All five seasons of Moonlighting will begin streaming on hulu October 10. The 67 episode star Cybill Shepherd and Bruce Willis, complete with the original title track recording by Al Jarreau. Each classic episode has been remastered in HD from the original film source. When former fashion model Maddie Hayes goes broke and finds that one of her few remaining assets is ownership of the Blue Moon Detective Agency, she’s tempted to liquidate it until she meets the quirky employees and gets involved in their even quirkier cases.
FBI True will make its CBS debut October 3. The Paramount+ series along with never aired episodes will make their TV debut. The series pulls no punches as the agents share emotional stories with each other. They relive the heart-stopping moments of their biggest cases, revealing new details of how they foiled major criminal and terrorist plots. Each week, it will introduce audiences to courageous agents who took great personal risks in the line of duty. Each episode will either focus on a single case or two cases where agents had to make hair-trigger decisions where lives hung in the balance. Upcoming episodes include agents from the Ruby Ridge standoff giving viewers insiders’ accounts never before heard; the race to catch a terrorist who planted a truck bomb in Times Square in 2010; and the mole hunt leading to FBI agent Robert Hanssen, the spy who betrayed his country and sold America’s secrets.
Season two of Barmageddon premieres on USA Network November 13. Buddies Blake Shelton and Carson Daly star in the fun-filled celebrity game show where everyone lets loose and anything goes. Nikki Garcia brings the heat as host. The superstar trio goes all in on a good time as they head to Nashville and invite the audience into Blake’s bar, Ole Red, for a front row seat as their celebrity friends compete in over-the-top bar games. In each episode, two celebrities play a unique set of five games in the bar to win a much-needed prize for a viral Internet sensation each has chosen to support. Plucked from obscurity following their epic misadventures online, these now-infamous stars find themselves at Ole Red hoping to be redeemed. The competition heats up when the losing rival of each round has a chance to even the score by spinning the Wheel of Redemption, a risky move with hilarious consequences. Ultimately, the winning team takes home a prize while the losing celebrity must accept the shame of defeat. But this is Barmageddon – even if they don’t win, at least they had fun trying. A special holiday episode will also air December 4 on NBC.
Docuseries Living for the Dead premieres on hulu October 18. Five fabulous, queer ghost hunters criss-cross the country, helping the living by healing the dead. As they explore some of the world’s most infamous haunted locations, they’ll shed light on those not seen and illuminate untold stories. Together they’ll push past boundaries to bring acceptance to the misunderstood – living and dead.
MaryLand will premiere on PBS Masterpiece April 7. The the three-part miniseries stars Suranne Jones, Eve Best and Stockard Channing. The series is a story about two sisters, about what binds them together and what has driven them apart. Becca and Rosaline find themselves thrown together by the sudden death of their mother, Mary. They come to find out that she was living an entirely secret life on the Isle of Man, far from her home with her husband, Becca and Rosaline’s father. As the sisters travel through the early days of grief and discover their mother’s secrets, they meet their mother’s quirky friend Cathy who seems to know more about their mother than they do. Becca and Rosaline find themselves asking fundamental questions about their identities and the relationships with the men in their lives. Mary’s death offers them a chance to not only reframe their relationship but fundamentally reshape who they are. At its heart, it is a love story of two sisters.
The Curse will premiere on Paramount+ with Showtime November 10 and on air Showtime November 12. The genre-bending series explores how an alleged curse disturbs the relationship of a newly married couple as they try to conceive a child while co-starring in their new home-improvement show. The series stars Emma Stone, Nathan Fielder and Benny Safdie. Guest stars include Barkhad Abdi, Corbin Bernsen, and Constance Shulman.

Deborah Roberts has been named the new co-anchor of ABC’s 20/20. Roberts has served as contributing anchor since Amy Robach left the network earlier this year. Roberts has been reporting for the long running new magazine series since 1995.
True crime series Deadly Women is set to premiere on Viaplay October 10. The series explores three of the biggest and most sensational murder cases in recent Danish history, including a mother who got away with killing her husband until years later when she murdered her son-in-law, and an attention seeking nurse at Nykøbing Falster Hospital who killed several patients after overdosing them then trying to revive them. Additionally, true crime series The Priest From Hell will premiere October 24 on Viaplay. The two episode docuseries follows the shocking case of Thomas Gotthard, a manipulative priest who nearly convinced everyone that his wife left town when he had actually murdered her and gruesomely disposed of her body.
Billionaire Island is coming to Netflix in 2024. The series stars Trine Wiggen, Svein Roger Karlsen, Kåre Conradi, and Oddgeir Thune, among others. Bjarne Brøndbo, the lead singer of the Norwegian rock group D.D.E, is featured in a supporting role. In the series we meet two families in a small coastal community in Norway, who are sworn enemies in the global salmon industry. The series, which taps into the contemporary zeitgeist, delivers a funny as well as dramatic portrait of the fish farming business.

The Enfield Poltergeist premieres on Apple TV+ October 27. In 1977, the terrifying haunting of an everyday family in Enfield, London, dominated headlines across the United Kingdom and had a tremendous impact on an entire generation of children. The mysterious case forever changed ideas about the supernatural and that it wasn’t just restricted to castles and stately homes but could be experienced by anyone, anywhere. The chilling story has inspired fictionalized versions of the case, including the film “The Conjuring 2,” a television series and two stage plays. Throughout four episodes, the events at Enfield are reconstructed using the real recordings captured by Maurice Grosse, a paranormal investigator who archived all of his interviews with those affected by the phenomenon. Building a replica of the house where the incidents took place, performers reenact what is heard on the actual tapes, allowing an interplay by the archival voices and appearances of those originally involved in the incident through present-day interviews.

Two part event Murdaugh Murders: The Movie will premeire on Lifetime October 14 and 15. It follows the twisted true story of Alex Murdaugh played by Bill Pullman, who was found guilty in the double homicide of his wife, Maggie and his son, Paul. For over 100 years, the wealthy and powerful Murdaugh Family were a local dynasty in the South Carolina low country, where they oversaw the prosecution of all criminal cases in the state’s 14th circuit district. But behind all the power, black ties, and fancy dresses Alex had many secrets… Even with all of Alex’s influence, he couldn’t prevent The Murdaugh Family’s legacy from being tarnished after Paul was involved in a boating accident that left a young girl dead. While Maggie was consumed with what was happening with Paul, Alex was hiding his addiction to opioids and stealing insurance settlements from his own clients to fund his habit and the family’s lavish lifestyle. Then in June 2021, Maggie and Paul were found murdered and eyes began to turn to Alex.
