Premiere dates have been set for adult swim’s Smiling Friends and Haha, You Clowns. Smiling Friends will return for season three October 5. The new season finds Pim, Charlie, Flint and the whole gang going absolutely bonkers once again, diving headfirst into their ultimate quest to spread joy upon the land. We’ll see a bunch of unexpected stuff here such as Mr. Frog running full speed at the camera, the team finally collecting all the spirit gems they need, and a totally epic showdown spectacle with an Ancient Witch of some sort. AHHHHH!!!! New series Haha, You Clowns will premiere October 19. The series which started off as an adult swim SMALLS celebrates wholesome family programming. Join the Campbell boys, three doting teenagers and their tenderhearted dad, as they live, laugh, love their way into your living rooms. They’re big dudes with big feelings who are learning to navigate life in the wake of their mother’s death, sensing her presence in everyday adventures.
Season three of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives premieres November 13 on hulu with all ten episodes. #Momtok is back, but damaging revelations and allegations threaten its future. Two more cast members from Saturday Night Live will be leaving the series before its 51st season. Heidi Gardner is leaving the NBC late night series after eight years. Michael Longfellow has also left after three years with the series.
Wayward premieres September 25 on Netflix. In the picture-perfect town of Tall Pines, sinister secrets lurk behind every closed door. Created by Mae Martin, the limited series is a thrilling and genre-bending series about the eternal struggle between one generation and the next, what happens when friendship and loyalty are put to the ultimate test, and how buried truths always find a way of coming to the surface.
Robin Hood premieres November 2 on MGM+. The series brings a modern energy to the classic tale of the roguish outlaw hero who stole from the rich and gave to the poor, and the epic love story between him and a courageous and daring Marian. It is a smart, sweeping, romantic adventure that brings historical authenticity, psychological depth, and a heightened focus on the relationship between Rob and Marian to the beloved story. Following the Norman invasion of England, Rob – a Saxon forester’s son – and Marian, the daughter of a Norman lord – fall in love and work together to fight for justice and freedom. The Real Housewives of Potomac returns for season ten October 5 on Bravo. Returning this season are housewives, Gizelle Bryant, Ashley Darby, Wendy Osefo, Stacey Rusch and Keiarna Stewart. The ladies are joined by new housewives Tia Glover, a British-Nigerian luxury real estate advisor, and Angel Massie, an outdoor experiential curator. Tia is a mother of four whose strong family values are matched by her sense of humor. Angel is married to an ex-NFL star and brings her family back to Potomac ambitiously looking to grow her business. Friendly face Jassi Rideaux returns while Monique Samuels makes her long-awaited return to the franchise and, without missing a beat, stirs the pot as a friend of the housewives.
Genie, Make a Wish will premiere October 3 on Netflix. The series follows a genie awakened after a thousand years, only to meet Ga-young, his cold and psychopathic new master. Bound by three wishes and a deadly wager, the two clash in a suspenseful yet sweet romantic comedy where survival and desire are on the line. As the Genie chillingly declares in the teaser: “He’s not your run-of-the-mill genie, but a truly evil one – To use a name you may recognize, it’s ‘Satan’.” A dark and haunting declaration that deepens the enigma around this sinister figure, promising secrets and dangers that twist far beyond the ordinary.
Original Chicago Med star Marlyne Barrett will not return for the upcoming eleventh season. Barrett, who plays ER nurse Maggie Lockwood, stepped back from the role for personal reasons.
Hilary Duff will star in the hulu single camera comedy project Pretty Ugly. The potential series is based on the book of the same name by Kirker Butler.
Professional dancer Jan Ravnik will be joining Dancing with the Stars as a pro. The dancer is well know for being a part of Taylor Swift’s The Eras Tour. The rest of the new cast will be announced on Good Morning America September 3.
Ella Hunt, Avantika, Will Angus, Jack Martin and Nicholas Duvernay have joined the cast of Mindy Kaling’s Not Suitable For Work. The hulu series revolves around five work-obsessed twenty-somethings who strive for professional success and, if they have time, personal happiness in Manhattan’s most glamorous neighborhood, Murray Hill.

Season three of docuseries Betrayal premieres September 2 on hulu. Words + Music, a new music docuseries from Gunpowder & Sky and Audible, based on Audible’s acclaimed audio series of the same name will premiere on November 30 on MGM+. It features member of the Songwriter’s Hall Of Fame Elvis Costello, nine-time Grammy winner Sheryl Crow, 13-time Grammy winner John Legend, and seven-time Grammy winner Alanis Morissette. It will feature iconic artists sharing stories about songs pivotal to their careers, followed by all-new performances of those songs either solo or with a band. ESPN’s signature morning show Get Up starring host Mike Greenberg will be joined this football season by two of the most entertaining new voices in sports media. Starting Thursday, Sept. 4, former NFL players Taylor Lewan and Will Compton, the hosts of the popular podcast and sports entertainment brand Bussin’ With The Boys’, will make appearances across ESPN platforms throughout the football season, mainly on Get Up. In addition to Get Up, Lewan and Compton will make select appearances on SportsCenter and other ESPN studio content.

ESPN announced its deep roster of NBA game commentators for the 2025-26 season. Veteran analyst Tim Legler will join ESPN’s lead NBA broadcast team, which includes Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame broadcaster Mike Breen, analyst and NBA Champion Richard Jefferson and reporter Lisa Salters.Legler, Breen, Jefferson and Salters will call the NBA Finals on ABC, the Conference Finals, high-profile first and second round games during the NBA Playoffs, a Christmas Day game and NBA Saturday Primetime on ABC – the marquee, national NBA game of the week. Legler is celebrating his 25th anniversary with ESPN, having served as an analyst since 2000.
Season 51 of Austin City Limits (ACL) will return October 4 on PBS. Two part documentary Seen & Heard: The History of Black Television premieres September 9 on HBO, followed by part two airing September 10. The series takes audiences on a two-part journey through the history of Black representation on television, showcasing how Black artists and creators both shaped and revolutionized the medium while confronting the systemic challenges that have often undermined their contributions. From early stereotypical portrayals to today’s more authentic and complex narratives, the series highlights how Black television makers have not only survived but thrived, despite the industry’s early reluctance to fully recognize their power and creativity.
Improv sketch series The Hospital will premiere September 10 on BET. The four episode limited series will air two episodes each night, concluding with the finale on September 17. The series offers a “behind-the-scenes” look at what happens when you mix improv comedy with total medical negligence. This season is set inside the most incompetent medical facility in the country. Mostly improvised, the series is performed by KevOnStage Studios’ favorite established and emerging comedic actors, stand-up comedians, and social media stars.
