Anthony Anderson and his mother Doris Bowman are set to host Fox’s upcoming new game show We Are Family premiering January 3. The music centric guessing game show will showcase non-famous relatives of celebrities performing amazing solo performances and duets with their hidden famous family member. The series will feature a studio audience entirely comprised of 100 contestants playing through multiple rounds of clues and gameplay to win up to $150,000 each by correctly guessing which celebrity the performer is related to before they are revealed. Celebrities appearing will range from musicians and professional athletes to actors and beyond. Viewers will be encouraged to play along at home with their families to see if they can figure out the famous face behind the talented relative! Jamie Foxx and his daughter Corinne were originally set to host the series but had to pull out due to scheduling issues.
Timothée Chalamet is hosting Saturday Night Live November 11. This will be Chalamet’s second time as host. Making their first appearance will be boygenius, who will serve as musical guest.
The 50th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards have been rescheduled for December 15 on CBS. This year marks the 17th time CBS has broadcast the awards. Susan Lucci will receive her Lifetime Achievement Honors at the gala awards ceremony. The nominations were announced in April and the ceremony was delayed due to the ongoing strikes.
