcoming third season of My Life with the Walter Boys. Joining the Netflix series in recurring roles are Chad Rook, Naveen Paddock, and Erin Karpluk. The series is based on the book “My Life with the Walter Boys” by Ali Novak. 

Comedy series Rooster will premiere on HBO in March 2026. The ten episode season from Bill Lawrence stars Steve Carell. The series set on a college campus centers on an author’s complicated relationship with his daughter. The series also stars Charly Clive, Danielle Deadwyler, Phil Dunster, John C. McGinley, and Lauren Tsai.

Marcello Hernandez will debut his first ever stand-up special on Netflix January 7. In front of a hometown crowd in Miami, Marcello shares laugh-out-loud experiences of growing up as a first-generation American. 

Jimmy Kimmel has signed a new one year extension to continue hosting Jimmy Kimmel Live! on ABC. The previous deal had him hosting through May 2026, and will now host through May 2027. 

A new season of Alaska State Troopers premieres January 7 on A&E. The docuseries, which ran for eight seasons on cable from 2009-2015, gives an inside look at the law enforcement teams who serve and protect the communities in Alaska’s vast territory. In America’s largest and wildest state, just 400 Alaska State Troopers are responsible for patrolling hundreds of miles in Fairbanks and the Mat-Su Valley and serve more than 230 remote villages only reachable by boat or plane. From the endless light of summer to the deep freeze of winter, each one-hour episode captures these men and women as they patrol the vast frontier by land, sea, and air. Alaska is the final stop for fugitives on the run, where danger is vast, distances are brutal, and backup can be hours away. From multi-agency criminal takedowns to life-saving search and rescue missions, the series showcases a range of calls Alaska State Troopers face that are as immense and unpredictable as the state itself.

Netflix announced it has acquired the rights to Emily Giffin’s novel “All We Ever Wanted.” The book is now in development as a series adaptation with Hello Sunshine, Final Twist Productions, and Quay Street Productions set to produce. The project reunites Reese Witherspoon and Harlan Coben following their collaborative book “Gone Before Goodbye.” Should the project move forward and get picked up as a new TV series, this would mark Reese Witherspoon’s and Harlen Coben’s first TV series together. The project is a soapy and scandalous drama that uncovers the secrets and class struggles of a wealthy suburb; where a torrid love affair between a “have” Mom and “have-not” single Dad threatens to expose the sins and lies of all of those around them. 

As the world eagerly anticipates the next addition to James Cameron’s legendary saga, ABC News will premiere two new specials this December across platforms. Avatar: A New Era – Special Edition of 20/20 airs December 12 (10:00-11:00 p.m. EST), on ABC, next day on Hulu and Disney+, and a special All Access on ABC News Live Prime with Linsey Davis streams December 15 (8:00 p.m. EST), across ABC News Live, Disney+ and Hulu. 

Nominations for the 83rd Annual Golden Globes were announced today. Marlon Wayans and Skye P. Marshall presented nominees for each of the 28 award categories at a press conference at the Beverly Hilton. The ceremony airs live January 11 on CBS. 

ESPN announced more Major League Baseball game selections for key dates during the 2026 regular season. ESPN will begin its new 30-game regular season slate on Wednesday, April 15 – MLB Jackie Robinson Day – when it exclusively airs the New York Mets vs. reigning World Series Champion Los Angeles Dodgers game from Dodger Stadium at 10 p.m. ET. In addition, ESPN will exclusively air a special Memorial Day matchup on Monday, May 25, as the New York Yankees and American League M.V.P. Aaron Judge visit the Kansas City Royals and Bobby Witt, Jr. at 3:30 p.m. from Kauffman Stadium. These games join two previously announced matchups as key MLB dates for ESPN in 2026. On Thursday, July 16, the New York Mets visit the Philadelphia Phillies in MLB’s second-half opener, exclusively on ESPN at 7 p.m. ESPN will also continue as the exclusive home of the MLB Little League Classic presented by New York Life from Williamsport, Pa., home of the Little League Baseball World Series presented by T-Mobile. The 2026 matchup features the Atlanta Braves vs. the Milwaukee Brewers on Sunday, August 23, at 7 p.m.

Family drama series It’s Not Like That will premiere the first two episodes on Wonder Project’s subscription on Prime Video on January 25, with subsequent episodes of the eight-episode season debuting weekly thereafter. Wonder Project will also sample the first episode on Prime Video for all subscribers on January 25, with a global release on Prime Video to follow at a later date. The series follows Malcolm (Scott Foley), a pastor who is a recently widowed dad of three. Lori (Erinn Hayes) is newly divorced with two teens. Their families once did everything together, but now Malcolm and Lori must navigate their newly minted singledom, parenthood and the complexities of Malcolm being a modern-day pastor. Is this the beginning of a love story? It’s not like that. Or is it? 

Following the reveal of the 12 teams advancing to the 2025-26 College Football Playoff, ESPN has announced the commentator pairings for the primary telecasts throughout the full bracket. The expanded Playoff kicks off with No. 9 Alabama at No. 8 Oklahoma on Friday, Dec. 19 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC and ESPN. First-round action will continue on Saturday, Dec. 20, as ABC and ESPN will broadcast the first game of Saturday’s CFP tripleheader featuring No. 10 Miami at No. 7 Texas A&M at noon, while TNT will present No. 11 Tulane at No. 6 Ole Miss and No. 12 James Madison at No. 5 Oregon at 3:30 and 7:30 p.m., respectively. All games on ESPN networks will be available on the ESPN App, while the two first-round games airing on TNT will also be available on truTV and HBO Max. ESPN commentator teams will call every game of the Playoff. Following the CFP First Round, ESPN will present all four Playoff Quarterfinals, the two Playoff Semifinals and the 2026 CFP National Championship, slated for Monday, Jan. 19, at Miami’s Hard Rock Stadium. ESPN’s top commentary team of Chris Fowler, Kirk Herbstreit and Holly Rowe will call a TV game in every round of the second year of the expanded CFP, including kicking off first-round coverage on Friday night with Laura Rutledge. The trio will once again be joined by Molly McGrath for the College Football Playoff National Championship Presented by AT&T. The 2026 CFP National Championship in Miami will be the 12th for Fowler and Herbstreit, who have called every CFP together since the event’s inception in 2015. Sean McDonough, Greg McElroy and McGrath will call the CFP First Round game Saturday at noon alongside Taylor McGregor, plus the trio will announce a Playoff Quarterfinal and Semifinal on TV together. The ESPN crews that will call the first-round matchups on TNT Sports include Joe Tessitore, Jesse Palmer and Katie George alongside Quint Kessenich, and Bob Wischusen, Louis Riddick and Kris Budden alongside Stormy Buonantony. Tessitore, Palmer and George will also team up for one of the CFP Quarterfinals, with Dave Pasch, Dusty Dvoracek and McGregor teaming up for the other quarterfinal. Further details, including additional sideline reporters, MegaCast plans, ESPN Radio commentators and surround studio programming, will be announced in the coming weeks. 

Season five of My Life Is Murder premieres January 5 on Acorn TV. The 8-episode season features a slew of puzzling cases ranging from shady aquariums and elite cheer squads to creepy dolls and deadly island getaways. It sees eight thrilling new cases featuring dangerous villains that only Alexa Crowe can catch, but as always, she’s bringing her friends and family along for the ride. Tech whiz Madison continues to contribute her considerable technical skills to the investigations, while café owner Reuben is always there to lend a helping hand. Detective Harry remains a steady ally, while Alexa’s bad boy brother Will has proven to be handy to have around when it comes down to work. Meanwhile, Alexa’s cantankerous cat Chowder continues to stir up trouble in his own mischievous way. While soaking up the sun in Fiji, Alexa’s holiday takes a dark turn when a familiar foe resurfaces. But catching a killer isn’t her only unfinished business – she’s also reunited with Jesse, her former police partner. Is he the one that got away? With her whānau backing her every step of the way, Alexa is diving headfirst into a new wave of high-stakes cases – where buried secrets resurface and justice is never as simple as it seems, but one thing’s clear: Alexa’s not backing down.
