Poker Face premieres on Peacock January 26. The 10-episode “mystery-of-the-week” series follows Natasha Lyonne’s Charlie, who has an extraordinary ability to determine when someone is lying. She hits the road with her Plymouth Barracuda and with every stop encounters a new cast of characters and strange crimes she can’t help but solve.
Season two of Harlem premieres on Prime Video February 3. In Season Two, after blowing up her career and disrupting her love life, Camille (Meagan Good) has to figure out how to put the pieces back together; Tye (Jerrie Johnson) considers her future; Quinn (Grace Byers) goes on a journey of self-discovery; and Angie’s (Shoniqua Shandai) career takes a promising turn. The eight episode season will see two episodes premiere weekly.
Season three of Truth Be Told will premiere on Apple TV+ January 20. Based on the novel “While You Were Sleeping” by Kathleen Barber, Truth Be Told offers a unique glimpse into America’s obsession with true crime podcasts and challenges its viewers to consider the consequences when the pursuit of justice is placed on a public stage. In season three, Poppy (Octavia Spencer), frustrated by the lack of media attention for several young missing Black girls, teams with an unorthodox principal (Gabrielle Union) to keep the victims’ names in the public eye, while chasing down leads to a suspected sex trafficking ring that may have ensnared them.
Are You the One? premieres on Paramount+ January 18. In the most ambitious dating experiment ever attempted, 22 recently single men and women from around the globe were put through an extensive matchmaking process to find their “perfect match.” Hailing from around the world and living together under one roof at an international location, these singles will have a shared goal: to find “the one.” Each week, the singles will have an opportunity to find their match, and if they can identify all 11 perfect matches at the same time, they’ll split a massive cash prize.
Nicole Kidman will star in Paramount+’s upcoming new series Lioness. She will star alongside Zoe Saldaña and Laysla De Oliveira. The series is based on a real-life CIA program and follows Cruz Manuelos (De Oliveira), a rough-around-the-edges but passionate young Marine recruited to join the CIA’s Lioness Engagement Team to help bring down a terrorist organization from within. Saldaña will play Joe, the station chief of the Lioness program tasked with training, managing and leading her female undercover operatives. Kidman will play Kaitlyn Meade, the CIA’s senior supervisor who has had a long career of playing the politics game. She must juggle the trappings of being a woman in the high-ranking intelligence community, a wife who longs for the attention she herself can’t even give and a mentor to someone veering suspiciously close to the same rocky road she’s found herself on.
Saturday Night Live returns for three new episodes beginning January 21. Aubrey Plaza will host January 1. Musical guest will be Sam Smith. Michael B. Jordan will host January 28 with musical guest Lil Baby. A third episode will air February 4 with host and musical guest to be announced later.
AMC will not be moving forward with the second season of 61st Street and new series Invitation to a Bonfire. 61st Street had filmed its entire season with Invitation to a Bonfire filming a good portion of its series order. The news comes following AMC reversing its second season order of Moonhaven.
Syfy has canceled Astrid & Lilly Save the World after one season. The series followed two high schoolers who get thrust into a life of monster hunting. The campy series was a lot of fun and I will personally miss it!
MTV has ordered The Real Friends of WeHo set to premiere Januray 20 on MTV. The series will follow the lives of celebrity stylist Brad Goreski, choreographer and singer Todrick Hall, actor Curtis Hamilton, CEO of Buttah Skincare Dorión Renaud, TV host and business owner Jaymes Vaughan, and digital entrepreneur Joey Zauzig.
The 1619 Project premieres on hulu January 26. The six episode docuseries is an expansion of “The 1619 Project” created by Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Nikole Hannah-Jones and the New York Times Magazine. The series seeks to reframe the country’s history by placing the consequences of slavery and the contributions of Black Americans at the very center of our national narrative.
Season two of Love & Marriage: D.C. will premiere on OWN January 21. The new season will introduce a new power couple to the group, Joi Carter and Clifton Pettie, who became instantly smitten on the Potomac iteration of OWN’s Ready to Love series in 2021, and were engaged earlier this year. The series will also continue to follow Erana and Jamie Tyler, and Ashley Silva and her husband on-air personality DJ Quicksilva. A one-hour season one recap special for Love & Marriage: D.C. will air on January 14 to get viewers caught up and ready for a new season of drama.

The third and final season of Wu-Tang: An American Saga will premiere on hulu February 15. Off the release of their debut album and their continued rise to fame, we follow the Wu-Tang Clan over the course of their five-year plan as they face and overcome different challenges. While each of the members go on separate journeys to figure out where they fit in the music world, RZA struggles to stay on top of things in order to fulfill the promise he made to his Wu brothers. As money, fame, ego, and business threaten to tear the group apart, they must find a way to come together and cement their legacy.
New seasons of Biography: WWE Legends and WWE Rivals will premiere on A&E February 19. Airing back-to-back each Sunday, the series continue to explore the lives and careers of some of the most iconic WWE Superstars through unprecedented access, interviews, and footage.
Two episodes of American Pickers will premiere on The History Channel January 11 and January 25. Mike Wolfe and the team are on a mission to recycle America and restore forgotten relics while learning a thing or two about American history along the way. The pickers will meet with rockstar Jack White in Detroit.
Prince Harry will appear on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert January 10 on CBS. The interview with Prince Harry will be his first appearance which coincides with the release date of his new memoir, Spare. With its raw, unflinching honesty, Spare is a landmark publication full of insight, revelation, self-examination and hard-won wisdom about the eternal power of love over grief.
Lisa Rinna will not be returning to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Rinna joined the series in season five and has appeared in eight seasons of the Bravo show.
Ruth Negga has been cast in Apple TV+’s Presumed Innocent. She will star alongside Jake Gyllenhaal inspired by the book by Scott Turow.
Paramount+ and Delta have teamed up to deliver and exclusive in-flight streaming experience. Starting this spring, Delta loyalty members on planes originating in the U.S. will have access to a special free trial of the Paramount+ Premium service of popular content that spans breaking news, championship sports and a mountain of entertainment.
Break Point will premiere on Netflix January 13. The series follows a diverse group of tennis players on and off the court as they compete in gruelling slams with hopes of winning a final and even bigger dreams of becoming world number one. Break Point gets up close and personal with top players on the tennis circuit through an entire year travelling across the globe for all four Grand Slams and the ATP and WTA tours. An additional five episodes will follow in June 2023
Season four of 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way will premiere on TLC January 29. Companion series The Other Way: Pillow Talk will also premiere January 29.
