Showtime’s upcoming new series I Love That For You will premiere April 29 streaming and on demand ahead of its linear premiere May 1 at 8:30. The series stars Vanessa Bayer, Molly Shannon and Jenifer Lewis. Inspired by Bayer’s own story of overcoming childhood leukemia, the eight episode season centers on Joanna Gold who dreams of becoming a host at a home shopping channel. Working to shed her life-long label as “that cancer girl,” she moves away from her parents, starts a budding romance for the first time in her adult life and forms a meaningful friendship with her idol Jackie, the charismatic star of the network, all against the backdrop of a highly competitive workplace where people play dirty to succeed.
Detective Conan: Zero’s Tea Time will premiere on Netflix this July. The anime series is a spinoff of the long running Detective Conan focusing on a mysterious man with three faces. A detective who’s also a public security agent and a member of a shadowy organization juggles his triple identities.
HBO’s Barry returns for its third season April 24. Desperate to leave his violent past behind in favor of his newfound passion, Barry is attempting to untangle himself from the world of contract killing and fully immerse himself in acting. But getting out is messy. While Barry has eliminated many of the external factors that pushed him towards violence, he soon discovers they weren’t the only forces at play. What is it about his own psyche that led him to become a killer in the first place? Season three finds Barry and the other characters trying to make the right choice.
Season nineteen of The Bachelorette will premiere on ABC July 11. Jesse Palmer will return as host for the new season which will feature two leading ladies for the first time ever. Gabby Windey and Rachel Recchia will both set out on a journey to find love.
NBC is pulling The Courtship from Sundays. The rest of the season will now air on USA Network starting March 23 at 11, following Temptation Island. A new episode of Weakest Link will fill the timeslot this week then repeats of American Song Contest will air in its place.
Swedish series Clark will premiere on Netflix May 5. The series stars Bill Skarsgård as Clark Olofsson, the notorious Swedish bank robber, and the man whose actions inspired the expression “The Stockholm syndrome”.
Worst Cooks in America Celebrity Edition: That’s So 90’s will premiere on Food Network April 24. Joining Anne Burrell in the new season is first time mentor Jeff Mauro. The two will transform a roster of retro celebrity recruits from clueless in the kitchen to totally rad cooks. The celebrity recruits taking part in the season are Lori Beth Denberg, Elisa Donovan, Tracey Gold, Jennie Kwan, Matthew Lawrence, Mark Long, Jodie Sweetin, Nicholle Tom, and Curtis Williams.
Season three of Portals to Hell will premiere on Travel Channel April 9. Over thirteen episodes, Jack Osbourne and Katrina Weidman confront disturbing activity and malevolent entities that have left those that crossed their path shaking in fear. Apple TV+’s limited series The Essex Serpent will premiere May 13. The series stars Tom Hiddleston and Claire Danes and is based on the book by Sarah Perry. The six episode Victorian drama follows a woman who moves to Essex to investigate reports of a mythical serpent. She forms an unlikely bond with the village vicar, but when tragedy strikes, locals accuse her of attracting the creature.
Joe Buck and Troy Aikman are officially heading to ESPN to announce Monday Night Football. The upcoming Football season will mark their 21st NFL season in the booth together, matching the legendary Pat Summerall and John Madden’s all-time record as on-air NFL partners. The two will also contribute content to ESPN+ as part of their deals.
To celebrate National Panda Day, Jack Black announced he will reprise his role as the Kung Fu Panda, Po, in the new Netflix series Kung Fu Panda: The Dragon Knight. When a mysterious pair of weasels set their sights on a collection of four powerful weapons, Po must leave his home to embark on a globe-trotting quest for redemption and justice that finds him partnered up with a no-nonsense English knight named Wandering Blade. Together, these two mismatched warriors set out on an epic adventure to find the magical weapons first and save the world from destruction – and they may even learn a thing or two from each other along the way.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s series Servant Of The People is back on Netflix to stream in the US. In the series, Zelensky plays a teacher who surprisingly becomes President after a video of him goes viral.
The Ellen DeGeneres Show has set an end date for the long running talk show. The final episode will air May 26. Leading up to the finale, the series will feature many celebrity guests to help send off the series. Guest hosts, compilation episodes and repeat episodes will fill the show’s time period over the summer.
Katherine McNamara has been cast in The CW’s Walker: Independence pilot. The potential Walker prequel series is set in the 1800. He joins Justin Johnson Cortez, Matt Barr, Greg Hovanessian, Lawrence Kao, and Philemon Chambers.
Jodie Comer will star in HBO’s Big Swiss. The series is based on the book by Jen Beagin. This will be Comer’s follow up series now that Killing Eve is currently airing its final season.
Scott Bakula has joined the cast of NBC’s Unbroken pilot. The casting is a bit of a surprise as NBC is developing a Quantum Leap revival series pilot, picking up years after Bakula starred in the original. Unbroken follows three dynastic ranch families on the central coast of California [that] make love and war in a passionate struggle to survive, ultimately setting the stage for a group of fiercely determined young women to win big for all at the National Championship of Rodeo.
Netflix is testing a new plan which would charge an extra fee for subscribers who share their account with members outside of their household. The rollout in Costa Rica, Peru and Chile charges customers $2 – $3. After, the streamer could implement the plan for their worldwide customer base.
Chance Perdomo is joining the cast of Prime Video’s The Boys spinoff series set at a college. He joins Jaz Sinclair, Lizze Broadway, Reina Hardesty and Maddie Phillips. Aimee Carrero and Shane Paul McGhie recently exited the project as their characters were redeveloped. Perdomo will be playing one of the redeveloped characters.
Amanda Warren has joined the cast of CBS’s East New York pilot. She will play a deputy inspector who uses creative methods to serve and protect the community of East New York.

Craig Melvin is scaling back his role at MSNBC to focus on his role on Today. He will exit Craig Melvin Reports April 1 and fill in anchors will host ahead of a new show yet to be announced during the 11AM time slot. Melvin is a co-host of the third hour of Today.

The supernatural ghost hunting series will star Ruby Stokes, Cameron Chapman, Ali Hadji-Heshmati, Ivanno Jeremiah, Luke Treadaway, Morven Christie, Ben Crompton, Hayley Konadu, Rhianna Dorris and Paddy Holland. The eight episode series follows a group of gifted teenage ghost hunters who unravel a mystery that will change the course of history.
CCH Pounder, Jason Watkins and Fiona Shaw have joined the cast of Prime Video’s Anansi Boys. The series is an adaptation of Neil Gaiman’s book. They join L. Scott Caldwell, Joy Richardson, and Lachele Carl.
Netflix’s Mike Myers six episode series The Pentaverate will premiere May 5. HBO’s We Own This City will premiere April 25. The series based on true events and the book by Justin Fenton, the series chronicles the rise and fall of the Baltimore Police Department’s Gun Trace Task Force and the corruption and moral collapse that befell an American city in which the policies of drug prohibition and mass arrest were championed at the expense of actual police work.
Starz’s Watergate limited series Gaslit premieres April 24. The series focuses on the untold stories and forgotten characters of the scandal. From Nixon’s bumbling and opportunistic subordinates to the deranged zealots aiding and abetting their crimes to the tragic whistleblowers who would eventually bring the whole rotten enterprise crashing down.

A trailer for the second season of Komi Can’t Communicate has been released ahead of its premiere in Japan. The series streams on Netflix in the US. No date has been set but it will premiere in 2022.
