HBO Max has renewed Rap Sh!t for a second season. The series follows two estranged high school friends from Miami, Shawna and Mia, who reunite to form a rap group. The series stars Aida Osman, KaMillion, Jonica Booth, Devon Terrell and RJ Cyler. 

Season 48 of Saturday Night Live will premiere on NBC October 1. The season will continue on October 8 and October 15 with new episodes. Cast additions, hosts and musical guests will be announced at a later date. 

Season two of Abbott Elementary premieres September 21 on ABC. The series follows a group of dedicated, passionate teachers, and a slightly tone-deaf principal, who are brought together in a Philadelphia public school where, despite the odds stacked against them, they are determined to help their students succeed in life. Though these incredible public servants may be outnumbered and underfunded, they love what they do — even if they don’t love the school district’s less-than-stellar attitude toward educating children.

Netflix’s Entergalactic premieres September 30. The series follows a young artist named Jabari as he attempts to balance love and success. Finding the latter brings Jabari a step closer to the former, when moving into his dream apartment introduces him to his new neighbor, photographer it-girl Meadow. An explosion of art, music and fashion, the series takes place in the only city that can handle all three: New York.

Fox’s The Cleaning Lady returns for season two September 19. The season picks up with Thony desperately trying to find her son, Luca, after he was kidnapped by his father, Marco. With nowhere else to turn, she enlists the help of FBI Agent Garrett Miller to track him down before they leave the country. Meanwhile, an incident involving Chris forces Fiona to shield her son by any means necessary, furthering the theme of how far a mother will go to protect her child.

Disney announced the upcoming special Werewolf By Night will premiere on Disney+ October 7. On a dark and somber night, a secret cabal of monster hunters emerge from the shadows and gather at the foreboding Bloodstone Temple following the death of their leader. In a strange and macabre memorial to the leader’s life, the attendees are thrust into a mysterious and deadly competition for a powerful relic—a hunt that will ultimately bring them face to face with a dangerous monster.

Disney+’s Secret Invasion will premiere on the streamer in 2023. The series stars Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury and Ben Mendelsohn as the Skrull Talos – characters who first met in Captain Marvel. The crossover comic event series showcases a faction of shape-shifting Skrulls who have been infiltrating Earth for years. The Disney+ series Armor Wars starring Don Cheadle will pick up following the events of Secret Invasion. 

Andor premieres on Disney+ September 21. The series series explores a new perspective from the Star Wars galaxy, focusing on Cassian Andor’s journey to discover the difference he can make. The series brings forward the tale of the burgeoning rebellion against the Empire and how people and planets became involved. It’s an era filled with danger, deception and intrigue where Cassian will embark on the path that is destined to turn him into a rebel hero.

Tales of the Jedi premieres on Disney+ October 26. The anthology series will feature six shorts. Each story features Jedi from the prequel era. 

Season three of The Mandalorian will premiere in 2023. The series continues the journey of The Mandalorian and Grogu. 

Willow premieres November 30 on Disney+. The series is based on the 1988 film and is an epic period fantasy series with a modern sensibility set in an enchanted land of breathtaking beauty. The story began with an aspiring magician from a Nelwyn village and an infant girl destined to unite the realms, who together helped destroy an evil queen and banish the forces of darkness. Now, in a magical world where brownies, sorcerers, trolls, and other mystical creatures flourish, the adventure continues, as an unlikely group of heroes set off on a dangerous quest to places far beyond their home, where they must face their inner demons and come together to save their world.

Percy Jackson and the Olympians will premiere in 2023 on Disney+. The series tells the fantastical story of a 12-year-old modern demigod, Percy Jackson, who’s just coming to terms with his newfound supernatural powers when the sky god Zeus accuses him of stealing his master lightning bolt. Now Percy must trek across America to find it and restore order to Olympus.

Season two of Big Shot will premiere on Disney+ October 12. Marvyn’s latest plan toward relevance is to get his team broadcast on ESPN, and his method is to recruit an unlikely player: Ava, a gutsy beach volleyball phenom whose public tantrum got her ousted from her own sport. Between losing their assistant coach Holly Barrett to a rival school, new friction amongst teammates, a sudden and unexpected proximity to boys, and off-the-court disasters that no one could’ve predicted this season, the Westbrook Sirens have even more to prove.

The Santa Clauses premieres November 16 on Disney+ with two episodes. Scott Calvin is on the brink of his 65th birthday and realizing that he can’t be Santa forever. He’s suddenly starting to lose his Santa magic; and, more importantly, he’s got a family who could benefit from a life in the normal world, especially his two kids who have grown up at the North Pole. With a lot of elves, children and family to please, Scott sets out to find a suitable replacement Santa while preparing his family for a new adventure in a life south of the pole. 

National Treasure: Edge of History will premiere on Disney+ December 14 with two episodes. The series centers on the young heroine Jess – a brilliant and resourceful DREAMer with a natural talent for solving puzzles and a proclivity for unraveling good mysteries. In search of answers about her own family, Jess embarks on the adventure of a lifetime and recruits a few treasure-hunting friends – Tasha, Ethan, Oren and Liam – and an FBI agent to help uncover the truth about her parents and their connection to a long-lost Pan-American treasure.

Marvel’s Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur premieres on Disney Channel February 10. The series follows the adventures of 13-year-old super-genius Lunella Lafayette and her 10-ton T-Rex, Devil Dinosaur. After Lunella accidentally brings Devil Dinosaur into present-day New York City, the duo works together to protect the city’s Lower East Side from danger. 

Season two of The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder will premiere in February 2023 on Disney+. The series picks up the story of its central character, Penny Proud, and includes her madcap family: parents Oscar and Trudy, twin siblings BeBe and CeCe, and grandmother Suga Mama (and Puff!). Of course, it would not be The Proud Family without Penny’s loyal crew: Dijonay Jones, LaCienega Boulevardez, Zoey Howzer and Maya Leibowitz-Jenkins, among others. 

Starz announced a pilot order for and untitled genre-busting series that blends interviews with celebrities and high-profile guests with an elevated documentary style format. Fat Joe will serve as host. 

Paramount+’s new animated series Transformers: EarthSpark premieres November 11 with the first ten episodes. The series introduces a new generation of Transformers robots called Terrans – the first Transformers robots to be born on Earth – and together with the humans who welcome them in and care for them, they’ll redefine what it means to be a family. 

The Boulet Brothers’ Dragula: Titans will premiere on Shudder October 25 . The series is a spinoff of the series The Boulet Brothers’ Dragula. Contestants from past seasons will compete for the $100,000 grand prize. Episodes will also stream on AMC+. 

Patton Oswalt returns to Netflix for his fourth comedy special Patton Oswalt: We All Scream September 20. Filmed at Paramount Theatre in Denver, Colorado, Oswalt discusses what happens to our bodies as we get older, who he could have been had he just followed the list he created during the lockdown, the Baby Boomer’s last temper tantrum and much more. 

Panhandle premieres on Spectrum September 26. The series pairs an eccentric, agoraphobic arm-chair detective Bell Prescott with a reluctant traffic cop Cammie Lorde in a series that showcases community, connection, and yes, only-in-Florida characters. When a dead body winds up on Prescott’s doorstep, he and Cammie are forced to wrestle with personal demons, some shocking twists and a few Florida gators on their journey to heal themselves and their small Florida town. 

exception premieres on Netflix October 13. In the far future, humanity has been driven from Earth and forced to move its population to another galaxy. Members of a scouting team are sent to search for a planet suitable for terraforming. The crew is created through a biological 3D printer, but a system malfunction causes one of the crew members, Lewis, to emerge in a deformed state. As Lewis turns on his fellow crew members Nina, Mack, Patty and Oscar, a countdown to the end of the mission begins in the frightening darkness of the ship. 

Docuseries 11 Minutes premieres on Paramount+ September 27. The four episode series takes viewers inside the heart-stopping stories of terror and survival experienced by those who were at the 2017 Route 91 Harvest Music Festival in Las Vegas. It features the first in-depth interview with country music superstar Jason Aldean, who was on stage when the first burst of automatic gun fire shattered the night. When it was over, 58 people were dead and more than 800 were injured. 

Wanna premieres on Netflix September 21. The series follows the incredible story of Wanna Marchi, the biggest scammer in the history of Italian Television, and her empire of money and lies. 

Showtime’s docuseries The Lincoln Project premieres October 7. The five episode series follows the members of the Lincoln Project over the course of the 2020 election and its aftermath. The group consists of former GOP operatives and strategists and is the fastest-growing super PAC in America. They take on the task of “saving democracy” and defeating their own party’s sitting president. 

My Little Pony: Make Your Mark will premiere on Netflix September 26. Magic has finally returned to Equestria thanks to Sunny Starscout and her new friends! The Pegasi can fly and the Unicorns can use levitation again… and the Earth Ponies have activated their own special magic for the very first time in history. It’s a whole new world! Which is exhilarating… but, well, also a little scary and strange. And now that Sunny is an Alicorn with powers, there’s a lot to figure out.
