Oddballs is coming to Netflix October 7. The animated series follows James, a bubble-shaped boy, whose observations on life fuel his comedic rants at everyday annoyances and elevates them to laughably absurd heights. Along with his best friends Max (a talking crocodile) and Echo (a girl who claims to be from the future), James’ ridiculous schemes to question norms often result in disaster. It is inspired by James Rallison’s popular YouTube channel, TheOdd1sOut.
This holiday season, CBS will air a new hour long animated special titled Reindeer in Here. The special is the heartwarming story of how Blizzard (Blizz), a young reindeer living at the North Pole who has an unusual trait – one antler that is significantly smaller than the other – and his unique group of friends band together to save the future of Christmas. In doing so, they unknowingly create a magical holiday tradition like none other. It is based on the book by Adam Reed and will premiere November 29 following Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer.
The CW has set three Halloween themed specials in October. Mysteries Decoded Presents: Spirit Squad premieres October 3. World’s Funniest Animals: Halloween and The 13 Scariest Movies of All Time premiere October 31.
Dennis Quaid will star in HBO Max’s limited series Full Circle. He joins Zazie Beetz, Claire Danes and Timothy Olyphant in the six episode series from Steven Soderbergh.
Charlie Barnett is in discussions to join Disney+’s The Acolyte. The Star Wars series stars Amandla Stenberg, Lee Jung-jae, Jodie Turner-Smith, and Manny Jacinto.
John Bradley and Joanne Froggatt will star in Paramount+’s North Shore. The six episode series is set in Australia.
Demi Moore is in discussions to join FX’s Feud: Capote’s Women. The second season of the anthology series stars Tom Hollander, Calista Flockhart, Diane Lane, Naomi Watts and Chloë Sevigny.
Robert Patrick has joined the cast of Paramount+’s 1923. The Yellowstone prequel series stars Harrison Ford, Helen Mirren, Darren Mann, Marley Shelton, James Badge Dale, Brian Geraghty, Julia Schlapfer, Michelle Randolph, Brandon Sklenar, and Aminah Nieves.
HBO Max is no longer moving forward on its Constantine series from J.J. Abrams. They are also not moving forward on their Madame Xanadu series also from Abrams. Both were to be adaptations of DC comics characters.
Wendy Makkena has joined the cast of Paramount+’s Rabbit Hole. Kiefer Sutherland, Charles Dance, Meta Golding, Enid Graham, Jason Butler Harner, and Walt Klin akso star in the eight episode series.

They join hosts Rebecca Romijn and Jerry O’Connell on a luxury Princess Cruises ship through the Mediterranean.
