Season four of Love is Blind premieres on Netflix March 24. Singles who want to be loved for who they are, rather than what they look like, have signed up for a less conventional approach to modern dating in Seattle where they hope to meet the person they want to spend the rest of their lives with…without ever having seen them. With no distractions from the outside world, the singles talk to a stream of potential love interests and when a meaningful connection is made, they propose and then lay their eyes on their fiancé for the first time. Hosted by Nick and Vanessa Lachey, this addictive series will uncover whether looks, race or age do matter, or if love really is blind.

Blindspotting returns for season two on Starz April 14. The new season returns to Oakland, CA where Ashley is trying- with mixed results- to adjust to her “new normal,” raising her son Sean alone while Miles, her partner of 12 years and new husband, is serving time in San Quentin Prison. The sophomore season maintains a lighthearted and fun tone while simultaneously tackling complex issues with a comedic and innovative twist, spotlighting the hilarious hijinks Ashley and family get into as she attempts to navigate the crazy chaos of her life in the Bay Area.
Jenna Ortega is hosting Saturday Night Live March 11 on NBC. This will be her first time as host of the late night comedy series. Musical guest The 1975 will be performing for the second time.
The Big Door Prize will premiere on Apple TV+ March 29. Based on M.O. Walsh’s novel of the same name, the ten episode season tells the story of a small town that is forever changed when a mysterious machine appears in the general store, promising to reveal each resident’s true life potential. Dusty Hubbard, a seemingly content, cheerful family man and high school teacher, watches everyone around him reevaluate their life choices and ambitions – based on the machine’s printouts – and is forced to question whether he is truly as happy as he once thought. While he remains skeptical of the machine, his wife, Cass, indulges in the dream that there’s something bigger out there for her. Like many of Deerfield’s residents, the couple has lived a relatively safe, uncomplicated life, until the arrival of the Morpho machine. However, all of that is about to change when the community is forced to reconcile with their unfulfilled achievements in pursuit of a better future.
Melissa Benoist has joined the cast of Masters of the Universe: Revolution as Teela. She replaces Sarah Michelle Gellar who voiced the role in the first series Masters of the Universe: Revelation. Benoist joins her husband Chris Wood who voices He-Man. The followup series joins Teela alongside He-Man and the rest of the Masters as they struggle to save Eternia from the tangles of darkness. Revolution is an all-new story that focuses on the classic He-Man vs. Skeletor rivalry in a way audiences have never seen before. It’s technology up against magic as He-Man and the heroic warriors face the forces of Skeletor and a deadly threat to the Planet in the next epic chapter in the battle for Eternia. It will premiere in 2024 on Netflix.
Production on MGM+’s Belgravia: The Next Chapter has begun. The series is a continuation of the hit historical drama named for – and set in – the affluent London district that became synonymous with the upper echelons of London society in the 19th century. It picks up in 1871, three decades after the events depicted in the 2020 limited series. The series tells the love story of Frederick Trenchard, who has grown up as the third Lord Trenchard, and his new love interest, Clara Dunn, who is a newcomer to London society. Unaware that his birth was the product of an affair between his mother Susan and the scoundrel John Bellasis, a troubled childhood has left Frederick deeply insecure, which challenges his courtship of and marriage to Clara. Joining the cast as series regulars are Harriet Slater, Ben Wainwright, Edward Bluemel, Sophie Thompson, and Elaine Cassidy. Toby Regbo, Hannah Onslow, Sophie Thompson, and Sophie Winkleman will recur.
A&E has ordered Kings of BBQ, a new unscripted series starring Anthony Anderson and Cedric the Entertainer. The two take their love of barbeque to the next level and work together to start their own barbeque empire, AC Barbeque. To perfect the products and learn all they can about the art form, the two friends head out on a culinary adventure to discover the best techniques, flavors, and traditions for mouthwatering barbeque across America. Each episode will follow Cedric and Anthony as they meet with barbeque chefs, pitmasters and everyday experts who share their knowledge and secrets of the trade, highlighting Black Excellence in the industry along the way. From backyards to BBQ pits, the duo will go behind the scenes to master barbeque in all its glory and create a business of their own that honors its legacy and flavors. Along the way, celebrity friends and family will join in on the fun and help share how different cultures and experiences have influenced the delicious cooking technique.
The History Channel has ordered Black Patriots: The 761st Battalion. Featuring Morgan Freeman, the two episode docuseries will tell the true story of the 761st Tank Battalion, the first Black tank unit to serve in combat during WWII, and explore in-depth the two major battles they faced – the expansion of Nazism in Europe and racism, oppression, and inequality at home. Formed in the spring of 1942, these units of soldiers played a significant role in military operations during the war against Nazi Germany. However, while the majority Black battalion was fighting one battle overseas, they were simultaneously fighting another in their home country – against racism, segregation, and inequality. Freeman will interview one of the last surviving members of the 761st, as well as the current and first Black Secretary of Defense, Secretary Lloyd Austin, alongside new and archival interviews, period footage, still photographs and new commentary and stories from family and relatives of the Black Panther soldiers.
Docuseries Time of Essence will premiere on OWN this summer. The series is a celebration of the trailblazing magazine that reaches a global community of over 20 million Black women and has revealed some of the most captivating and influential covers of the past half-century. The series will tell the story of how ESSENCE has informed and reflected Black culture in America for over 50 years. Each episode explores a different decade – from the ’70s to today – and features first-hand commentary on that era’s biggest moments from the icons, trailblazers, staffers and leaders who lived and defined them. This candid commentary is coupled with never-before-seen footage and exclusive behind-the-scenes moments from the worlds of entertainment, sports, politics, fashion and beauty.
The History Channel has ordered Kevin Costner’s The West. Told through extraordinary characters, historical archive and distinguished expert interviews, the eight episode docuseries will capture a multi-layered portrait of the American frontier from the literal trailblazers to the law enforcers and the bloody battles for both land and freedom. By deepening the audience’s understanding of this transformative period in our country’s past, the series will also illuminate how the stories of The West continue to impact the nation today.
A&E has ordered five new Biography specials, set to premiere later this year. The specials will celebrate icons including Alice Cooper, Bret Michaels, Twisted Sister’s Dee Snider, Sammy Hagar, and Skid Row’s Sebastian Bach. Each documentary will feature exclusive interviews with each of the artists and those closest to them as well as archival footage and audio. The specials will go behind the scenes and give a backstage pass to the artists’ journeys to fame, legendary careers, and iconic music that defined the genre then and now.
Ken Jennings will return to Jeopardy! March 10. Mayim Bialik recently took over for the current High School Reunion Tournament. Bialik will then return again starting May 1 through the end of the season.
Marsha Stephanie Blake, Gabrielle Graham, John Ortiz and Tamsin Topolski have been cast in Netflix’s The Madness. They join Colman Domingo in the conspiracy thriller limited series.
Lady Gaga will not be performing at the upcoming Oscars. The other nominated songs, “Lift Me Up” from “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever”, “Applause” from “Tell It like a Woman”, “This Is a Life” from “Everything Everywhere All at Once” and “Naatu Naatu” from “RRR” will be performed. Hosted by Jimmy Kimmel, the 95th Oscars will air live on ABC and broadcast outlets worldwide on March 12.
The History Channel has ordered The Unbelievable with Dan Aykroyd. Hosted by Dan Aykroyd, the ten episode series will reveal the ‘Who?’ ‘Why?’ and ‘How?’ surrounding some of human history’s most extraordinary and astonishing tales. Featuring dynamic visuals, archival images, and expert interviews, the series will uncover some of the most mysterious and bizarre inventions, creatures, people, and things throughout history. From a 440- pound Syrian bear turned military soldier to a man who survived being shot through the head with a 43- inch iron bar, the stories may appear unbelievable, but they are 100% true.
A&E has ordered new series as well as renewed series. In Legends of the Fork Buddy Valastro travels the country in search of the most renowned American dishes and restaurants to uncover the “secret sauce” to their success. Returning to the bakery, Cake Dynasty follows Buddy and his family as they bring the Carlo’s Bakery cake empire to new levels. Cake Toppers is a new competition series where talented bakers are pitted against one another to craft creative cakes until the tables are turned. Rachael Ray Meals in Minutes is a fresh take on quick, easy, yummy meals. Rachael demonstrates her creativity and flare from her personal home kitchen, cooking a complete meal in minutes from comfort food to sophisticated fare for entertaining. 1,000 Ways to Dine will be hosted by actor and comedian Michael Yo. From a cliffside pod in the mountains of Peru to a Tokyo eatery filled with ninjas, the series takes viewers on a tour of some of the most unusual and unique restaurants – where food is just one part of the experience. Best in Chow, premiering July 9, follows comedian Matt Richards as he travels to the biggest state fairs and street scenes across the country to find America’s wildest foods and most creative cooks to judge the best of the best. Immediately following July 9, Deliciously Twisted Classics continues the hunt for outrageous eats this summer. The all-new series features a panel of celebrity chefs and culinary influencers including Aarti Sequeira, Gina Neely, Leah Cohen, Rocco DiSpirito and more as they sample the most delicious and extravagant spins on familiar dishes. Zombie House Flipping has been renewed for a sixth season.
Michael Imperioli will narrate the new History Channel series Five Families. The three episode series will explore the history of the Mafia from its rapid, violent growth in Prohibition, its golden age in the 1970s and 1980s, to the Mob’s heated war with law enforcement, through an adjustment to a new reality and criminal opportunities, breathing life back into New York’s most infamous criminal syndicate. The series also unpacks the consequences faced by the Bonanno, Colombo, Gambino, Genovese, and Lucchese families when they choose the American values of capitalism, individual wealth, and celebrity over the more traditional values of the Sicilian Mafia.
Australian series Matildas: The World at Our Feet will premiere on Disney+ April 26. The six episode series is an inspirational and intimate behind-the-scenes story of the CommBank Matildas – Australia’s women’s national football team. Following the stories of players including global superstar Sam Kerr, Ellie Carpenter, Mary Fowler and more, the Matildas reveal the sacrifices they’ve made and struggles they’ve endured as they strive to become the best in the world’s most popular sport.
Seven Kings Must Die is a followup film to the series The Last Kingdom. Many of the series’ much-loved characters will be returning, along with the introduction of several new faces. The series ran for five seasons on Netflix.
Hullraisers premieres April 5 on IFC. The six episode series follows the lives of three working-class women living in the Yorkshire city of Hull: self-described actress and chaotic mother Toni, her down-to-earth older sister Paula and best friend, policewoman Rana, as they navigate their daily lives, their chances at romance, and their dreams for the future.

The History Channel’s miniseries FDR will premiere May 29. The three consecutive night event is an epic portrait of President Franklin Delano Roosevelt, unpacking how his own fight with polio prepared him for the challenges of leading the United States through the Great Depression and World War II. Based upon Goodwin’s New York Times bestseller, “Leadership: In Turbulent Times”, viewers will experience a most harrowing, yet heroic time in history when through grit, commitment and shared sacrifice FDR was the right man at the right time to lead the U.S. and the allied nations, projecting confidence in himself and America.
