Netflix has renewed Little House on the Prairie for a second season ahead of its series premiere. The series is based on Laura Ingalls Wilder’s enduring, almost 100-year-old book series about growing up in the American West in the 1800s. Part hopeful family drama, part epic survival tale, and part origin story of the American West, this fresh adaptation offers a kaleidoscopic view of the struggles and triumphs of those who shaped the frontier. Anchoring the series are Alice Halsey as the strong-willed Laura Ingalls, the young hero of the novels; Skywalker Hughes as Laura’s older sister, Mary; Luke Bracey as Pa (aka Laura’s father, Charles Ingalls); and Crosby Fitzgerald as Ma (aka Laura’s mother, Caroline Ingalls).
NBC has renewed Destination X for a second season. Hosted by Jeffrey Dean Morgan, the innovative series combines spectacular adventure travel and immersive gameplay with the ultimate guessing game. Merging fantasy with reality in this larger-than-life adventure competition series, contestants embark on the road trip of a lifetime but have no idea of their location. In order to win, they must figure out their mystery locations. Once they’re on the blacked-out Destination X bus, the journey transforms into a real-life game board, with challenges designed to offer clever clues as to their location, along with a few misdirects to keep them guessing. At the end of each episode, the contestant who places an X on a map farthest from the actual location packs their bags. The first participant to reach the final Destination X will be crowned the winner and take home $250,000. Casting for season two is currently underway.
Netflix has ordered firefighter drama series Tyler Perry’s Where There’s Smoke. The 16-episode hour-long drama is written, directed, and produced by Perry. It follows the lives of a group of firefighters as they navigate the intense challenges of their high-stakes profession while grappling with personal struggles, fractured relationships, and the emotional toll of saving lives in a world filled with danger, drama, and heartbreak. The cast includes Tyler Lepley, Mike Merrill, Da’Vinchi, Eltony Williams, Brock O’Hurn, Joe Hunter, Karen Obilom, Brittany S. Hall and more.

Prime Video has announced who will be playing Max and Chloe in Life Is Strange. The series, based on the video game, will star Grace Hopkins as Max Caufield and Maisy Stella as Chloe Price. The story follows Max, a photography student, who discovers she can rewind time while saving the life of her childhood best friend, Chloe. As she struggles to understand this new skill, the pair investigate the mysterious disappearance of a fellow student, uncovering a dark side to their town that will ultimately force them to make an impossible life or death choice that will impact them forever.
All ten episodes of The Miniature Wife premiere April 9 on Peacock. Based on the short story written by Manuel Gonzales,the series is a dramedy examining the power (im)balances between spouses Lindy (Elizabeth Banks) and Les (Matthew Macfadyen) after a technological accident induces the ultimate relationship crisis. O-T Fagbenle, Zoe Lister-Jones, Sian Clifford, Sofia Rosinsky are also series regulars with Ronny Chieng, Aasif Mandvi, Rong Fu, Tricia Black recurring.

Limited series Paris is Always a Good Idea will premiere on Hallmark+ later this year. OWN celebrates Women’s History Month with a special OWN Spotlight honoring the life and legacy of Roberta Flack. OWN Spotlight: Roberta premieres March 12 on OWN. The special traces the music icon’s journey from her early piano lounge performances to international stardom, while also highlighting her enduring commitment to civil rights and social change. Featuring rare archival footage of Ms. Flack, the program allows her to tell her story in her own words, alongside interviews with the Reverend Jesse Jackson, Peabo Bryson and more. Ms. Flack was renowned for her deeply emotive, genre-blending ballads that bridged R&B, jazz, folk and pop. Her chart-topping singles include “The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face,” “Killing Me Softly with His Song,” and “Feel Like Makin’ Love.” She also recorded several iconic hit duets with Donny Hathaway, including “Where Is the Love” and “The Closer I Get to You,” and later teamed with Peabo Bryson for “Tonight, I Celebrate My Love,” along with many other timeless classics. Over the course of her illustrious career, Ms. Flack received 13 Grammy nominations and won four awards, becoming the first artist to win Record of the Year in consecutive years (1973 and 1974). She was recently selected for induction into the National Rhythm and Blues Hall of Fame, slated for October 2026. Ms. Flack passed away in 2025 at the age of 88, leaving behind a monumental and enduring legacy.
TNT Sports today announced multi-year extensions with beloved MLB greats Jimmy Rollins and Jeff Francoeur, serving as analysts for the regular season and MLB Postseason. Joining TNT Sports in 2016, Jimmy Rollins is a World Series Champion (2008), a three-time MLB All-Star and the 2007 NL MVP. Now as a studio analyst for TBS, J-Roll is known for his vibrant personality and deep tactical knowledge of the game, drawing on his 14 years with the Philadelphia Phillies as a Golden Glove-winning shortstop. Rollins will continue his role alongside fellow studio analysts Pedro Martinez and Curtis Granderson, along with Lauren Shehadi and Adam Lefkoe as hosts. Jeff Francoeur is a hometown hero – born and raised just outside of Atlanta, “Frenchy” was drafted by the Atlanta Braves and made his debut in 2005, appearing on the cover of Sports Illustrated that same year, dubbed “The Natural.” Now in the booth for TBS after 12 years in MLB, Francoeur has become known for his dynamic and insightful commentary, along with player-centric analysis. He will continue his role as game analyst alongside play-by-play commentators Brian Anderson and Alex Faust, as well as fellow game analyst Ron Darling. MLB Tuesday on TBS will open its 2026 regular season coverage on Tuesday, March 31, with a matchup of baseball’s home run leaders from the past two seasons: 2025 Home Run Champion Cal Raleigh and the Seattle Mariners will host 2024 Home Run Champion Aaron Judge and the New York Yankees at 9:30 p.m. ET.
The Super Mario Bros. Movie will air on NBC March 21. Brooklyn plumbers Mario and his brother Luigi are transported down a mysterious pipe and wander into a magical new world. But when the brothers are separated, Mario embarks on an epic quest to find Luigi, with the help of Mushroom Kingdom resident Toad and the strong-willed ruler of the Kingdom, Princess Peach. A sequel, The Super Mario Galaxy Movie, will be in theaters worldwide beginning April 1. Ukrainian series Double Stakes premieres March 19 on Viaplay. The series follows a soldier who after being discharged from the front becomes a cop to challenge the circles of crime and corrupt officials in Ukraine’s capital, Kyiv. On his first day home from the front, Igor Shvedov sees his older brother, the only person dear to him, murdered in front of him. Unexpectedly, he learns that his brother was an influential criminal mastermind and starts suspecting that the people in his circle are not at all who they pretend to be. To find his brother’s killer, he joins the police and begins his war against organized crime and bent cops.
Brazilian series Radioactive Emergency (Emergência Radioativa) premieres on Netflix March 18. Goiânia, 1987. A Cesium-137 capsule is found in an abandoned clinic, resulting in one of the world’s largest radiological accidents outside of nuclear power plants.
