Prime Video has renewed Neagley for a second season. The Reacher spinoff’s renewal comes after the original series was recently renewed for a sixth season at the streamer.
CBS has renewed Big Brother for two additional seasons. The season 29 and season 30 renewals come as the 28th season wrapped for the year. Host Julie Chen Moonves announced the renewals.

Season two of Dexter: Resurrection premieres October 30 on Paramount+. The series finds Dexter Morgan (Michael C. Hall) caught between two killers – one with decades of notoriety and a lifetime of kills behind him, and the other a fresh young face terrorizing New York in ways no one has ever seen. Awkwafina: The Unlikely Cook premieres October 6 on Apple TV. The eight-episode series follows Nora Lum, aka Awkwafina, on a cross-country culinary road trip as she attempts to revive her family’s beloved Chinese restaurant.
Season four of Mike Judge’s Beavis and Butt-Head premieres October 14 on Comedy Central. The beloved misfits return with their signature brand of absurd, hilarious, and often painfully relatable antics – cementing their status as enduring pop culture icons. Having originally premiered in 1993, the series is known for its sharp wit and unfiltered take on adolescence.
New guest stars have been added to Shrinking for its upcoming fourth season. Judith Light and Scott Foley will recur throughout the upcoming season.
CBS will celebrate Halloween with themed episodes of comedies and daytime game shows. Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage, Eternally Yours, and Ghosts will air their episodes October 29. Game Shows The Price is Right and Let’s Make a Deal will air their episodes October 30.
Three additional cast members have been announced for the upcoming second season of Bloodaxe. Joining the series are Maddy Ambus, Steven Brand, and Lasse Steen. The historical drama is based on the epic true story of Erik Bloodaxe and his wife Gunnhild. No word on when the series will make its debut as it was renewed ahead of its series premiere.
Roku has ordered two Battle of the Streaming Stars specials, hosted by Terry Crews. The first one will debut on October 23 and the second in early 2027. Comedians, actors, reality stars, and creators from audiences’ favorite shows will trade the couch for the field, going head-to-head in larger-than-life challenges inspired by the shows and movies people love. In each hour-long special, three teams of four battle it out through several rounds in pursuit of a single prize: the Golden Roku Remote. Kay Adams will join the competition from the sidelines, bringing her sports expertise and on-camera energy to the action while capturing the strategy and smack talk. Yvette Nicole Brown will serve as the competition’s referee, keeping the stars – and their rivalries – in check. Competitors in the first-ever Battle of the Streaming Stars will be announced in the coming weeks.
Peacock is developing the drama series The Chairman. Eddie Murphy will star in the project. The series marks Muphy’s first television series regular role since he left NBC’s Saturday Night Live in 1984.
Production has begun on season three of Landman. Colm Feore, Mustafa Speaks, Bobbi Salvor Menuez, and Francesca Xuereb have been upped to series regulars on the Paramount+ series. Anthony Anderson will host Soul Train Awards 2026, airing November 27 on BET and CBS. Netflix announced today that award-winning presenter Rebecca Lowe, one of soccer’s most seasoned and respected broadcast voices, will join the network’s broadcast team for the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2027 as a lead host, streaming live only on Netflix in the U.S. and Canada. The addition marks another milestone for Netflix’s historic coverage of the tournament, which will feature English and Spanish-language broadcasts in the United States, and English and French-language broadcasts in Canada.
